After escorting Yi Huan to the headquarters, the forensic doctor on night duty also arrived, and the remaining tasks of examining the injuries were naturally taken care of by others, so Feilun didn't need to worry about it anymore.

Just before setting off for Cheung Sha Wan, Feilun suggested, "Inspector Song, your people should still bring their guns!"

Song Kui was taken aback and asked, "Is that necessary?" After all, their special task force never carried weapons unless in special circumstances.

Feilun pointed to the night outside the window and said, "It's very necessary!"

Song Kui thought for a moment, nodded in agreement, and instructed his subordinates, "Tell the guys to bring their weapons."

After getting ready, the group arrived at the garage. Song Kui said, "PI Fei, you and Madam will ride in the front car with me, and the rest will take the back car."

Feilun had no objections. The two cars set off one after the other from the headquarters.

Once on Connaught Road, Song Kui asked, "PI Fei, Cheung Sha Wan is so big, how do we find it?"

"Exactly!" Xie Yixin also chimed in, "They might have already loaded your car onto a ship and shipped it away."

Feilun glanced at them, a sly smile on his face, and took out his phone without a word.

In the year 2000, mobile phones were still quite primitive, with no camera or GPS functions. Feilun's phone looked old, but during his time in the United States, he had undergone special training with Blackwater Security Company, arranged by Abramov, and had them order some military equipment to modify his phone. As a result, Feilun's phone was fully functional, capable of recording, videoing, and tracking.

"What are you taking your phone out for?" Xie Yixin asked curiously.

"Of course, to track it!" Feilun replied with a faint smile. "That Ferrari, though not expensive, is a limited edition, so I installed a tracker on it after it arrived in Hong Kong, just in case some ignorant guy took it and I couldn't find it!"

Xie Bao Niu's eyes lit up as she leaned in close to Feilun's phone and asked, "How does this thing work?"

Feilun pointed to the red dot on the phone screen and said, "My Ferrari should be here, and the numbers above the red dot are the exact coordinates!"

Xie Yixin quickly took out the map in the car and searched by coordinates: "Found it, here, Cheung Sha Wan, Fa Run Building!"

Feilun pouted and said, "It's a hassle without Google; we have to match it with the map."

"What's Google?" Bao Niu asked, not understanding.

Feilun rolled his eyes and said, "You wouldn't understand even if I told you!"

At this moment, Song Kui, who had been silent, asked, "Younger Brother Fei, I have only one question: is your phone's tracking reliable?"

"Inspector Song, don't worry!" Feilun waved his hand. "My tracker is an old product from the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency from a couple of years ago, but it's absolutely reliable!"

Song Kui's eyes widened: "Is it... military-grade?"

Feilun nodded and said, "Yes, it's a high-performance, surface-mount type, so there's no need to worry."

Song Kui finally understood why Feilun insisted they bring their guns; he was confident they would find the Ferrari.

Xie Yixin, however, was puzzled and asked, "Feilun, why did you want to watch the surveillance footage earlier? Why not just track it directly?"

Feilun gave her a look and said, "Madam, use your brain, will you? If I could track it directly, why would I go through all that trouble?" Seeing that Xie Bao Niu was still confused, Feilun had to explain further: "To put it simply, with current technology, we can't miniaturize GPS reflectors, so they can't be integrated with the tracker. My phone has to search for the tracker and then locate it. Got it?"

Xie Bao Niu still shook her head, looking incredibly cute. If Song Kui weren't driving in the front, Feilun would have definitely kissed her on the cheek, but now he could only show a "defeated by you" expression and said, "Okay, I'll explain it even more simply. The tracker on the Ferrari has a range of about three kilometers. I actually searched for it in the garage earlier but didn't find it. So when the business manager said Cheng Honghui's company is in Cheung Sha Wan, I said, 'That's right,' because the straight-line distance from Central to Cheung Sha Wan is more than three kilometers."

Xie Yixin finally understood and patted him hard on the shoulder, complaining, "You should have said that earlier!"

Feilun muttered, "Show a little technical understanding, will you? That last explanation is for kindergarteners."

"Go to hell!"

When they arrived near Fa Run Building, Feilun and his group parked the car far away and approached quietly.

Looking at the dark building, Xie Yixin whispered, "Should we call for backup?"

Feilun glared at her and said, "Call for backup without knowing the situation? That's a waste of police resources!"

Song Kui also agreed with Feilun and said, "PI Fei, the incident was triggered by you. We are only seven people now, so you arrange it!"

