Chapter 5 of 10
Chapter 5
4 min read964 words
I realized I had returned to town.
The items I had, which were already few, were all gone.
Is this what they call a "loss"?
Even though it's a game, is it okay to take things from others?
I thought about messaging a friend to ask, but I felt embarrassed.
More importantly, I had no idea what to do.
A voice called out from behind.
"What are you doing?"
"Tomogara?"
A player wearing armor made of hard fur and carrying a large sword on his back was there.
He was part of the strategy group and the one who had invited me to this game.
"Still level 3? You're done for."
"Ugh."
Tomogara, looking exasperated, gave me some leftover materials.
There were Forest Wolves and materials I had never seen before; they would fetch a decent price if sold.
"Let's sell them at the item shop right away."
"Wait."
Just as I was about to turn to get my equipment ready, Tomogara grabbed my shoulder firmly. Do you have the "Grab" skill too?
"Well, when you hold a weapon, it's less likely to fall, so it's useful. But that's not the point. Since I gave you stuff you don't need, selling them at the item shop is stupid. There's a flea market, so sell them there."
"Why?"
"Well, since the game just started, there's a lot of trading of materials, so they fetch a high price at the flea market. Look, there are a lot of stalls set up."
Think about it. Tomogara looked exasperated.
Indeed, it seemed that a lot of trading was going on among players, and I wondered why I hadn't noticed it before.
"Also, there are guides for strategies, you know. Here, look at this."
A help window appeared in front of him. As he operated it, a series of boards like a web forum appeared.

Let's make detailed skill descriptions ☆1
1. Yuduki
This is a place to share the detailed growth of our skills. Let's also share the upper-level and derived skills.
I'm a magic user, so I'll start with Energy Ball.
The growth parameters are:
【Energy Ball】
- Power: Lv5/5
- Consumption: Lv5/5
- Proficiency: Lv5/5
- Speed: Lv5/5
If you put all the initial 5 points and level-up points, it maxes out around level 6.
From there, the four elemental skills of fire, water, wind, and earth branch out.
They appear from single-target to multi-target.
I want to master all the skills, but I'll probably focus on one.
2. Paniyo
Can we no longer continue with only first-level skills like in the beta?
Back then, it felt more like separate single-target skills rather than upper-level derivatives.
3. Gunst
Rather, shouldn't skill specialization not be included?
There's a category for upper-level skills.
4. Yuduki
Please share your skill details.
5. Senreki
Can't help it.
【Slash】
- Power: Lv5/5
- Consumption: Lv5/5
- Proficiency: Lv5/5
- Speed: Lv5/5
The parameters seem similar.
Will they differ later depending on the skill?
I'll focus on boosting them.
By the way, the derivatives of Slash are Strike, which has increased power, and Blast, which is an area attack.
6. Akashia
Focus on boosting.
It was a bit tough at the beginning, but skills that improve body movement make adventuring easier.
【Boost】
- Effect: Lv10/10
- Consumption: Lv5/5
- Proficiency: Lv5/5
The duration and ability enhancement are included in the effect parameter.
Other than that, if it's an initial skill, the parameters are fixed at 20, right?
---
157. Melon-chan
It seems all the initial skills are out.
At this stage, I don't really get it.
158. Ho Chi Minh
The main initial skill has 20 initial parameters,
and other sub-skills that can be bought at the item shop have 6 parameters.
They seem to have some effect just by taking them.
159. Laurent
Here are the parameters for a magic user who has taken Slash.
Looking at this, they are doubled.
Player Name: Laurent
Occupation: Apprentice Mage Lv3
Trust: 10
Remaining Skill Points: 0
◇ Skill Tree
【Slash】
- Power: Lv7/10
- Consumption: Lv1/10

- Accuracy: Lv2/10
- Distance: Lv2/10
- Weight: Lv2/10
- Incantation: Lv1/1

160. Yuduki
>>159
Thanks for the info.
What is Aport, by the way?
161. Ho Chi Minh
From what I can see, it doesn't seem to derive from anything.
162. Mister
I understand the initial skill Slash,
but Throw and Grab are also sold at the item shop.
The parameters for Aport are significantly different from the theory.
163. Melon-chan
Aport is a telekinetic ability to pull things, right?
Isn't it completely out of place with the game's setting?
164. Yuduki
Sorry, Laurent,
can you share your skill details?
---
"Ah, you messed up."
"Is it, is it bad?"
I was careless.
I thought it might be useful as a reference, so I posted the details of my skill tree, but I accidentally posted everything.
"Since the service just started, everyone is busy solving mysteries, so players with rare or mysterious items are targeted first by player killers."
In other words, I've made some bad enemies.
The player killers, those two.
"Actually, I was just killed at the entrance to the forest, and everything was taken."
"It's too late now."
"But I only had a large sword, some pebbles, and a wolf's skin, so it's fine."
I'll get back at them someday.
Hedge, Zark. I'll never forget their faces and names.
"Well, we need to be cautious. Let's go hunting, show me Aport."
Tomogara was also interested in Aport, so he handed over some equipment to a random merchant and then bought beginner's clothes and a robe from the item shop.
