Chapter 11 – Emperors Kingdom’s 1st Knight Order Commander (2)

「We found him!」

The one who barged into my room without knocking and even shouting was my good friend, the commander of the 4th knight order, Mizerost.

「Please, knock.」

I said that while holding my sword.

Things have calmed down but we never know if we’ll be attacked.

I almost accidentally pulled out my sword.

「Ah, sorry….ehto, we found the leader of the 3rd knight order and Duke Gihard.」

「Where are they?」

「They’re with the lord of Totros, the closest city to the forest.」

The nearest city to the forest?

That place should have known what’s happening to the forest the most.

It is the city furthest from the royal capital. Was the slave liberation and the forest incidents not connected?

At some point, Gaji was able to speak and I realized that the other slaves were also regaining consciousness.

That’s what’s happening while the magic stone was being tattered by the attacks from the forest.

I had my doubts but I sped up what I had been doing little by little.

I secretly gave books and maps to Gaji and the other slaves who had regained consciousness and made preparations for their escape.

I spread rumors that if you messed with the slaves, the wrath of the forest would fall unto you. That speeds up my plan further.

While that was happening, I began preparations to take down the king. Failure is not an option.

However, I didn’t ask Gaji and the others to help me in case I failed.

Gaji and the others, who were supposed to have fled, came to me as if it was the matter of course.

And even now, they are helping me by going to various places to organize former slaves.
