"Next, you can all guess what happened; Tomes was hiding behind the door at that time." Lily pointed at the British guy who had led the way earlier.
"After he rushed out and grappled with that person, we all swarmed in and gave that scumbag a good beating." Fang Qian, who was standing nearby, continued.
"The other person, the one you call Mike, probably heard the commotion and fled after hurriedly unlocking the door. It was around 3 or 4 in the morning, and he only had a baseball bat. His chances of survival were probably around 20%."
After the top student Fang Qian finished speaking, he saw Arthur staring at him and hurriedly smiled at him, thinking to himself that he had actually overestimated it; in reality, it was less than 10%.
"Still, there's a 20% chance, which is better than nothing, right?" Seeing the others also staring at him, Fang Qian quickly held back the rest of his words.
"Then, we tied that person up and threw him into a storage room on the second floor. After relocking the door, we slept soundly until you all arrived." Lily, worried that Fang Qian might say something unpleasant, quickly changed the subject.
After Lily finished speaking, she sized up Li Fat and the others, then asked, "What are your plans next?"
"We'll probably stay here for one or two nights. If we can't find Mike, we'll make other plans. What about you?" Li Fat, after finishing his sentence, asked Lily the same question.
Although everyone knew from last night's events that Lily was an extremely intelligent woman and the oldest among them,
she was still just an older, smart woman.
After escaping, everyone would naturally have their own ideas. They would never be able to unite around Lily as a leader.
As a smart woman, Lily was well aware of this. So she had no intention of being a leader; she just wanted to stay behind the men and offer advice.
It was a tiring and thankless job, and whoever wanted to do it could.
However, since she wasn't familiar with Li Fat and his group, Lily didn't dare to join them rashly. Who knew if they were the second Edward, turning Wonderland into a dangerous place again.
"I haven't decided yet. What are everyone's plans?" Lily said, looking at the others.
Seeing everyone hesitate, Tomes spoke up, "We've finally taken over Wonderland. There's food and drink here, so we naturally want to stay. We're not going anywhere."
The others reacted differently to Tomes' words. The British exchange students all nodded, agreeing with Tomes' suggestion.
Lily, however, remained calm, showing no signs of her thoughts and instead observing Li Fat's expression.
The Chinese exchange students, feeling unrepresented, looked unhappy. After all, half of Li Fat's group were Chinese, and the others seemed to trust him a lot. In their hearts, they preferred joining Li Fat's group to surviving with the foreigners.
But since Lily hadn't expressed an opinion, they remained silent for the time being.
"We're going home soon. Our children are with their grandparents..." the young couple spoke up.
"Tony, go find a car for them," Li Fat nodded and said to Tony.
Tony agreed and got up to go outside. After all, Tony had learned a trick from Richard in the morning. Getting a car was no problem.
Perhaps because Li Fat was helping the young couple find a car, the three Japanese people discussed for a moment, and the man asked Li Fat, "Li, can the three of us join your group?"
This was indeed a bit unexpected for Li Fat. The Chinese exchange students weren't very enthusiastic, but these Japanese people wanted to join him.
"Sure, let me introduce myself again. I'm Li Fat. Welcome to our group." Li Fat readily agreed to the three Japanese people's request.
"Hello, I'm Inoue Kazuya, please take care of me."
"I'm Rumi Aya, please take care of me."
"My name is Amami Yu, please take care of me."
The three Japanese people greeted Li Fat and the others very politely.
Although Li Fat wanted to make the welcome ceremony a bit more formal, it would look like he was poaching from others. Seeing that Tomes and the others didn't look too happy, Li Fat decisively abandoned the idea.
He would talk to them separately later.
The three Japanese people, having nothing to carry, got up and joined Li Fat's group. The team now had twelve members, including Richard, the so-called guest.
"We need to find Mike. We might have to stay here for two nights. Is that okay?" Li Fat looked at Lily and then at Tomes.
Lily maintained her friendly smile and nodded at Li Fat.
"The one with the gun makes the decision." Tomes said and walked toward the stairs. "We'll stay on the third floor. The second and first floors are yours."
The other six British people didn't hesitate and got up to follow Tomes upstairs.
"Hey, we're going to the second floor. Feel free to visit anytime." Lily said and went upstairs with the other Chinese exchange students.
Only the British couple and the twelve people in Li Fat's group were left on the first floor. Li Fat smiled bitterly; they had no choice but to sleep in the front hall.
The hall was an easy place to be trapped and attacked, not a good spot. They still didn't know much about these British and Chinese people, so they had to be cautious.
"Fatso, I've got the car." Tony came back from outside and threw a car key to Li Fat.
Li Fat handed the car key to the couple and comforted them, "Don't worry, your children will be safe. Be careful on the road and try to avoid large groups of zombies."
"Thank you, Li. You're a good person. I'm Aston, and this is my wife, Jennifer. We'll definitely meet again!" Aston shook Li Fat's hand, a bit excited.
"Definitely." Li Fat said, handing his machete to Aston.
"You'll need it."
"Li, you're really a good person." Jennifer, her eyes a bit red, also said to Li Fat.
Li Fat smiled and bid farewell to the young couple, watching them leave through the gates of Wonderland.
The car drove farther and farther away. He hoped they would be safe and really meet again.
"Richard, can you take charge of the watch?" After dealing with the Aston couple, Li Fat asked Richard, who was sitting by the door.
According to Richard, he was a guest, and it wouldn't be right to ask him to go look for Mike.
Richard nodded, indicating no problem.
Then, Li Fat divided the remaining people into two groups. Li Fat, Yan Zekun, Alex, Arthur, and Siyao went to look for Mike.
Albe, Michelle, and the three new Japanese members stayed at Wonderland. Tony also stayed behind; with him and Richard watching over Wonderland, Li Fat could go look for Mike with peace of mind.
