Chapter 2 – Volcano?....Inside It

Ah, it’s really a volcano.

I asked Shion to let me ride him and bring me closer to the volcano.

I’ve only seen something like this on TV in Japan.

I’m still a long way from there but I can already feel the heat.

And this is big!

….the top of the volcano is protruding above the clouds.

It looks small when I’m looking at it from my house but it’s gigantic.

….it’s probably around the size of Mt. Fuji.

….but I don’t know how big Mt. Fuji is.

Why didn’t I hear the sound of an eruption?

….is it because the volcano is so far away that I didn’t notice?

Considering the amount of magma, I’d say it's a pretty big eruption….

It’s amazing that it’s safe even if it's in the middle of a volcano.

I’m on Shion and it moves its face close to me.

When I patted it, it squinted its eyes as if it was feeling good and I thought it was cute.

I looked around but I couldn't find any snow-covered mountains.

….I wonder if a snow covered mountain will show up in the future.
