Yujia had never heard that she had a brother before, but there was no time to ask as Lu Lu had already left. After about two minutes, Yujia's phone rang. She walked out of the classroom to answer it: "Hello? Wang Bai, what do you want? ... Hmm? Lu Lu? She's not with me. Someone was looking for her just now, and she said she went downstairs to meet some of her brother's friends... What did you say?!"
Her voice immediately became tense as she walked to the corridor railing and saw Lu Lu getting into a van. She shouted loudly, "Lu Lu! Don't go over there! Come back quickly!"
Lu Lu turned her head to look at her with a blank expression. At that moment, the van door was suddenly yanked open, and two men with fierce expressions jumped out. One of them held a piece of white cotton cloth in his hand. He pressed it over Lu Lu's mouth, and after a few struggles, she went limp.
Yujia screamed and shouted into the phone, "Wang Bai! Help! Lu Lu has been kidnapped! She's been taken by some bad guys!" Then she started shouting for help in the corridor. By the time people from the classrooms came out to see what was happening, the two men had already carried Lu Lu back into the van, and the vehicle sped away.
Wang Bai, on the other end of the phone, had already understood what had happened and was filled with panic. He hung up and started running towards the school!
Yujia stopped calling for help at the school because she knew it was too late to chase after them. When her classmates asked her what was going on, she didn't waste time explaining and quickly called the police with trembling hands.
When the call was connected, she spoke in a broken and nervous voice, stuttering and crying. She was really afraid that her friend might be in serious danger. The two men who had come out of the van didn't look like good people.
The operator asked if she had seen the license plate, but she could only cry and say it was too dark to see clearly, only remembering the general model and color of the van.
The teaching building was some distance from the school gate, and the gatekeeper was a bit hard of hearing, so he didn't hear the commotion. He saw the van return and the young man in the van wave at him, so he opened the gate and let it pass, muttering, "Didn't they say they had a lot of stuff? How did they finish so quickly..."
The van left the school and made a right turn, speeding away. Inside the van, a bald man sitting in the middle row looked at the limp Lu Lu and couldn't help but pinch her cheek with a lecherous smile.
A man named Ah Bing, sitting in the back row, slapped him on the back of the head, "Damn, behave yourself! I haven't even touched her yet, and you're already itching to!"
The bald man rubbed his head and laughed, "Brother Bing, can't we do it in the car? I'm really uncomfortable."
"Be patient," Ah Bing said with an evil smile, "If you can't endure a little, you'll ruin the big plan. When we get to the place, we'll wake her up, and that will be more interesting. Then we'll use her to lure that boy. I bet this girl is still a virgin. You can hold the boy behind me while I deflower her. Hahaha..."
The bald man still had some concerns, "Brother Bing, that boy is skilled. Are we sure we can control him with just a few of us? Should we call more people?"
"Too many people, too many eyes, and it's easy for the news to leak. What if the cops come?" Ah Bing said sternly, "And if we call 17 or 18 brothers, they'll have to wait in line for over an hour. Are you willing to wait? With her in our hands, we don't have to worry about controlling that boy. Skills are useless. We'll break his arms and legs, and see how he acts then!"
The van didn't drive too far and stopped in Guanglin Town, in a suburban area. Most of the residents had already moved, and there was construction nearby. However, one house stood out, seemingly a holdout.
This place was Ah Bing's old home, and they had refused to sign the relocation agreement, demanding three times the compensation in housing.
Actually, no one lived in this house anymore. Ah Bing's family had two other houses in Guanglin and wasn't short of money, but they were greedy.
Ah Bing had the key to this old house. The area was sparsely populated and often filled with the sound of machinery, making it a perfect place for their nefarious deeds.
A bowl of cold water was splashed on Lu Lu's face, and she slowly woke up, but her eyes were still dazed. Ah Bing cursed, "Damn, what kind of drug did you use? She's so out of it, she can't even tell north from south. What's the point of this?"
The young man with a cap, known as "Thief Scholar" for his cunning and good looks, smiled awkwardly, "Brother Bing, it's only been a short time. The effects haven't worn off yet. Give it a bit more time, and she'll be more awake."
"Damn," Ah Bing spat, "I can't wait. Check her phone and see if you can find that boy's number. Call him!"
Thief Scholar had no choice but to find Lu Lu's phone in her pocket, turn it on, and check the contacts. "Hey, he's really in here," he said and made the call.
