Chapter 149
Henry left the infirmary the very next day, unscathed.
The instructor urged Henry to rest a little longer, but he wouldn’t listen.
His face was still scarred and his back was bandaged diagonally.
Filina went to the academy’s office early in the morning and asked Lawrence to allow her to go out with Henry.
In fact, he had to come and show his face in person to use the ticket, but knowing that Henry was sick, Philina gave him special permission alone.
She said in a nonchalant voice that Henry had agreed to go to a large hospital for a quick examination, so she agreed to use her outing pass.
He was warned by the Duke of Argeny not to let him out, but Lawrence pretended not to know. He knew Henry had been unwell even before he was injured.
When Philina walked out of the Oval Office, she found Henry standing in a neat suit. She said, glancing at him in bewilderment.
“Did you make up everything for the tardy subject?”
Philina laughed at his embarrassment.
I set up a date with her, and Henry overslept.
When Philina knocked on his door, Henry greeted her with a look of great embarrassment. He also looks like he just woke up.
Of course, his face was so striking that his frizzy appearance wasn’t too bad.
Henry always trained early in the morning, so he always woke up early in the morning. It made it all the more embarrassing that I had overslept.
Philina looked at me with a look of joy, and Henry was still muttering in a small voice of embarrassment.
‘…… I was so nervous that I couldn’t sleep.’
He looked so confused that it was difficult to nag him about anything.
Finally, with a small sigh, Filina walked away, saying that she would be allowed to go to the Oval Office first, so she should prepare slowly and come out.
And now, Henry stood outside the Oval Office, looking neat. I can admire when he did this, and he was perfect.
She remembered that when she had gone out with Henry before, she was worried about how she was dressed, so this time Filina had combed her hair neatly and was wearing the dress that Laura had taken care of her.
But what she cared about was not even the axis of preparation compared to Henry’s appearance.
She asked, tilting her head in bewilderment.
“How the hell did you manage to do this in such a short period of time?”
It didn’t take long for Filina to leave her dorm and be allowed out of the Oval Office.
Henry replied, rolling his gaze awkwardly.
“…… I hurried as much as I could. It didn’t take much time to think about what I was going to wear yesterday.”
Seeing as he dared to talk about clothes, he seemed to be quite careful about his outfit.
Perhaps, the clothes he wore today played a part in Henry’s lack of sleep until late yesterday.
I thought for a long time about what to wear, and it was finally the one I chose.
Henry smiled sweetly and held out his hand to her.
“Let’s go, then. Sir Debussy.”
Filina kept her mouth shut and looked at his outstretched hand. I could feel the cadets’ eyes glancing at me and Henry around me.
If you join hands with him in such an open place, word will quickly spread in the swordsmanship academy.
Staring silently at Henry’s hand, she carefully raised her own. Then his elongated fingers clasped her hand without a break.
He slowly turned and began to take steps. Hand in hand with Henry, she naturally walked as well.
I saw a cadet passing by them look surprised at the two of them, but he didn’t care.
I was just glad it was sunny.

Henry found a restaurant where he had previously tried to come with her.
It was to make up for the plan that went awry that day.
The place he served was definitely luxurious inside, and the food tasted very good. The expensive dishes were set in order, and even the desserts that came out for dessert were perfect.
Henry looked quite satisfied. His eyes were folded as smoothly as he stared at her.
“How did you put up with not being able to bring him here all this time?”
Filina asked, smiling softly. Henry’s reaction was quite amusing.
“Sir Debussy and I were trying to find this place again somehow.”
“Did you think I’d go out with you again?”
“…… No, but even if you say no, Sir Debussy has to listen to me.”
He said that he was in a position where he had to do what he wanted.
Filina muttered, pursing her lips.
“How long are you going to use it as you please?”
In fact, it was funny to ask. Henry hadn’t done anything to get him in trouble so far.
“Until Sir Debussy stopped hating me.”
At the habitual words, Filina frowned.
“You said you didn’t want to do it anymore.”
At her words, Henry asked, tilting his head at an angle.
“So…, do you like me?”
“What?”
“Have you liked me enough to make your dislike for me disappear all at once?”
At his blunt question, Filina couldn’t open her mouth. He just looked at Henry with a puzzled face. Then he turned his head and muttered:
“Somebody likes you. Nonsense…….”
“Why doesn’t that make sense? Just as I like Sir Debussy, Sir Debussy may have come to like me.”
