After dinner, it was Park Min-ya and Yoo Ri who cleared the table together again.
"Min-ya, if you keep spoiling him like this, he'll become lazy!" Yoo Ri finally understood that what Park Min-ya said in the car earlier wasn't a joke; she really didn't let Park Ji-hoon do anything.
"It's fine!" Park Min-ya said with a smile, "Let him rest a bit."
"Ah—" Yoo Ri could only sigh helplessly. How could it be that with another girl around, Park Ji-hoon didn't even try to show off! He was so lazy, didn't he fear that she would tell Taeyeon and the others?
In the living room, Park Ji-hoon was slowly stretching his body. During the filming period, he had to maintain his physique and couldn't let it change.
After finishing the cleanup, Yoo Ri went to Park Min-ya's room to see what they would talk about.
"Yoo Ri-ssi, do you want to see my brother's room?" Park Min-ya suddenly asked when the conversation ended.
"Why would I go to his room?" Yoo Ri said with a mix of amusement and exasperation. Was she trying to set her up with Park Ji-hoon? After all, Park Ji-hoon and Taeyeon...
"I'm not thinking that!" Park Min-ya guessed her thoughts and said with a smile, "You'll see when you go in!" With that, she got up first.
Yoo Ri had no choice but to follow her out.
Park Ji-hoon was still stretching in the living room.
"Bro! I'm bringing Yoo Ri-ssi to see your room. There's nothing strange in there, right?" Park Min-ya asked with a grin.
"No!" Park Ji-hoon's face darkened, and he replied irritably.
Yoo Ri smiled secretly.
However, as soon as she entered the room, she was stunned.
It was very tidy, but it was likely that Park Min-ya had helped clean it. There was a bed, a desk, a chair, a cactus, a weeping fig, and a bookshelf that took up an entire wall!
Only then did she understand why Park Min-ya had brought her here—to let her see a more genuine side of Park Ji-hoon.
She couldn't help but walk to the bookshelf and run her fingertips over the books. Most of them were not new and had been read many times, and the majority were about film and television.
She picked one at random, flipped through it, and found it filled with notes and annotations.
Her surprise grew even more.
She put it back and picked another one, and it was the same!
Again, the same.
Her surprise gradually turned to shock! She changed over a dozen books from different shelves, and they all had the same person's notes.
So, there really was an artist in this world who loved reading more than Seohyun!
After being together for over two years, how had she never heard of this?
"Five years of accumulation!" Park Min-ya said with a hint of pride, "A little bit every day, and it adds up over time."
"Um." Yoo Ri responded softly, her movements and voice becoming gentle, as if she didn't want to disturb anything.
Suddenly, Park Ji-hoon's image in her mind grew much taller!
She had originally thought that her parents' suggestion for Park Ji-hoon to take care of her was a bit much, but now she believed it. In the entertainment industry, opportunities are very important. There are many talented artists who go unnoticed, especially actors, for whom choosing a good work is crucial! Just like in "Beggar to Prince," almost no one could deny Park Ji-hoon's acting skills, but the ratings were not high.
However, at this moment, she believed that Park Ji-hoon would eventually succeed!
Not encountering an opportunity for five years wasn't a big deal; actors weren't idols. The more they accumulated, the more explosive their success would be when it came—silence before the storm!
"He's currently practicing boxing and martial arts, filming movies, and also working as an assistant director. He participates in any event he's invited to..." Park Min-ya softly recounted Park Ji-hoon's recent efforts. Although Park Ji-hoon didn't care, she didn't want her friends to misunderstand his character.
"Assistant director?" Yoo Ri murmured in surprise.
"Being an assistant director isn't that impressive, it's not much different from being a director's assistant. You do all sorts of things, follow the director's commands, and align with the director's intentions..." Park Min-ya mimicked and then added, "That's what my brother says!"
Yoo Ri couldn't help but smile slightly after hearing this.
In her mind, Park Ji-hoon's image became even more vivid.
No wonder Park Min-ya was so good to him!
"You two, haven't you seen enough yet?" At that moment, Park Ji-hoon returned to the room and asked the two of them.
Yoo Ri didn't say anything, but her gaze had changed when she looked at him again.
"Bro, do you want to read a book?" Park Min-ya asked.
"Not in a hurry." Park Ji-hoon said with a faint smile, "But, isn't it a bit inappropriate for two girls to be touring a man's room like this?"
"What's inappropriate? I clean your room, don't I?" Park Min-ya countered.
"Then go ahead." Park Ji-hoon smiled helplessly and said, "Do you need me to introduce anything?"
"Is this the couple's cup you bought with Seohyun?" Yoo Ri's eyes shifted to a delicate cup on the desk.
"Um." Park Ji-hoon responded indifferently.
Yoo Ri pressed her lips together, wanting to ask about his relationship with Taeyeon but decided against it after some thought.
