Chapter 8

Tony grabbed the other half of the mop and hurriedly ran downstairs. Li Fatty turned and ran into room 309, and when he came out, he was holding an empty wine bottle.

He used his half of the mop to prop the door open; without a weapon in his hand, he really didn't dare to rashly run down to the first floor.

Just as he was about to go downstairs, he saw Lady Queen looking at him, at a loss for words.

"Beauty, there's no time to explain! Find a handy weapon and come with me quickly!"

Li Fatty knew that humans turned into zombies would become stronger, and he was very worried whether the ropes tying them up were still effective.

After saying that, Li Fatty took two steps to catch up with Tony.

Lady Queen was stunned for a few seconds, then she also rushed into room 309, following Li Fatty's example and picked up an empty wine bottle.

She absolutely dared not stay on the third floor by herself; she knew very well what was in room 308 next door.

Li Fatty rushed to the first floor, first checking the front desk and the entrance. The two brothers and Hao Chen blocking the door were still unconscious, so it must be the bathroom!

Just as Li Fatty ran to the bathroom, he saw Tony standing there. Tony pointed to the women's restroom with the mop, indicating that the sound was coming from there.

"Help! Damn! Is anyone there!? Save me!!"

Why does this voice sound so familiar?

Li Fatty and Tony exchanged a glance and kicked open the bathroom door. They saw the literary youth with glasses half-leaning against the wall, crying uncontrollably.

At his feet, two tightly bound zombies were crawling towards him, and the low growls of the zombies continuously struck the fragile mind of the young man with glasses.

Like seeing an oasis after walking in the desert for over a month, the young man with glasses' eyes lit up, stopping his crying and urgently seeking help from Li Fatty and Tony.

"Bro, save me quickly! What's going on here!? Move them away!"

Tony gave Li Fatty a look, indicating that he would handle it.

He approached the two zombies, using the sharp end of the broken mop to quickly stab the two zombies, ending the lives of the two students.

Seeing Tony's calm face, Li Fatty couldn't help but feel a bit emotional. Tony was much more cold-blooded than himself, almost as if he was born for the zombie world. When he killed the first zombie, he was stunned for several seconds, and he had completely forgotten what he was thinking at the time.

Although Lady Queen was a step behind, she also arrived behind Li Fatty and Tony.

Finally out of danger and seeing his friends, the young man with glasses couldn't hold back any longer and started crying loudly.

"Albe, Albe, sniff, what's going on here!? Sniff..."

Albe, seeing the two bodies on the ground, was so shocked that he couldn't speak.

Li Fatty turned his head and looked at Lady Queen, thinking to himself: So your name is Albe.

There were still sounds coming from the stalls in the bathroom, and Tony pulled out the mop and headed over.

The next scene was bound to be bloody, so Li Fatty urged the young man with glasses to leave quickly.

Albe helped the young man with glasses untie his bindings. His legs were too weak to walk on his own, so Albe had to support him out of the bathroom.

Before leaving, Li Fatty didn't forget to warn them that there were still three unknowns in the hall, telling them to be careful.

Then, they opened the doors of the stalls one by one. The four people in the stalls were all awake, but unfortunately, none of them survived.

Li Fatty and Tony had to send them on their way.

Since it wasn't their first time killing zombies, they were much more skilled. However, the wine bottle in Li Fatty's hand was useless, and all the work was done by Tony.

Just as Li Fatty was thinking about finding another weapon, he heard a sound coming from the men's bathroom.

The two of them hurriedly went to the men's bathroom. Unfortunately, everyone in there had turned into zombies, and no one had survived.

The two of them stopped in front of a stall, hesitating for a long time. Inside was none other than the manager of the KTV.

Tony, being a regular at the KTV, naturally recognized him, and Li Fatty was even more familiar.

Li Fatty felt very uncomfortable. Although the two of them weren't close friends, the manager had given him a job when he was in trouble.

As a friend, that was enough.

Li Fatty couldn't help but think back to the days when they were drinking buddies.

Those carefree and luxurious times, those clumsy and unaware days of foolishness, those unerasable shameful memories. They were the best years of their youth.

Tony, knowing their relationship, patted Li Fatty's shoulder and said, "Fatso, you go outside, I'll do it."

Li Fatty shook his head, took the half of the mop from Tony, and thrust it in.

Li Fatty and Tony returned to the hall and found that Hao Chen had already woken up and was holding hands with Albe, talking about something.

The young man with glasses was sitting on a chair nearby, still a bit pale. When the three of them saw Li Fatty and Tony walk over, they couldn't help but feel nervous.

They knew what had happened in the bathroom and that their former friends had been killed by these two.

Li Fatty saw the expressions on their faces but didn't pay much attention. He pulled over a sofa and sat down.

"There shouldn't be anything left out," Li Fatty said, looking at the three people across from him.

The young man with glasses was fiddling with his phone, and Hao Chen lowered her head, not daring to meet Li Fatty's eyes. She probably still thought he had killed everyone else. Ah, whatever.

Lady Queen stared at Li Fatty, as if waiting for him to give an answer.

Tony plopped down next to Li Fatty and said, "I know it's hard for everyone to understand the current situation, but we don't have much to tell you..."

As he spoke, Tony pointed to Li Fatty.

"Li Fatty was the first one to wake up among us. If you have any questions, ask him."

The young man with glasses, who had been fiddling with his phone, suddenly looked up at Li Fatty.

"Were those zombies just now?"

"Yep."

Getting a positive answer from Li Fatty, the young man with glasses shook his iPhone 6 somewhat dejectedly.

"I don't know why, but even though there's a signal, it doesn't seem to do much. Do you want to try?"

The young man's words reminded everyone, and they all took out their phones. Only Tony stood up and searched the front desk for a long time, asking in confusion, "Did anyone see the phone I left on the front desk?"

Li Fatty was taken aback and said to Tony, "If you lose your phone, the store is not responsible. Why did you leave it there? But it doesn't matter whether you lost it or not. You can't open web pages, send WeChat or QQ messages, or make calls."

Looking at the expressions of the other two girls, Li Fatty guessed they were in the same situation.

Li Fatty lightly glanced at Albe's phone, trying QQ, WeChat, and calls.

"Damn, Lady Queen, you don't have QQ, WeChat, or a phone number!?"

Li Fatty felt depressed, thinking, Do I look like such a bad person?
