A burning townscape surrounds the boy. The boy is hugging a girl in a whirlpool of unstoppable flames. The girl is no longer breathing. A man stands in front of them, imposing. “I’m going to take your vision, child.” Contrary to what he looks like at 30 years old, he has a high voice. The man shows the boy the back of his right hand. There is a red coat of arms there. It is a coat of arms, a flower in full bloom. The coat of arms is proof of being a magician. The boy without the coat of arms saw the coat of arms and realized that he had no chance of winning. “In a world where you have lost all your loved ones and all the light in your life… You should live miserably in despair.” The imposing man cackles, the boy aware that he’s doing this just for sport. There is no point in not killing the boy. It doesn’t make sense for him to take only the boy’s eyes. “Choose, boy.” The man’s emblem shines. “ What’s the last thing you see?” The boy raises his head to look at the man. He is a man in black vestment, blonde and his eyes are bloody red, surrounded in eyeliner. His skin is white, and his lips are smeared with black lipstick. The man looked at the boy and laughed happily. “Good luck.” The cornea of the boy’s eyes exploded. His vision was stolen and he did despair for the first time.