Feilun said, "I've already studied the blueprint of Fa Run Building. The elevators inside are not sufficient to transport vehicles to the second floor or higher. Of course, it's possible they disassembled the car and moved it in pieces to the upper floors, but our target is the underground garage. Besides the main entrance, the garage has two side rear doors that can also be used for vehicle entry and exit. So, Inspector Song, have your four subordinates guard the two rear doors. If necessary, they can fire warning shots..."

"Fire warning shots? What do you mean?" one of the special task force members asked curiously.

"We are short on manpower. When you hear someone driving toward the rear door, fire a warning shot. If it's the car thief, they'll be nervous and think we've set a trap, so they'll turn back," Feilun explained. "Of course, some might see through this empty city strategy. In that case, don't fight hard; just let the car go."

"Let the car thief go? How can we do that!" Xie Bao Niu and a female special task force member with a face not much better than a pork chop said in unison.

"Rubbish!" Feilun scolded. "We have no intelligence or information tonight, and we don't know how many people are on the other side. The primary goal of our surprise attack is to ensure our own safety, understand?"

The female special task force member didn't hesitate and immediately answered, "Yes, Sir!"

Xie Bao Niu was somewhat resentful, and Song Kui, fearing she would argue with Feilun, quickly asked, "What about the three of us?"

Feilun said, "The three of us will go in through the main entrance. Is there anything else you need to know?"

Everyone except Xie Bao Niu nodded, indicating no further questions.

After synchronizing their watches, Song Kui's four subordinates immediately split into two groups and headed for the two rear doors of the underground garage.

Five minutes after they left, Feilun and the other two approached the main entrance of the garage.

Since Feilun was leading the way, the yellow-haired security guard in the gatehouse didn't have time to react before he was taken down.

Song Kui and Xie Yixin arrived shortly after and kicked the unconscious guard out of curiosity.

"Don't bother, I used a sedative; he won't wake up for an hour!" Feilun explained briefly, then fiddled with the surveillance system to freeze all the images before continuing forward.

When they reached the junction of the main entrance and the garage hall, they found the huge roller shutter door already down, leaving only a gap of less than half a meter from the ground. Faint light and voices could be heard from inside.

Xie Bao Niu immediately wanted to crawl in, but Feilun grabbed her and gestured for her and Song Kui to stay against the wall.

Feilun led the way, and the three of them stood in the corner. He took out his phone, squatted down, and took a series of photos through the gap in the roller shutter door, then pulled back. He then showed the photos to Xie Yixin and Song Kui, gesturing for them to crawl in and hide behind the right door corner, where there was a pile of goods.

Xie Yixin and Song Kui nodded in understanding. Feilun immediately dived forward, rolled smoothly into the roller shutter door, and the whole action was so fluid that it stunned both of them. When they crawled in, they were completely shocked.

Due to the angle Feilun had controlled, the photos taken by the phone showed only the ceiling and the goods on either side of the roller shutter door. Once inside, Xie Yixin and Song Kui realized that the entire garage hall was densely packed with no fewer than fifty luxury cars, and Feilun's Ferrari was parked near a large welding cutter. If they had arrived any later, the Ferrari would have been dismantled.

In the center of the hall, three cars were parked with their hoods touching, and five or six young thugs were sitting or standing on the hoods, listening to a guy in a leather suit with sunglasses who was standing on the roof of one of the cars, boasting.

"Once we take apart the parts from today's new batch of cars and reinforce my invincible battle car, I don't think anyone will be my match in next month's Macau Grand Prix!"

Feilun, who was secretly recording, was taken aback. He realized that the eight-month training as a probationary inspector had passed quickly, and it was now almost the end of the year 2000, the time for the Macau Grand Prix. It turned out these guys had a clear purpose for stealing cars!

After the leather-suited man finished his boasting, he asked one of his subordinates with multiple earrings in his left ear, "Shapi, how's the car market?"

The earringed man immediately replied, "Brother Billy, don't worry. The ship's captain has placed an order for as many four-wheel drive cars as we can provide. After you modify the car, you can sell the unused parts and make a good profit!"

Feilun, who had been recording, was waiting for this conversation. With the evidence in hand, he no longer hid, put his phone in his hidden ring, and rushed out like the wind: "Don't move, police!"

Song Kui and Xie Yixin were startled by Feilun's boldness and quickly followed.

The leather-suited man and the young thugs were taken aback and then scattered, trying to escape.

Although Feilun couldn't use his needle-throwing skills in front of Song Kui due to the Yi Huan incident, this place was almost a half-car modification factory, with nuts and bolts scattered everywhere. He kicked a few nuts, which flew accurately toward the backs and heads of the young thugs.

Two young thugs, in a panic, ran toward Feilun and the others. One was hit in the face by a nut, fell to the ground, and the other was caught by Xie Bao Niu and Song Kui.
