"Already dead!?"

Lily turned back, disbelieving.

"He’s not dead, but the amount of blood doesn’t seem as much as I imagined..." Yan Zejun pointed to the spot where Li Fatso was tightly holding his chest.

"What the hell are you talking about? What do you mean?" Lily couldn’t understand what Yan Zejun was saying.

Since she needed to drive, once Lily heard that Li Fatso was fine, she quickly focused back on the road. Yan Zejun didn’t answer her but climbed to the back seat directly.

He wanted to move Li Fatso’s hand that was tightly covering his chest, but Li Fatso refused to let go.

"Damn you, Yan! Do you have any humanity!? I’m about to die, and you’re still messing with me!?" Li Fatso shouted in pain.

Yan Zejun ignored him and continued to pry his hand open.

"Why is there so little blood?" Yan Zejun looked at the torn shirt and the amount of blood, feeling puzzled.

Although Li Fatso’s shirt was stained red with blood, after being stabbed, it only took him a moment to stop the bleeding by covering it? Could it be that Li Fatso had undergone some kind of mutation? Evolution?

"Finished! Finished! Finished! Important things said three times! This time, I, Fatso, am done! You damn fool with the Lotus! I won’t let you off even if I become a ghost!"

Ignoring Li Fatso’s struggles, Yan Zejun tore open his shirt, revealing his plump chest.

"Yan, can you let me die with a bit of dignity!?" Li Fatso felt weak all over. Although Yan Zejun forcibly stripped him of his shirt, he was too weak to resist and could only close his eyes and speak.

Yan Zejun ignored Li Fatso and placed his hand on the wound. He carefully examined and touched it, trying to find the key to the problem.

"Pain! Pain! Don’t touch my chest! You damn queer!" Li Fatso gritted his teeth and cursed.

"Strange." Yan Zejun scratched his head, puzzled.

On Li Fatso’s chest, there was only a single wound, and the bleeding had stopped. Although Yan Zejun had never seen a stab wound from a dagger, it certainly shouldn’t be just a thin scratch.

Could it be that Li Fatso had some self-healing ability? Or had he evolved to be impervious to blades?

Yan Zejun quickly checked Li Fatso’s shirt again. Next to the tear from the dagger, there was Li Fatso’s shirt pocket, which also had a hole. Something was bulging inside.

Yan Zejun pulled it out and saw that it was the Patek Philippe gold watch he had given Li Fatso. There was a faint white mark on the watch’s surface, which ran from the center to the left, toward the position of Li Fatso’s wound.

Yan Zejun gently touched the white mark, and it disappeared, leaving the Patek Philippe’s surface as smooth as ever.

He finally understood why the tear in the shirt seemed strange. It was more like a cut than a stab.

This explained why Li Fatso hadn’t bled much. What about the heart being pierced? It was just a scratch on the skin!

Yan Zejun shook his head, realizing he had been overthinking it.

"Yan, how is it? Is there any hope for me?" Li Fatso opened one eye and asked Yan Zejun with some effort.

Seeing Li Fatso still acting like he was about to die, Yan Zejun laughed and scolded, "You damn fool, including the time in the KTV, I’ve saved you twice now."

After saying that, Yan Zejun placed the Patek Philippe on Li Fatso’s face and climbed back to the passenger seat.

"What happened?" Lily glanced back and asked Yan Zejun.

"Remember the watch I gave the fatso? He put it in his shirt pocket. When that punk stabbed him, he probably hit the watch. We might have thought he was stabbed because of the angle." Yan Zejun explained, speechless.

"What about the blood?" Lily’s heart eased when she heard that Li Fatso wasn’t in danger.

"Blood? That punk didn’t stab him. He probably just slid and cut Li Fatso’s tender skin." Yan Zejun continued.

"..." Lily looked back at Li Fatso, speechless.

Li Fatso couldn’t lie down anymore, so he grabbed the Patek Philippe from his face and hurriedly sat up.

"Damn! No wonder I didn’t see the scene from the plane in my dream this time!" Li Fatso listened to Yan Zejun’s words and understood what had happened. "When he stabbed me, I was stunned. I thought, ‘What the hell are you stunned about?’ It turns out he stabbed the watch!"

Li Fatso held the Patek Philippe in his hand, feeling extremely excited. He quickly checked his wound, which was indeed just a scratch, not deep at all. It had almost stopped bleeding.

"Fatso, put your shirt back on!" Lily looked at Li Fatso’s bare chest in the rearview mirror, displeased.

Li Fatso finally put his shirt back on and carefully tucked the Patek Philippe back into his shirt pocket, then patted Yan Zejun’s shoulder.

"Thanks, Yan. You really have a knack for this. In just a few days, you’ve saved me twice."

Yan Zejun sighed and didn’t respond.

"Don’t worry, Yan. If you’re in danger in the future, I, Li Fatso, will definitely help without hesitation..."

"Where are we now? Does anyone know the way?" Li Fatso was interrupted by Lily before he could finish.

Li Fatso pursed his lips and looked out the window.

"How did we end up at Mary-Chapman-Court?" It turned out Li Fatso knew this area.

"Mary-Chapman-Court? What’s that?" Lily and Yan Zejun looked at Li Fatso, confused.

Looking at the familiar scenery outside, Li Fatso explained, "It’s UEA’s dormitory, but it’s in the city center, not on campus."

"I didn’t expect UEA to have dorms here. They must be rich." Lily followed Li Fatso’s directions and drove toward the dormitory area.

"You’ve been fooled!" Li Fatso said with a look of youthful naivety. "Although it’s UEA’s city dorm, don’t be fooled by the fancy name."

Li Fatso thought back to his days living there and continued, "Although the name sounds good, the dorm buildings are very old. UEA’s campus dorms are single rooms with private bathrooms, and the quality has been rated the best in the UK, like a home-away-from-home hotel. But here, five people share a dorm and a bathroom. Compared to the campus dorms, it’s like heaven and earth."

"Besides, university courses are not easy. Sitting on a bus for an hour every day to get to class is very tiring."

"How do you know so much?" Lily asked Li Fatso.

"Ah, in my first year, I was fooled. I saw the city dorm and chose it without hesitation, only to find out how bad it was." Li Fatso sighed in response.