It was a voice that came so naturally.
As if it were just a matter of course that Henry liked her.
Filina stared at him with wide-open eyes. Henry, who had been staring at her quietly, smiled gracefully and whispered:
“I like you, Sir Debussy.”
His voice was excessively clear.
She couldn’t manage her facial expressions. My heart was pounding fast.
A sigh slipped from her lips.
“I’ve made that confession now…”
Filina couldn’t finish her speech, so she kept her mouth shut. Henry, too, resumed his meal, as if he hadn’t said anything hoping for an answer.
But Filina dropped her gaze and clenched her fists.
Now he has to go back to where he came from, but he was confused about what kind of answer he was hoping for and confessing to me.
No, actually, Henry’s feelings didn’t matter.
It wasn’t Henry’s fault that he was so distressed.
Filina looked up at him. Immediately, Henry’s purple eyes met her.
The corners of his mouth curled up pretty.
She felt like she could no longer ignore the tingling pain in her chest.

Back at the Swordsmanship Academy with Henry, Filina stiffened her expression at the familiar face standing in front of her dorm.
It was Ian Alvar, who seemed to be waiting for her with my escort driver.
He looked alternately at Philina and Henry with a bloody expression. Then, for the last time, he ran a look at the hands they were clasped together.
As they stepped out of the carriage, Henry took Philina’s hand, and she was happy to see her all the way to the swordsmanship academy.
He deliberately didn’t let go, and Philina didn’t let go of Henry.
Ian strode over and roughly dropped the hand they had held.
“Oh.”
Philina groaned low and grabbed her hand. Ian had let go so hard that he had scratched the back of his hand.
“Are you all right, Lord Debussy.”
Henry urgently took my hand. It was the moment when Ian’s own separation was overshadowed.
Ian growled fiercely at Henry, who examined Philina’s hand.
“What are you doing in front of me right now? What do I look like in the eyes of Argeny?”
Then Henry let go of her hand and bowed to Ian.
“I see His Royal Highness the Prince.”
In spite of his sophisticated voice, Ian murmured in a low voice, his face unrelieved.
“I don’t know how the swordsmanship academy trains the substitute cadets.”
Then his gaze shifted to Philina.
“Where are you two going?”
“I’ve been allowed to go out by the deputy general manager, and I’m on my way back after going outside for a while.”
Ian’s eyes lit up sharply at the sound of her voice.
“Did you just go out with the two of you?”
He gritted his teeth and muttered to himself.
“How dare anyone do as they please……”
Ian’s beautiful gold eyes glistened fiercely with jealousy. At first glance, his expression looked so mad that it gave him goosebumps.
“We are not part of the imperial family, but of the Swordsmanship Academy. So I need the permission of Deputy Commander-in-Chief Lawrence, not the permission of His Royal Highness.”
Filina blurted out. The more Ian couldn’t control his emotions, the more decisive he had to become.
There was a chill in Ian’s eyes as he looked at her. It harbored an awful darkness.
It was even more violent than usual.
Perhaps his defeat in the Cohen Wars and his haste to get engaged to Cecilia in order to restore his tarnished image touched his heart.
In the meantime, it was just ridiculous that he had come to the swordsmanship academy to see me.
She went in and out of the palace’s gardens every day, but Ian didn’t show a single snort, so he must be very busy right now.
“Your Highness. You seem to be in a bad mood, why don’t you go back to the Imperial Palace and rest?”
At Philina’s words, Ian snorted, dumbfounded.
“It’s unbelievable. I came here for a period of time that I didn’t have, and they were going to throw me out right away.”
He said, glaring at Henry.
“Does that mean you don’t have any time to see me because you’re meeting with Argeny?”
Filina let out a small sigh, her expression contorted.
At that moment, the escort driver approached Ian’s side and whispered something in his ear.
“…… Bloody hell. It doesn’t give me any breathing momentum.”
Ian uttered a low expletive, then turned to Philina.
“I’ll be back tomorrow. I’ve been out with Argeny, so it’s not going to be time for me to take it out either.”
“What do you mean by that?”
Philina asked, looking incomprehensible, and Ian turned halfway around and pulled his lips apart.
“Tomorrow you’re going out with me. So take care of yourself.”
Having said that, Ian walked away with his escort.
Filina stared at his back with a blank expression.
Under the scorching sun, a cool breeze brushed through her hair.