"Alright, we won't bother you anymore!" Park Min-ya said to Park Ji-hoon when she saw that Yoo Ri wasn't speaking.
As she passed by, Park Ji-hoon gently ruffled her hair.
"Yoo Ri-ssi, go take a shower. My brother is very well-behaved!" Back in the living room, Park Min-ya said to Yoo Ri. She had come back today specifically to drop them off; she could have returned the next day. So, she had invited Yoo Ri to stay overnight.
Yoo Ri looked at her helplessly; the last part didn't need to be said.
After both of them had showered, Park Min-ya went to notify Park Ji-hoon.
There was no need for the boys to be so cautious. Yoo Ri was watching TV in the living room, and Park Min-ya had gone off to do something. A while later, she saw her carrying a few pieces of clothing out of Park Ji-hoon's room.
Underwear, pants, socks, and one more piece, which was probably a bra.
She blinked in surprise.
She really spoiled Park Ji-hoon to the extreme!
Suddenly, she wondered if Park Ji-hoon's rejection of Taeyeon's reconciliation request was because of her. After all, being pampered by such a beautiful and talented girl would raise one's standards for a girlfriend.
Park Min-ya put the clothes in the washing machine, set it, and then returned to the living room to make three glasses of juice.
"Thank you." Yoo Ri took the juice from her and suddenly felt a bit inferior.
Park Min-ya smiled slightly.
"Do you take care of Ji-hoon-ssi every day like this?" Yoo Ri asked after taking a few sips of juice, unable to resist.
"Yes!" Park Min-ya nodded and said, "I have more free time, so naturally, I take care of him."
"You two have such a good relationship!" Yoo Ri sighed.
"Um!" Park Min-ya clearly enjoyed hearing this, her eyes narrowing in a smile, "When we were young, it was always my brother who took care of me!"
Yoo Ri fell silent. Their childhood wasn't easy, and it wasn't appropriate to ask too many questions.
"How is your life usually, Yoo Ri-ssi?" Park Min-ya asked curiously.
"Tiring!" Yoo Ri summarized with a single word.
The two of them got along well and continued chatting until Park Ji-hoon finished his shower.
"Bro! There's juice here." Park Min-ya turned to tell Park Ji-hoon.
"Um." Park Ji-hoon responded, came to the coffee table, picked up the glass, drank it in one go, and then said to the two of them, "I have to shoot early tomorrow, so I'm going to sleep. You two should rest early too."
"Good night, oppa." Yoo Ri and Park Min-ya said in unison.
"Make yourself at home, no need to be formal." Park Ji-hoon added to Yoo Ri before turning to go back to his bedroom.
"Do you not need to dry your hair?" Yoo Ri pointed to his wet hair and reminded him.
"No need." Park Ji-hoon waved his hand with a smile.
"He reads a book in bed every night before sleeping, which helps dry his hair." Park Min-ya explained.
"Ah." Yoo Ri's eyes flashed with admiration again.
The more she learned, the more she discovered that Park Ji-hoon had so many excellent qualities! He was no less impressive than their maknae.
"Alright! Yoo Ri-ssi, let's rest early too." Park Min-ya got up and said.
Yoo Ri nodded and returned to her room.
As an artist, she rarely got enough sleep. Perhaps because she had made a new friend, she slept soundly even in a strange environment and on a strange bed.
She opened her eyes to check the time when she heard some noise in the living room.
It was just 5:00 AM!
However, since the host was already up, it didn't seem right for her to keep sleeping, so she got up, dressed, and went to the living room.
"Sorry, did I wake you up?" As soon as she stepped out, she saw Park Ji-hoon, who had already finished washing up and had his hair neatly combed.
"I usually wake up at this time anyway." Yoo Ri said, her face slightly flushed. Although she wasn't as sleepy as Jessica, if she had the time, she wouldn't wake up early in the morning.
"Um." Park Ji-hoon nodded and called out to the kitchen, "Min-ya, make one more portion, Yoo Ri is up."
"Got it!" Park Min-ya's cheerful voice replied.
"That's too much trouble." Yoo Ri bowed slightly in thanks.
Park Ji-hoon smiled and considerately turned back to his room.
Yoo Ri was stunned for a moment before realizing that after washing up, she had specially gone to knock on his door to wake him up.
A simple breakfast, but it was still delicious! Yoo Ri felt that if she lived with them for a month, she would definitely gain a lot of weight.
Of course, it was just a thought. After this, she wouldn't feel comfortable coming over to visit again.
When Park Ji-hoon left, she discovered another new skill of Park Min-ya—Park Ji-hoon's necklaces, scarves, and gloves were all handmade by her!
"Does Min-ya not have a boyfriend?" After Park Ji-hoon left, Yoo Ri couldn't help but ask Park Min-ya.
