Chapter 94

3 min read671 words

Writing this book up to now, the number of monthly votes has never been so low.

The quality of this book can be said to be a balance between readability and self-entertainment. Previous books had too much personal content; I liked to write things I enjoyed into the story. But with this book, I have been paying attention to this point all along, only adding a little bit when I couldn't hold back anymore.

The subscription numbers are still good, with a peak of over two thousand, and the average subscription is almost one thousand five hundred.

I believe this performance is just the beginning, and it will gradually improve because I have written this book very steadily. There are still many ideas that haven't been written out yet, and what I'm writing now is just a small corner. This is the only book I've written that hasn't had a single missed update even after going on sale, and I've outlined nearly thirty thousand words in advance.

Currently, there are 161 monthly votes, and the gap isn't too large.

However, I am also hesitating because once this book makes the list, the book review section will be filled with all kinds of negativity and criticism.

I haven't fought back for two days, and I've dropped off the overall list.

The book review section is now clean.

I don't know the answer because I'm afraid that someone will use my old books to attack this one, even if they have never subscribed to my books. I would be left speechless.

Everyone has made mistakes and wants to change. Some have changed, while others still have their flaws.

I don't want to promise to complete the book because I feel that making such a promise at this time is a bit ironic! If I were to say it, it should be when the book is completed. I am a lazy person and often want to change this habit, but I keep falling back into the same problems.

I don't like to say things with 100% certainty.

However, the probability of completing this book should be over 80%, excluding some irresistible accidents, it should be able to complete normally.

If this book cannot be completed, I probably won't write any more books in the future.

So if it can't be completed, I will write it with the mindset of it being my last book, just like the title I chose—Final Redemption!

If it can be completed, then I will continue to write.

If not, I won't write any more books in the future. I don't want to let you down again with hope.

Without today's guaranteed update, four days after going on sale, I've updated 13 times, which is not fast but not slow either.

On average, I write about a thousand words a day. I can manage this speed. I guarantee two updates a day, with occasional bursts.

I am now a full-time writer.

Should I compete for monthly votes for the new book, or not?

I am very confused and hope you can give me some direction. If I compete, I will continue to burst. If I don't compete, I will update twice a day and fix the update times in a few days.

The author's daily writing volume is actually unstable.

With competition, writing ten thousand words a day is not much. Without competition, lacking that drive, writing six thousand words a day is not little.

However, if I don't compete, I can definitely have an extra chapter in reserve every two to three days.

What to do is up to you.

...

I have made many mistakes in the past. I am seeking redemption, but I don't believe in God. I hope this will be a new beginning, and I won't make 100% promises.

Because I am afraid.
