**Bang!**
The man quickly crouched down, and the mop, which had grazed his hair, hit the wall and broke into two pieces.
“Fuck! Fatso, what the hell are you doing!? Are you drunk or what!?”
Hearing the broken Chinese, Li Fatso finally relaxed, realizing it wasn’t a zombie.
“It’s you, you scared me to death!” His hands were still numb from the force of the impact.
“You scared me too! If it wasn’t you, would it be a ghost? Are you running a fever or something?” Tony said, reaching out to touch Li Fatso’s forehead.
Li Fatso tilted his head away from Tony’s hand.
“Don’t say anything, just look outside...”
...
“My God! Is this a movie? The Walking Dead?”
Li Fatso ignored Tony’s question and picked up the other half of the mop, handing it to him.
“What’s your English name again?”
Li Fatso, who had never been good at remembering names, had completely forgotten Tony’s name after the recent scares.
“Tony, but I prefer being called Fatso, that’s my Chinese name.”
“Alright, Tony. Follow me.”
The two walked to the entrance of a private room on the second floor. Li Fatso listened carefully first. There was no sound, so it should be safe!
“Tony, since you’ve seen The Walking Dead, I won’t explain much. Don’t ask me what happened; I don’t know much more than you. We need to tie up everyone on the second floor, or they’ll turn into zombies, and we’ll be done for.”
“Oh-my-god! This is so cool! I didn’t think zombies were real, so awesome. Should I change my name to Rick?” Tony said excitedly.
Li Fatso looked at Tony speechlessly, gesturing for him to enter the room.
The KTV had three floors, with only two private rooms on each floor. It was already quite good to have such a place in a prime location on a bar street. And since almost all the KTV patrons were Chinese students, it was sufficient.
“Wait, all the rooms on the second floor were empty. I checked them all when I didn’t see anyone.”
“Damn! Why didn’t you say so earlier? Let’s go to the third floor.”
Li Fatso didn’t say much, just waved the half-mop in his hand and walked with Tony to the third floor.
“Hey, holding just half a mop is a bit too low-class, right? Don’t you have any other weapons?” Tony complained as they climbed the stairs.
“Be grateful. Do you think this is America? It’s hard to find even a machete in the UK. Don’t think too much. If you encounter a zombie, remember to aim for the head.”
Unlike in America, even knives are regulated in the UK. You need to show your ID and be of a certain age to buy a kitchen knife at a supermarket.
“Alright, don’t you have any baseball bats, steel bars, or even a kitchen knife in your KTV? By the way, are we the only ones alive in the KTV? What about the others?” After all the talk, Tony finally asked the most important question.
“The others are still unconscious. When they wake up, they’ll probably turn into zombies. Oh, and one girl woke up earlier. She couldn’t handle the shock and fainted again. I tied her up and left her at the front desk.” Li Fatso told Tony about Hao Chen.
“Why are you so heartless? You tied her up even before she turned into a zombie? Could it be that...”
Tony laughed lecherously.
“Cut it out. You think I’m like you, a pervert? Right now, our survival is the issue. I don’t have time for that.”
As they spoke, they were almost at the third floor. Hearing some movement upstairs, Li Fatso signaled Tony to be quiet.
Li Fatso peered up the stairs with both hands.
“Shit!”
A zombie was slowly approaching the Queen!
Li Fatso cursed inwardly. Sure enough, there were still guests in the other room, and they had already woken up and turned into zombies!
It seemed the other guests in the room had already been attacked.
Tony, unable to see the situation upstairs, patted Li Fatso’s butt and whispered, “What’s going on up there? Why aren’t you moving?”
Li Fatso cursed again, deciding to take action.
“I’ll take care of the zombie in front. You go and close the door to room 308!” Li Fatso said, then charged at the zombie.
Although the broken end of the mop was somewhat sharp, Li Fatso couldn’t be sure if it could kill the zombie. But he had no choice! If he waited a few more seconds, the Queen would be dead!
The zombie, apparently attracted by the meal in front of it, ignored Li Fatso’s approach. It bent down, opening its bloody mouth!
Without time to aim, Li Fatso used all his strength to stab the zombie’s head!
With a “thud,” the mop pierced the zombie’s head!
Blood splattered all over Li Fatso’s face. This was the feeling of killing!
The zombie fell on the Queen’s legs, and Li Fatso collapsed to the ground.
Did he just kill his first zombie? So easily?
Before Li Fatso could recover, he heard Tony’s broken Chinese again.
“Fatso, hurry up! There are several zombies in there! I can’t hold them off!”
Li Fatso stepped on the zombie’s head, pulled out the mop, and rushed to the door of room 308.
The door wasn’t locked, and the handle was ring-shaped. The zombies were pulling from the inside, and Tony was struggling to hold them back.
Thankfully, Tony didn’t run away. If the zombies had been released, Li Fatso would have been in real trouble!
“Think of something! I can’t hold them off much longer! These zombies are incredibly strong!” Tony said, his face contorted with effort.
Li Fatso had a sudden idea. He compared the length of the mop to the width of the door, finding it just a bit longer.
“Use more force! I’ll use this mop to block the door!” Li Fatso said, pushing the mop through the ring handle. However, the zombies’ strength was immense, often disrupting his actions.
“Damn! Sweat is getting in my eyes!” Tony said, closing his eyes in pain but not letting go.
Seeing Tony struggling, Li Fatso’s sweat also started to pour down.
Just as they were trying their best to block the door, the Queen woke up.
They glanced at her. Although her eyes were confused, she hadn’t turned into a zombie! Since she wasn’t a zombie, they had no time to deal with her and continued to struggle with the zombies inside.
The Queen felt like she had had a very long dream. She couldn’t remember the details, but it felt terrible, definitely a nightmare.
She opened her eyes groggily, not knowing what Li Fatso and Tony were doing. But when Li Fatso looked back at her, the Queen instantly shivered and became fully awake!
What was that red stuff on his face? Could it be her period?
Thinking this, the Queen looked down and saw her legs were pinned by something.
...
“Murder! Murder! Help!”
The Queen kicked the corpse away, ignoring the red blood on her legs, and shakily stood up, leaning against the wall and hiding by the window.
They were almost done blocking the door! Li Fatso and Tony had no time to pay attention to her!
Misunderstanding them, the Queen took the opportunity to shout out the window.
“Murder! Help! Kill...”
The Queen stopped mid-sentence.
“Phew! Finally done! Thanks to me holding them off, or we’d all be dead tonight!” Tony collapsed on the ground, wiping the sweat from his face.
Li Fatso was about to say something when he heard a noise from the first floor!
