Like a kitten’s mouth…

Kitten’s mouth…

Kitten.

Xia Yuzhou became silly. This was the first time he heard people say that about his bloodfangs. He took out his small steamed meat filled buns, bit off half the bun and chewed it before he could find his voice, “You sure can talk.”

The students entered the classroom one after another.

As it was the first class in the morning of the college, many students had a habit of bringing their breakfast to eat before the class began. There were also those who had big guts to eat while listening to the Professor. However, this sort of situation does not exist in “Iron Lord Gong’s” class. You must eat your breakfast thoroughly, with your desk wiped clean and the packaging bag thrown out before the class bell rings.

Suddenly, a guy ran in panic and tripped over the doorstep.

“Ah, ahh!” The guy’s arms were flapping fast, spinning in the air like a propeller. He managed to stabilize his body but the soy milk in his hand flew out to the seated students.

“Ah!—” The girls in the front row screamed and hugged their heads. While the soymilk cup wrapped in a plastic bag went straight to Xia Yuzhou’s face.

With a bun in his mouth, he picked up a ballpoint pen on the table with one hand, spun it in his hand and accurately stuck it to the handle of the plastic bag. At the same time, a gloved hand held the bottom of the soymilk cup.

Xia Yuzhou released the ballpoint pen and whistled to Si Jun, “Cool.”

The series of actions were done in a flash, and the people around them didn’t manage to see the whole stunts, they only saw that it was Si Jun who caught the soymilk. “Wow! So cool! Worthy to be the School Heartthrob!”

The trip and fall guy ran red-faced over to them, “I’m sorry. I’m really sorry.”1

Xia Yuzhou returned the soymilk to him and said,“Hey man, just now that three pointer shot was ace.”

“Hahaha…” The students in the classroom burst into laughter.

It was quite shameful for a big man to tumble but when he said it like that, all his embarrassment vanished instantly. The guy also laughed and sat down beside Xia Yuzho, then said, “My name is Cai Chengbi, a sophomore in clinical… huh? Si Jun, it’s rare that you ate breakfast.”

Classmate Cai said halfway when he saw the steamed bun on the table. He was surprised to see Si Jun calmly taking off his gloves and arranging his textbooks to the side.

“You two know each other?” Xia Yuzhou had a nagging feeling that this classmate’s name was seemingly familiar.

“Well, we’re in the same class. Do you two eat pickles? I got it at the breakfast shop. These shredded pickles are really delicious/good.” Cai Chengbi enthusiastically took out another small plastic bag of pickles.

Si Jun shook his head, indicating his refusal.

“You didn’t have breakfast yet?” Xia Yuzhou asked him in a low voice.

Si Jun paused then showed him the empty packaging box and said, “I’ve eaten.” A small empty milk carton was flattened and folded that was wrapped in a paper envelope.

“How could milk be enough to fill an empty stomach? Here, have a steamed bun.” Xia Yuzhou did not wait for his answer. He picked up a small steamed bun and on his table and stuffed it into Si Jun’s hand.

Si Jun looked at him, then at the still hot meat filled steamed bun on his hand, and pursed his lips slightly.

”

”

“It turned out to be you, big brother!” Classmate Cai saw Xia Yuzhou’s name on his textbook and his eyes lit up in surprise.

“Huh?”

“You’re Zhou Shu’s brother, right? Tree God’s big brother is my brother too!” He said, and offered Xia Yuzhou his pickles more enthusiastically, he even tried to dedicate his own tea eggs.

“Oh! So you are that noob…cough, fellow classmate!”2

“That’s right I’m that noob player.3 Hahaha!” Classmate Cai didn’t care about his nickname at all, and he even took a few sips of soymilk in contentment.

The two were chatting happily when Si Jun suddenly stood up. Before Xia Yuzhou could react, he had already ran out of the classroom straight to the bathroom.

Xia Yuzhou was startled and quickly followed after him to take a look.

When he arrived at the bathroom, he saw that Si Jun vomited. He gargled for a while while he gripped the edge of the sink before taking out a handkerchief from his pocket and wiped his mouth.

“What’s the matter?” Xia Yuzhou walked over and tilted his head as he observed him more closely.

“There is garlic in the bun.” Si Jun seems very uncomfortable by the looks of it. His eyes were even misted with tears from the reflex…

It was also the first time Xia Yuzhou noticed that this man’s eyes were dark blue, like a washed out midsummer night sky. It was so beautiful that he couldn’t take his eyes off.

“You can’t eat garlic?” This was the first time for Xia Yuzhou to see someone have such a sensitive reaction to garlic. It’s not that he didn’t like it, but that he couldn’t eat it and will throw up if he even took a bite.

As an apology, Xia Yuzhou brought him a bottle of yogurt from the vending machine. He directly stuffed it in Si Jun’s hands just as the bell rang and directly ran to the class while pulling his wrist, leaving him no time to refuse it.

The two of them just sat down in a fluster when the Professor stepped into the classroom and gave them glare. When he reached his desk, he slowly took out the attendance sheet.

“Iron Lord Gong” is indeed worthy of his reputation. There’s no chit chat and he directly started the roll call. When you’re called, you have to stand up to let the Professor recognize your face. When all forty-four students were called, he basically remembered each of them. It’s simply terrifying.

“The passing score of this class is 50%, that is 50 points. 10 points will be deducted if you miss one class. 20 points deduction if one homework is not submitted on time.”

There were sounds of exclamations that rang in the classroom. The passing score would usually not account for more than 40%, that is to leave some room for those high achievers who don’t usually attend classes. So 50 points is definitely not enough, because if you miss the class for a certain number of times, you would automatically drop out of the subject even if you haven’t taken the final exam.

The iron-like4 Professor was satisfied with the quiet and meek appearance5 of the students. Then he proceeded to turn on the multi-media to start the class.

Most of the content for the first class of every elective course is all about the introduction significance of the subject, there’s nothing much to remember. Xia Yuzhou quickly took advantage of the time when the Professor was fiddling with his laptop to quickly eat the remaining steamed buns . After eating his fill, he began to feel sleepy.

He had a hypersomniac6 constitution. He has to sleep for more than ten hours a day, so he rarely chooses the first class in the morning.

“Reproductive medicine has made outstanding contributions to human reproduction…”

The Professor’s voice drifted farther and further away. Various human organs, babies, cells, and paramecium7 fought in front of him as he unconsciously fell asleep.

“Xia Yuzhou, stand up and answer this.” The voice was like a big gong that instantly pulled him back from the quagmire of paramecium.
