"Then, are you a adventurer, miss?"

"Yeah."

"I could have gone to work at a noble's mansion, but Miss Rea said she didn't want to... So I'm adventuring with my older brother Leo. I think we're D-rank now."

"Being D-rank in a year is impressive."

"Leo taught me, and Roro can make potions too!"

"Oh, you really are a clever one."

"When there are herbs, Roro can make potions."

"Younger brother Nico is good at growing herbs."

"Herbs for an adventurer! Roro's brothers are amazing!"

"Hehe."

I feel so happy when someone praises my sister or brother more than me. I get a bit embarrassed.

"I'll see you at the bazaar. I'm looking forward to it."

With that, the countess and the young master left.

"Roro, shall we go shopping?"

"Is there meat today?"

"Oh, that's right. Then we can make do with vegetables from the field."

"Okay."

We chatted idly as we headed home. When we got home and started preparing dinner with Marie, Nico and Yuria came back. They brought back a large basket full of vegetables. Lucky us. The soup will be hearty.

"We got lots of vegetables!"

"Grandma is hungry."

"Oh, you didn't have your cookies?"

"Oh, I forgot!"

"Marie, can I have a few cookies?"

"Yes, but don't eat so many that you can't eat dinner!"

"Okay, I understand! Yuria, let's eat!"

"Okay."

Nico is lively. Today, he and Yuria aren't arguing.

Sometimes they come back arguing. It's hard to tell if these two get along well or not.

"We're home! We have meat!"

"We're home."

Rea and Leo came back with a lot of meat. Super lucky.

"Woof"

"Pika, welcome back"

"Woof"

Pika rubs against me. I hug Pika's neck. She's so cute.

"Roro, there's meat after all!"

"Yeah."

While eating dinner, we talk about the day. Marie mentioned she went to the church.

"Huh, a bazaar. Are you selling cookies, Roro?"

"Yeah, and handkerchiefs too."

"You're good at embroidery, so they'll definitely sell."

"Yeah, I was asked to."

"I met the lord's wife at the orphanage."

"Really?"

"Big sister, do you know the lord's name?"

"What, Leo. I know that... What was it again?"

"Oh, it's Count Vogel."

"Right, right, Marie. That's right."

"Big sister, you didn't know, did you?"

"No, I do. Look, the lord is a client in the guild's quests. I remember from that."

"Oh, I see."

Is that so? The lord gives quests to the guild?

"When there are many monsters, it's a quest to defeat them, or cleaning the city for low-rank adventurers. There are various kinds."

"Wow~"

"I'll register when I turn 10!"

"Nico, it would be more helpful if you grew herbs."

"Right, it would be great if you made potions from Nico's herbs."

"Ah, I want to be an adventurer too!"

"But the vegetables and herbs you grow are impressive, Nico?"

"I'll do both!"

An adventurer, huh. I wonder about me. I don't think I can use swords or spears.

"Roro, making potions is good. They sell well."

"Really?"

"Yeah, that's right."

"Roro can do embroidery too."

"Uu~ I'm so frustrated."

Pika is eating the meat at my feet, saying "woof woof."

We eat dinner while chatting. I really like this peaceful daily life.

Even though my parents are gone and we're no longer nobles, I have Rea, Leo, and Nico. I have Pika. I have the Marie family.

So I'm not lonely. Because the real me is already an adult. So it's okay.

◇◇◇

"Uuuu~n... Uu, uu, uuuu~n!"

I hear crying in the middle of the night. Who's crying? Poor thing, what's wrong?

I was dozing off, thinking about it.

"Kuu~n"

Pika, what's wrong? I'm sleepy.

"Roro, Roro. It's okay. Big brother is here with you."

"Boo... Le, Leo... Uuuu~n"

It was my crying. I was crying.

My older brother Leo, who sleeps with me, gently holds me. He strokes my back and head, pats me, and keeps saying "It's okay" in a gentle voice.

Pika is worried and rubs against me.

Still, I couldn't stop crying right away.

My feelings overflow inside me. They fill up and sometimes spill over, making me feel helpless. I'm lonely. I'm sad. I want to see them. I want to be hugged. I don't know what to do.

"Roro, it's okay. Roro, big brother is here with you."

"Leo... I, I'm s, sorry... Hic"

"You don't need to apologize. It's okay to be more dependent. It's okay."

I'm still 3 years old. Even though my adult soul is in this body, I'm still 3 years old.

It's been a year since my parents passed away. During that time, I've cried in my sleep many times.
