After the two people finished eating and got ready to return, their transportation device was still Sirius’s private sports car.

Sirius unlocked the car, opened the door, and beckoned to Nalun. The latter nodded his head in understanding and calmly sat into the driver’s seat.

The trip was as fast as lightning.

Every lawful citizen in the Empire would carry a personalized comp. It was both an agglomeration of many different functions and extremely portable tools, and also a method of identification.

The personal comp would let out a faint signal. When vehicles entered automatic mode, it would connect directly to the signal network and avoid any routes that would result in car accidents. Although it’s not 100% without error, it was already approaching perfection.

Therefore, even under the speed of a roller coaster charging downhill, they still arrived at the center of the Imperial Capital safe and sound.

The car stopped in front of Nalun’s home. In a rare moment, he praised sincerely: “The car’s not bad.”

Sirius got out of the car with him: “The food was very delicious as well.”

He walked around the front of the car to the driver’s seat and then entered again, starting the ignition.

The two people politely bid their farewells. Nalun watched as Sirius drove away slowly with the speed of a human carriage. Sirius very quickly became an insignificant trifle amongst the crowd and was completely forgotten to the back of Nalun’s head.

Not long after Sirius left, Diya’s message came through.

Looking at the words on the display, a thoughtful smile appeared in Sirius’s eyes.

–Still can’t find him.

Looks like this little liar, whose mouth was filled with poorly constructed lies, was actually pretty slippery.

After returning, Nalun asked a servant and learned that Ilia had stayed obediently inside the house this entire day. Although during this time, she had caused 6 disturbances, they were all stopped by the servant’s polite smile.

Nalun expressed that he was very satisfied and hoped this could continue.

After returning to the room, he opened his personal comp, connected it to the monitor, and started to browse through news about the Scepter.

Nalun: “……” Oh fck, what the hell?

The proper article that he read previously [The Scepter, the royal heirloom, has vanished without a trace, suspected to be the doings of an enemy state] has long been flooded away by a wave of ludicrous news. Right now, the entire screen was filled with [Shocking news! The astonishing sadomasochistic romance hidden behind the truth of the vanishing Scepter], [Hot scoop: The real Scepter has already been lost over a thousand years ago], and other sensational headlines.

Browsing around didn’t answer anything at all and instead made things even more chaotic.

One of the articles even had a reasonable and well evidenced analysis, listing 10 people that coveted the Scepter. Nalun was at the top of that list.

[……The Charvey family has produced plenty of famous people. However, this clan is rather mysterious and do not like to show their faces in public. Yet no one can deny that they play a critical role in influencing the Asha Empire. The current Emperor’s maternal clan is the Charveys. In the current situation where the royal bloodline is dwindling, the Honored Prince Charvey even has the extremely privileged rights of inheriting the throne……]

Nalun: “……” Reading this huge portion of writing that could be pulled from a scheming novel, he felt an incomparable admiration towards these people for their creative imagination. Especially that big pile of stuff about motives.

[…… Under the Emperor’s deliberate suppression, the Honored Prince Charvey has no contribution at all. He’s also rumored to have deep hostilities towards the Imperial Admiral, Sirius Monte, the protector of the royal family. This seems to practically reveal a certain political stance.]

Nalun actually thought it sounded quite reasonable and almost believed it.

No wait. Other than the words “no contribution at all”.

After reading for a while, he lost interest again. Moving his fingers and closing all of the x’s on the windows, he was just about to close the personal comp when he suddenly recalled something. He clicked open the search page again and entered two words “Mist Bug”.

A moment later, explanations regarding the “Mist Bug” jumped out. There were even clear images underneath that matched the text.

This was a bright, multi-colored, middle sized bug. Its thin wings were covered with almost 6 different colors, looking extremely dazzling and pretty.

However, what really creeped people out was that…… It had 3 mouths.

[The Mist Bug is multicolored and gorgeous. To date, this bug is found to have the most orifices. People would often equate this ‘many mouthed bug’ as a liar or deceiver.]

Nalun: “……” Sirius was going the roundabout way to insult people here!

After three days of tranquility, the Honored Prince finally walked out of the depression created from the Mist Bug information. In addition, he actually recalled a certain promise with the Metal-devouring bug– “I will wait for you at the place where we first met.”

Nalun: “…….” Oh fck, he completely forgot about that!

Guiltily, he dressed up in disguise once again and rushed towards the location of their agreement. Thanks to the experience last time, he had an extremely deep fondness towards disguises now and secretly bought numerous wigs and fake beards. Putting them together was practically enough to create a rainbow of 7 colors.

At the foot of LuoRi Volcano, however, there was no shadow of Xi Jin. He ran up the mountain and secretly called its name a few times. But he still didn’t see any huge insects crawling over.

After asking around the staff members of this scenic location, he learned that no one has seen any blonde, fair-skinned youth waiting for anyone. Confirming this a few times, Nalun was certain that Xi Jin didn’t return here.

This made him feel a strange breath of relief. In the midst of his relief, there were still some worries. Regardless, he wished this keen-nosed bug would pack up and return home by this point; Don’t cause any more random issues in the future.

The idea was pretty wonderful. However, reality always catches people completely off guard.

Failing to meet up with his little companion Xi Jin didn’t actually make Nalun feel an intense sense of unease. If he really had to say something that seemed different, it would probably be that the entire LuoRi Volcano has entered the Honored Prince’s blacklist. Without any accidents, he’d never come here anymore.

“Mister, Mister!” Nalun heard someone yelling and turned his head. He saw a staff member jogging over, following him.

“Mister, your call.”

Nalun asked in confusion: “How?”

His voice just landed when a message device was stuffed into his hand. Seeing the worker’s sincere and kind smile, he involuntarily had a very bad premonition.

Placing the speaker next to his ear, Nalun didn’t make a noise.

After a long second of silence from the other side, a voice said tentatively: “Mist Bug?”

Nalun’s face turned black: “Who’s a mist bug?”

A soft laugh came through the phone: “So you are listening.”

Nalun: “……”
