"Hey, I want an autograph too! Over here!" Hyori called out, waving her hand high.

At this moment, a man with a bag and glasses walked past Hyori on purpose.

"Oh, there's a familiar sports journalist, over there, over there, he just walked by." Hyori pointed out to Bae Yun.

Bae Yun turned to look at the person Hyori mentioned, "He probably saw you and came to confirm if it's really you. I wonder what kind of report will come out... 'Lee Hyori comes to watch LG's game' or something like that."

Seeing the journalist, Hyori's good mood turned a bit gloomy.

Lee Shin-haeng patted Hyori's hand and comforted her, "Don't think about it, just enjoy the game."

After a while, Bae Yun's husband arrived. Lee Shin-haeng quickly greeted him, "Brother, over here, over here." The two women were chatting non-stop, and he was bored. Now, finally, he had someone to talk to.

At 6:59, the national anthem played, and everyone stood up. After Kim Yeon-ae threw the first pitch, the baseball game officially began.

The game was quite exciting. After the game, Lee Shin-haeng invited everyone to his restaurant for a meal, as it was rare for them to gather like this.

However, that night, negative reports about Hyori at the baseball field appeared online.

"Lee Hyori [First Pitch] Pushed Down by Kim Yeon-ae"

" Singer Lee Hyori's Request to Throw the First Pitch Rejected by LG"

"LG Opening Game: Yeon-ae Can, Hyori Can't"

"Lee Hyori's Humiliation" — the real report was twisted into "Hyori's Humiliation"

The next morning, around six, Hyori hadn't slept well all night, constantly dreaming. After waking up and lying in bed for a while, she got up and walked to the living room, sitting on the sofa and hugging her legs, thinking about the reports from the previous night. The more she thought, the sadder she became, and she couldn't help but cry. The camera in the living room truly captured the softer, vulnerable side of the usually strong Queen Lee Hyori.

Lee Shin-haeng didn't sleep well either, as Hyori had been talking in her sleep all night. When Hyori got up, he was already awake. Getting out of bed and opening the door, he heard Hyori's sad and aggrieved sobs, which felt like knives stabbing his heart, causing him intense pain.

"Sniff... sob... sniff... sob..." Hugging her legs, Hyori tried to suppress her sobs to avoid waking Lee Shin-haeng.

At this moment, a pair of strong, sturdy arms pulled her into a broad, solid chest.

"Cry, cry, it's okay, I'm here." Lee Shin-haeng held her, stroking her back to comfort her.

"Sob... sob... sob..." At this moment, Hyori couldn't hold back her grievances and tightly hugged him, crying out loud in his arms.

Seeing Hyori like this, Lee Shin-haeng was heartbroken and speechless, full of anger but unable to do anything, only able to hold her and let her cry out her frustrations.

The two of them stayed like this on the sofa for about two hours when a knock came at the door.

"The filming crew is here. Do you want to go back to your room first?" Lee Shin-haeng asked softly.

Hyori's face was swollen, and her eyes were puffy like walnuts.

"Oppa, open the door, I'm fine." Hyori replied with a heavy nose.

"I'll cook you some porridge later, okay?" He helped her tidy her hair and clothes.

"Okay..." Hyori replied listlessly.

Getting up, he pressed the button to open the front door and then walked to the door, his face not showing the usual gentle smile.

The VJ and the crew knew what had happened, otherwise, they wouldn't have been rushed over by the program director so early.

Walking up to Hyori, the VJ, holding the camera, asked with concern, "Did you cry? Are you okay?"

"Hehe... Did you see the news? Yesterday we went to the baseball field... Ugh, it's so annoying, really annoying. Why would they do this? I didn't sleep well all night and couldn't help but cry this morning, my eyes are all swollen. I was completely framed, 'pushed down by Kim Yeon-ae,' 'rejected for the first pitch,' the internet is full of these false reports." She wiped her eyes and said.

"Yesterday, I just wanted to go to the baseball game. I didn't know who was throwing the first pitch. A few days ago, my agent called and asked if I wanted to throw the first pitch, but I declined because I wasn't feeling well. Now they're saying I was 'rejected for the first pitch.' Ha, why do people have to twist the truth like this?"

"Would anyone believe me if I said this?" Hyori said sarcastically. "No, they wouldn't."

Five hours later, the internet was flooded with false and distorted reports about Hyori. With such an incident, Hyori couldn't go out to fulfill her schedule, so she stayed at home all day.

Lee Shin-haeng and Hyori decided to go to the Jeju Island villa for a few days to clear their minds. Instead of dealing with the chaos in Korea, it would be better to go out and take a break. Due to the malicious reports, the company agreed to let Hyori temporarily stop her activities and take a few days off.

That afternoon, the two packed some clothes and, wearing hats and masks, boarded the plane to Jeju Island.

The next morning, around 6:30, Lee Shin-haeng woke up, opened his eyes, and found himself in an unfamiliar setting.

Oh, right, they came to the Jeju Island villa last night. Lee Shin-haeng remembered after a moment of confusion.

Turning his head, he saw that Hyori was still asleep but with a frown and a worried look on her face.

Sighing silently, Lee Shin-haeng reached out and smoothed her frown.

Getting up, he washed up and changed into outdoor clothes. He was going to the market to buy breakfast and some ingredients, as the fridge was empty.

Walking down from the upstairs bedroom, he took a shopping bag and pushed his bicycle out the door.

"Ah, the air is so fresh and clean." He took a deep breath of the cold, fresh air and then rode his bike to the gate.

Looking at the empty courtyard, Lee Shin-haeng thought it would be a good idea to plant something, otherwise, it would be a waste of such a nice space.

Locking the gate, Lee Shin-haeng pedaled hard, and the bicycle sped forward. At this time, he could buy the freshest seafood, and he wanted to buy some good ingredients to nourish Hyori.

Parking his bicycle at the storage area, Lee Shin-haeng walked into the small market.

When it comes to traditional markets, the Dongmun Traditional Market in Jeju is a must-visit, known for its large scale and popularity among tourists.

Lee Shin-haeng thought about taking Hyori to the Dongmun Traditional Market the next day to clear their minds, which would be better than staying at home.

Smelling the aroma of stir-fried rice cakes in the market, Lee Shin-haeng felt hungry, so he went to a stall and bought a portion of rice cakes and a seaweed roll from an ajumma. It was cheaper than in Seoul and very delicious, with a generous portion.