The call was immediately answered, and Wang Bai waited for the other person to speak. Thief Scholar said, "Brat, if you don't want your classmate to die, come to..." He gave an address and then said menacingly, "If you bring anyone or call the police, you'll be receiving a body!"
They had done this before, knowing that such students often acted impulsively and wouldn't call the police, usually coming alone.
Thief Scholar hung up and said to Ah Bing, "Hehe, it's done. Just wait for the boy to fall into the trap."
The bald man, who had been impatient in the car, couldn't hold back anymore. He looked at Lu Lu's pale, smooth face and hands, and couldn't resist the urge to tear off her clothes and see what she looked like underneath. He squatted next to her and said, "Brother Bing, if the boy doesn't come, are we just going to wait? Why not have some fun first? We can deal with the boy later. Who cares about the order?"
"Go to hell!" Ah Bing kicked him, "You'd forget your own mother if you took your pants off. When the boy comes, you might not even be able to pull out. Damn... If you cause trouble again, get out. You won't get a share tonight!"
The bald man rubbed his head and laughed, not saying anything more. The thug with a scar on his face, who had been driving, stood silently by the window, smoking and occasionally glancing at Lu Lu, who was unconscious on the sofa.
Ah Bing walked over and asked for a cigarette, then said, "Old Seven, Brother Sha and that idiot Cha Si are both dead. When he can come out is uncertain. What do you think about what I told you? Join me? We can control the southern part of Guanglin. You have the skills, and I have the people. Together, we can rule Guanglin!"
Old Seven, the scar-faced man, didn't say anything, just continued smoking. Ah Bing patted his shoulder, "What are you hesitating about? I won't treat you unfairly. We'll be equals! I called you here because I trust you. Don't you trust me?"
Old Seven chuckled, "Brother Bing, Brother Sha hasn't been sentenced yet, and you're already eager to take his territory. Aren't you afraid the brothers will be disappointed?"
"Who dares to speak out?" Ah Bing's eyes flashed with anger, "Brother Sha's territory was built by our brothers. Now that he's in trouble, should we let others take it? I know you're the most capable among his direct subordinates and the one who contributed the most. If we join forces, everyone will be satisfied, and no one will speak out."
Old Seven smiled ambiguously, "Let's talk about it after tonight."
"Sure, let's not talk business tonight to avoid spoiling the mood," Ah Bing patted his shoulder and said, "Why don't you go first? I'm very generous, just say the word."
Old Seven exhaled a puff of smoke, "You're too kind, but thanks. I don't want to make it hard for you in front of the brothers." He and Ah Bing were of the same generation, but he had joined later, so his rank was slightly lower. Normally, taking the lead wouldn't be an issue, but he seemed to care about Ah Bing's reputation among the brothers.
Ah Bing was delighted, thinking he had won his loyalty, and said, "Old Seven, you're a man of honor. I didn't misjudge you!"
They both laughed, and Ah Bing turned to discuss the plan with his men. Old Seven put out his cigarette and stared at Ah Bing's back, a dark look in his eyes.
He then looked out the window and saw a taxi pull up. A young man got out and the taxi drove away. The young man looked around and then walked towards the isolated old house.
"He's here," Old Seven said. The other three immediately became alert. The bald man looked at Lu Lu on the sofa and laughed lecherously, "He came pretty fast. Must be eager to save the damsel in distress."
Ah Bing picked up an iron rod from the wall and ordered, "Let's go to the back of the door. When the boy comes in, give him a few hard hits." He then said to the scar-faced man, "Old Seven, we'll handle the dirty work. You watch the girl. If the boy resists, put a knife to her neck."
Old Seven nodded, pulled out a folding knife, and walked to the sofa. He grabbed Lu Lu's hair, tilting her head back, and pressed the knife to her neck. Ah Bing nodded in satisfaction, knowing it was better to be prepared. He then signaled to his two men, and they all hid behind the door with iron rods.
The door was slightly ajar, and they were on the ground floor. The room was lit, but the light was dim. Wang Bai walked to the door, looked inside, and kicked it open but didn't enter.
He saw Lu Lu, limp on the sofa, and the scar-faced man holding her. However, he didn't rush in but stood outside and said, "Come out and talk, or I'll call the police."
The three thugs were taken aback, wondering if the boy really dared to call the police. They didn't know that their threats only worked on ordinary students. Wang Bai knew that even if they had the nerve, they wouldn't dare to kill.
He hadn't called the police first to confirm that Lu Lu was indeed here and to avoid alerting them. Now that he had confirmed the location and saw that her clothes were still intact, he was more confident in rescuing her.
