At this moment, the big and small Thomas brothers, along with Wang Chan and Wang Zongze, came to the bar, slinging their arms around each other, asking for drinks.
When Albe saw them earlier, the four were still arguing fiercely about which Premier League team would win the championship. How did they suddenly become so harmonious?
"Indeed, great minds think alike, hahaha..."
The group clinked their glasses together and downed them in one go.
"Congratulations to the King leading the Cavaliers to the 2014-2015 season championship!"
"Hey, guys, the Cavaliers and the Warriors are still tied 2-2. How can you draw a conclusion now?"
Shiyao and Alex, after settling Old Hong, heard them loudly celebrating James' championship and came over to interject.
"We just simulated it. The Cavaliers should win the next two games and naturally take the championship!"
Wang Chan answered, gesturing wildly.
"Not really, not really. The Warriors are the team that eliminated the Rockets. They have a champion's aura. Alex and I discussed this long ago, right? Warriors 4-2, absolutely."
"You're wrong! Although they're missing Irving and Love..."
There, they started arguing again. Albe looked at the six people at the bar and shook her head helplessly. Men talk about nothing but sports...
She couldn't quite understand why, in a world like this, they still discussed such things.
"Stop arguing! How can there even be a team with eleven players now!?"
Albe quickly clapped her hands to stop them from continuing.
"Eleven? Come on, Manchester United, definitely Manchester United!"
"Would Liverpool agree with that?"
Albe, speechless, covered her forehead and quickly signaled Shiyao to get rid of this group.
"You're wrong! Manchester City! How could you forget Manchester City!?"
Damn! Albe couldn't help but curse in her heart. Shiyao not only didn't stop them but also joined in. Seeing Alex also enthusiastically participating, Albe had no choice but to hide to the side.
Anyway, the bar was long enough to find a quiet spot.
Tony, being an amateur, was too tired from DJing and jumped off the DJ platform, grabbing someone randomly to replace him.
He quickly taught the person some basics, not caring whether they learned it or not, and quickly fled the DJ platform.
Thinking of the half glass of vodka from before, Tony smacked Alex's head and then walked over to Albe, pretending to know nothing.
"Who hit me!? Come out! Playing this game, are you? Football hooligans, are you!?" Alex, holding his head, suspiciously stared at the other five.
"Don't mind him, he's had too much to drink."
"You're the one who's had too much! Shiyao! Someone really hit me!"
Seeing the commotion beside them, Tony said to Albe with satisfaction, "Albe, get me a Red Bull and vodka. And some food, anything. I'm starving after DJing all night."
"Here's your vodka. As for food, there's none left unless you can find some leftovers from their table." Albe handed the Red Bull and vodka to Tony.
"What? No food left? Didn't we have three days' worth of rations?" Tony gulped down the whole glass and asked Albe with an exaggerated expression.
"Of course, where do you think the food for this party comes from? It's our rations, of course." Albe answered matter-of-factly.
"My queen, why did Li Fatso put you in charge of the rations!? The party is important, but what about tomorrow's stomach?" Li Fatso's judgment is really off. If it doesn't work, I could do it!
"It's all Li Fatso's idea, don't blame me! I'm not an accountant, but I'm not that wasteful. Don't worry, we have enough for tomorrow, but only for one day. We'll have to think of something by then." Albe took back Tony's empty glass and said worriedly.
"You scared me! I thought there was nothing left. As long as we have tomorrow, that's fine, hahaha! Live for today, right?" Tony's broken Chinese made Shiyao and the others laugh, and Alex joined in, not quite understanding.
The six were no longer focused on the incident of Alex being hit; the topic had returned to basketball. They had drunk quite a bit, and the rush of drinking had left them all a bit tipsy.
"Albe, get me some food, I'm really starving!" Tony, knowing there was still food, naturally didn't want to go hungry.
"No way, that's tomorrow's rations. Bear with it, you can eat tomorrow." Albe coldly refused Tony.
"Li Fatso has a sharp eye, finding you to manage the rations. You guys are really ungrateful! Without me DJing, can this still be called a party?" Tony sighed and slumped on the bar, probably thinking about Domino's pizza or various kebabs and fried chicken.
Albe took two cans of beer from the fridge behind her and handed them to Tony.
"There's no food left, but have some liquid bread. It's quite filling."
Tony sighed again, not even lifting his head, muttering about being ungrateful and unappreciative.
"How can you be so down, handsome? You're already tired from DJing? Looks like you're not in great shape." Lily, Ning Dongqing, and Qiqi came to the bar, seeing Tony's dejected state and couldn't help but tease him.
Tony didn't respond; his stomach was empty, and he had no mood for flirting.
"Thanks for your hospitality tonight, we had a great time. It looks like Wang Chan and the others want to continue, so we'll leave it to you. We're a bit tipsy and are going to rest." Lily didn't mind Tony's coldness and said goodbye to Albe.
Albe just nodded; they weren't very close, so there was no need to be overly enthusiastic.
"Dongqing, take out the food from your bag and give it to this brother." Lily, seeing Tony's dejected state, said to the little girl beside her.
Tony, hearing there was food, quickly sat up.
However, the little girl Ning Dongqing ignored her, showing no intention of sharing.
"Dongqing, be a good girl."
The little girl looked at Lily's eyes, then at Tony, who was practically wagging his tail, and reluctantly took out two small bags of chips from her bag.
Probably because they had no rations left, the little girl wanted to take some back.
"Little sister, I see there's bread in your bag. Can you give me two slices?"
The little girl looked at Tony with disgust, took out two slices of bread from her bag, and threw them on the bar, then ran off, making everyone laugh.
Lily and Qiqi said sorry to everyone and went back upstairs.
"Tony, I remember you don't like dry bread, right?" Shiyao laughed, seeing Tony wolfing down the bread.
With his mouth full of bread, Tony couldn't answer.
The little girl gave me vinegar-flavored chips, which is quite a grudge, but they go well with the bread.
Tony thought to himself as he ate.
