In a word, the appearance of the heartthrob wearing a mask with his hands in pockets had become a new trend on campus. Everywhere I could see a group of short and ugly people wearing long trench coats and black masks. Those who didn’t know would think our university was distributing gangsters. When all of them came out in a row, it scared the students from the neighboring university until they climbed the wall to watch us vigilantly.

I waited torturously for the rashes on the heartthrob’s face to subside and felt relieved to touch his smooth and fair complexion. There’s trepidation remaining in my heart after this.

He suddenly tugged on my hand with such force that I hissed and thought he was going to beat me up.

“Lao San.” I heard him say, “Have you calmed down yet? Will you stop avoiding me from now on?”

The way the heartthrob looked at me was like an iceberg melting. I was stunned, not understanding what he meant by that. But still, I quickly reacted and patted him on the shoulder, “Sure, it’s all a misunderstanding. We’ll be good brothers from now on.”

The heartthrob stared at me with a distinctive look. I felt that he really wanted to say something else. But in the end, he stayed quiet with a grumpy face.
