Lifatty got up from the ground, looked around, and saw many people lying around haphazardly, all sleeping soundly.
He glanced at his watch; it was 9 a.m.
Although he didn't know when they had stopped partying last night, they all seemed to have had a great time. Albe, Michelle, and two other Japanese girls were sleeping on the sofa not far away.
Besides his team members, there were also Wang Can, Wang Zongze, Fang Qian from the second floor, and Little Tom from the third floor. It seemed these few people had fallen asleep right after their fun last night, while Big Tom was nowhere to be seen, probably having returned to the third floor.
Lifatty glanced at Yan Zejun beside him and sighed helplessly. He thought to himself that he must never let this guy drink again; he had completely changed into a different person.
Lifatty quietly walked out of the hall and saw Arthur and Richard lying on the sofas in the front hall, both asleep. It seemed they had taken turns keeping watch last night and had fallen asleep as soon as it was light.
Speaking of which, he hadn't seen Richard all night and didn't know where he had been.
Although Lifatty's steps were light, Richard still heard the noise. Seeing it was Lifatty, he turned over and went back to sleep.
Sunlight streamed in from outside, and the branches were gently caressed by the breeze. If it weren't for the zombies, it would have been a perfect morning.
The zombies had stopped banging on the door, but they were still wandering around the entrance. The entire street, as far as the eye could see, was filled with zombies.
Without someone to lead them away, there was no way they could get out.
Fortunately, the food should last for a few more days, Lifatty thought optimistically, completely unaware that they were already in a food crisis.
Seeing that everything was safe, Lifatty strolled back into the hall.
It had to be said that, since the hall was deep inside the building, there was no need to worry about the annoying snoring, and Lifatty finally had a good night's sleep.
But he had a headache, having drunk quite a bit last night. He rubbed his head, remembering the truth or dare game with Lily. He couldn't remember what Lily had asked him, but he remembered she had asked a lot, and he had answered everything.
Thinking about this, Lifatty felt a bit uneasy. Although he hadn't gone out to play for nearly two years, he used to be a seasoned drinker. He must have lost pretty badly last night.
Albe, probably because she hadn't drunk much, sat up when she heard the noise.
"Last night must have been tough, don't you want to rest a bit more?" Lifatty asked her with concern.
Albe shook her head and walked to the bar to get two glasses of water.
"Fatso, our situation isn't looking good."
"I know, we'll figure out a way to deal with those guys outside soon," Lifatty said, not wanting Albe to worry too much.
"It would be best to come up with a plan today, because we only have one day's worth of food left," Albe said with some concern.
The food shortage greatly surprised Lifatty.
"There shouldn't be any food on the second floor. If we share with them, we won't have enough for today," Lifatty scratched his head, finding the situation quite tricky.
"Don't worry, they brought a lot of food from the party yesterday, enough for today," Albe took Lifatty's glass and went to the sink to wash it.
Lifatty walked over to Albe and gently pushed her aside.
"Let me do it. You're on your period, so don't touch cold water."
Albe looked at Lifatty's broad back and sighed again.
"Lifatty, I know you're a good person, but..."
"But what?"
"They're not with us, and we don't have enough food. Do we really have to share with them?"
"They're Chinese, it's no big deal to share a little."
"But not all Chinese are good people," Albe said and turned to leave.
Lifatty stopped washing the cups and looked back at Albe's back.
Does she know something?

People gradually woke up. Last night, they had partied so hard that they had almost forgotten they were trapped in this nightclub. The pressure of the past few days had been like a mountain on everyone's back, and if they hadn't released it, they would all have become neurotic.
Of course, some had overdone it, like Tony.
The others gathered around Tony, not knowing what had happened.
"He has a fever! It's very high, what should we do?" Albe felt Tony's forehead and said worriedly.
"Fever? I've seen The Walking Dead, the people in it get a fever first, then turn into zombies!" Wang Can said urgently after hearing Albe.
Wang Can and the others had not returned to the second floor after waking up, probably because it was more comfortable downstairs.
Everyone started to discuss after hearing Wang Can.
"That's only if they were bitten by a zombie. This is just a regular fever."
Seeing Wang Can making a big deal out of it, Si Yao spoke up.
"Even if it's a regular fever, if it doesn't go down in time, it can be fatal! Everyone, stop arguing! Does anyone have any fever medicine or antibiotics?" Lifatty gestured for everyone to quiet down and asked.
Seeing no one respond, Lifatty rushed to the front hall and started rummaging through Richard's bag.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Richard squinted and asked Lifatty.
"Do you have any medicine? Tony has a fever, and if it continues, he'll be in danger," Lifatty continued searching without looking up.
"There's no need to search. How could I have that kind of thing?" Richard sat up and said.
Lifatty plopped down on the ground, not knowing what to do.
"Yeah, you're not Doraemon, you can't have everything," Lifatty said and ran back to the hall.
Arthur, who had been keeping watch late into the night, was still sound asleep and hadn't been woken up by the commotion.
"Albe, do we have any ice at the bar to cool Tony down? The rest of you, let's have a meeting!" Lifatty ran back to the hall and said urgently.
Leaving Albe and Michelle to take care of Tony, the others moved to one side.
"We urgently need fever medicine, antibiotics, or any medicine. Does anyone have any?"
Seeing everyone shake their heads, Lifatty was very anxious.
In normal times, this would just be a common fever. Take some medicine, rest for two days, and you'd be fine. But now, in the apocalypse, with food not guaranteed, where could they get medicine?
"There's none on the second or third floors," Si Yao ran in from outside.
"Shit!" Lifatty couldn't help but curse.
"Brother, calm down. If you panic, what will the rest of us do?" Hong Taiping walked over to Lifatty and patted his shoulder.
Lifatty nodded. Yes, he needed to stay calm; panicking wouldn't solve anything!
"We need to find medicine. A pharmacy! We need to go to a pharmacy!"
"Although I don't want to be a downer, given the situation outside, our chances of getting out are almost 0%. And even if we find the medicine, if more people die in the process... is it really worth it?" Fang Qian shrugged and said.
