“Reproductive medicine in connection to your major…” Noob1 lowered his head and reminded him in a low voice..

“You’re the only one who studies dental medicine here. Then let’s talk about it,” The Professor crossed his arms and raised his chin to signal him to start talking.

The bewildered Xia Yuzhou stood up while wiping the drool on his face and said, “The usefulness of reproductive medicine for dental medicine lies in that the oral cavity is also a reproductive organ.”

“Pfft!” Someone couldn’t control their laughter, but aside from that outburst, it was suppressed just in time.

Iron Lord Gong incredulously leaned forward, “What do you mean about the mouth as a reproductive organ?”

Xia Yuzhou was instantly wide awake and gave a dry cough, “Well, medically, it’s not classified as such but it can be considered in ethics. After all, people will have to kiss before they can do something else. Therefore, when I open a dental clinic in the future, I can use this knowledge of reproductive medicine to persuade my patients to take care of their teeth. Which is beneficial to the reproduction of offspring.”

“Pfft, pfft… Hahahahaha!”

At first, the students were merely bowing their heads while hiding their smile, with some trying to control their laughter. A few outburst would leak from now and then but it will soon be covered up. Only at this time did they finally lose it, and uncontrollable laughter burst out of the class. The thunderous howling spread all over the entire hall, causing the idler students in the next classroom to crane their neck to the room to watch the excitement.

Iron Lord Gong transformed into a black faced Lord Gong. He pointed a shaking finger to Xia Yuzhou and gritted, “You, next week, submit a report of no less than 10,000 words to elaborate in detail what oral cavity is! Or else your score in this semester will be zero!”2

“Good Prof!”

Noob sneakily gave him a thumbs up, “Awesome my brother. If you drop the course on the spot today, you’ll definitely be written in the school of fame. The future generations will pay their respect to you.”

Xia Yuzhou squinted at him and replied, “I can’t afford this honor. Should I give it to you?”

Noob Cai shook his head like a rattle-drum and said, “No, no. I’m not worthy.”

When the class was finally over, he saw Si Jun organizing his things, and the 10,000 word report was thrown in the back of his head as he gleefully watched him. With one hand propping his head, he wanted to see how this guy in a suit, leather shoes and a bow tie would carry that box of spray back.

Si Jun unhurriedly packed his textbooks. He took off his bow tie, and neatly folded them up then put it in his pocket.

“Why did you take it off?” Xia Yuzhou thought this man would wear it all the time.

Si Jun frowned slightly, seemingly reluctant to answer but still explained out of courtesy, “Class is a formal occasion whereas after class is not.”

He stood up, wore his gloves, while he hung his coat and the handle of a black long umbrella on his arm. Then he easily picked up the box of sprays with one hand.

“Brother Xia, I still have a class so I’m leaving first.” Classmate Cai said his farewell and speedily slipped away, for fear that Xia Yuzhou might seize him to share the burden of the paper.

Si Jun and Xia Yuzhou both have no class for the next period, so they ended up walking outside the hall together. It’s a fine day today with the sun shining bright outside. Xia Yuzhou wore his face mask at the exit gate of the building, put on his hat and buckled his hoodie, exposing only a pair of eyes.

“Where are you going?” Si Jin quietly watched him cover up before he asked.

“To the Activity Center.” The Cultural Festival is about to begin and yet he still hasn’t completed his sword dance program. He needed to seize the time to practice.

The school especially built this building exactly for student activity purposes. There are sports hall, piano room, dance room, conference tables, and coffee shops. This is the most frequented place by students besides the classroom and the dormitories.

“May I buy you a cup of tea?” Si Jun very naturally offered. To Xia Yuzhou’s shocked eyes, he added, “To thank you for helping me receive the prize.”

“Oh.” The corners of Xia Yuzhou’s mouth twitched. This man really speaks like a medieval aristocrat just like his brother said. The simple matter of asking a classmate for a treat drink turned into a dating invitation in his mouth. It was strange.

Si Jun handed over his arm with the umbrella and coat.

“What are you doing?” Xia Yuzhou was confused.

“Help me hold the umbrella.”

“……”

“I’m allergic to ultraviolet rays and cannot be in direct contact with the sun.”

Xia Yuzhou didn’t know why he agreed. He held up the big black umbrella to cover them against the poisonous sun, and walked side by side in the campus with Si Jun holding the cardboard box.

That evening in the BBS forum of Medical University, a popular post appeared with a title that soon become headline news: 【Xia Yuzhou’s brilliance is no more with his defeat, reduced to be the School Heartthrob’s umbrella boy!】3

“Hah?” Xia Yuzhou laughed angrily at the title.

He clicked it. Inside the thread is a back photo of the two of them.

【Song From a Fisherman’s Boat at Sunset (Me): We’re just using the same umbrella together. How did I become the attendant?】4

【Aijun:5 Look up closer. Si Jun is taller than Xia Yuzhou. Normally, when two people walk under the same person, the taller one would be the one holding. But if the short one is holding it, they would be the bodyguard or attendant.】

【Zhou Is The Most Handsome:6 Wuwuwu. I blame you all. It’s because you didn’t vote for Zhouzhou that he was bullied by Si Jun. 】

No, that’s just the Best School Heartthrob Competition. It’s not a fight for the succession of the throne,7 why do you guys overreact?

Xia Yuzhou couldn’t understand the train of thought of these people. He rolled up his sleeves in preparation for his fight against the idlers on the forum. He was ready for 300 rounds8 when his mobile suddenly rang. The caller ID displayed an “Art Troupe Leader.”

The leader’s excited voice rang from the other side, “Yuzhou! So you know clinical [Si] Jun!”9

Xia Yuzhou replied, “We just got acquainted. What happened?”

The leader of the troupe can’t wait to add five exclamation marks in his sentence, “You! Go! Go and invite him to our cultural festival! Ask him to play the piano!”

Xia Yuzhou said, “Huh? Isn’t there someone in our group who plays the piano? I can do it if he really can’t make it. Why look for Si Jun?”

The team leader hated the iron for not becoming steel10 and stomped his foot where he stood, “Do you know who he is? He played the piano when he was young, and won the International Children’s Award at the age of eight years old. I heard that he’s preparing for next year’s Masters. If he wins that, he’ll be a world-class piano master! If you can invite him to play the piano, this festival will be a big hit among the entire universities and colleges in the capital!”

Xia Yuzhou smacked his lips and said, “Aren’t you exaggerating? He hasn’t become a Master yet. Moreover, we’re not that familiar.”

Leader, “How come you’re unfamiliar? Didn’t you hold the umbrella for him?”

Xia Yuzhou, “…F*ck me!”
