Andrew sent his colleague a questioning look. The other returned with the same befuddled expression.

–Someone you know?

–Wasn’t he talking to you?

One seconds later, the two reached a consensus.

Diya revealed a perfectly, brilliant smile and went forth in greeting.

Everytime this kind of thing happened, Andrew would always silently count the time, waiting for Diya to once again dig out all useful information in seconds and develop a deep and profound friendship with the person.

However, something unexpected happened this time.

Diya just stood up; the other party immediately responded with ten-fold enthusiasm, talking about the weather to delicious foods, from clothing to hair style. In the end, he even suggested a date with Diya alone: “Why don’t we eat a meal together?”

To the side, Andrew was shocked by what he heard and gasped in amazement.

Meanwhile, Diya sat back down next to Andrew and shook his head, declining the man’s invitation.

“Unfortunately I can’t.” He nuzzled Andrew, behaving intimately: “I need to accompany him.”

“How unfortunate.” This short haired man, who claimed to be Jeff, shrugged regrettably. With a smile, his gaze landed on Andrew, who’s been silent this entire time.

“Looks like I will be spending another boring public holiday afternoon alone again. Of course, if you guys don’t mind, a three person meal is also very interesting.”

Diya thought briefly and asked: “You’re a regular here?”

With a new topic, Jeff’s eyes brightened up. He sat down smoothly facing the two people, looking like he was getting prepared to engage in a big long discussion.

Andrew: “……” Why did he feel like the neighboring people were giving him looks of sympathy?

This entire time, Diya had been clinging to Andrew’s arm while staring enthusiastically at Jeff simultaneously. Yet Andrew only sat there silently, unable to interrupt– In the eyes of the bystanders, this must really look like some poor sucker, about to wear a green hat.

“The customers of this coffee shop are all beauties.” Jeff fluttered his eyelashes and said mysteriously: “Originally, it was advertised for people of all ages. However, what’s interesting is that it’s very rare to see seniors come here. The people that come and go are always……”

Pausing for a second, he met Diya in the eyes and said in a low tone: “Beauties like you.”

Overwhelmed by this favor, Diya looked all over, almost as if he felt somewhat embarrassed and helpless at this kind of blatant praise.

Andrew gave his colleague a look of disdain.

— Look at the trouble you attracted.

— Is it my fault that my charms are too strong?

“The beauties nowadays all have a bit of a temper.” Seeing his smile, Jeff felt rather touched: “I’m someone who loves to chat. Just not long ago, I suffered an unreasonable treatment because of this hobby of mine.”

Diya appropriately displayed a curious expression.

Andrew looked pensive.

“He was a person suffering from extremely sensitive skin, completely bundled up from head to toe. However, his eyes were very beautiful, more attractive than the most lustrous of jades…… I praised him and even kindly recommended a certain place without the interference of sunlight. But he ultimately assumed my action was harassment.”

Jeff sounded somewhat discontent. Seeing Diya’s focused and attentive expression, he said: “Sorry, I shouldn’t be discussing this kind of insignificant trifle to you.”

Diya said: “I just love to hear this kind of trifle.”

Andrew suddenly interrupted: “I remember now. A few weeks ago, you were driven out by the shop’s security guards.” — and then bumped into him.

At that time, he even thought a crime was occuring. If he wasn’t busy trying to capture the Insectoid suspect, Andrew actually really wanted to get involved. Who would have imagined, a few weeks later, he’s encountering the main lead of the incident back then again.

Jeff’s expression stiffened.

Andrew turned his head and said to Diya: “That day, you were in the car too, yet I was the one who had to deal with that group of energetic and vigorous, young men and women.”

Diya realized with a start.

“Yes, it was that time.” After a short moment of awkwardness, Jeff quickly recovered his composure: “I had a deep impression of this. Later on, a group of soldiers even came by and guarded the entrance and exit of the street, as if they were searching for someone.”

He cleverly shifted the topic of the conversation.

However this time, the rather understanding Diya asked persistently: “So that day…… You saw someone suffering from extremely sensitive skin?”

Jeff rubbed his palms: “En.”

Diya asked: “Did you see how he looked?”

Of course Jeff didn’t see how Nalun looked.

The entire people of Asha, including Sirius, didn’t know how he looked.

Inside the private booth. After Nalun finished drinking half of the coffee, he started to lose focus. He was hungry.

Who knew that Langdon Street #4843 was a coffee shop?

He had arrived with the expectation of eating something, yet in the end, he could only drink a cup of bitter tasting coffee.

Nalun felt rather upset.

Sirius held his personal comp, occasionally clicking it open to take a look, then raising his head to give Nalun a smile.

Nalun: “…….”

The two people casually chatted about some stuff. Occasionally, they fell into silence. However, the atmosphere didn’t actually feel awkward.

Nalun reached out and pressed the call bell. Under Sirius’s gaze, he ordered a vanilla cake and a portion of ice cream and waited in contentment for the sweets to be served.

Compared to the sweet sticky taste of western styled cakes, he actually liked other main foods better. However, occasionally changing the flavor wasn’t bad either.

The cake and ice cream very quickly arrived on the table. They were individually placed in delicate tablewares.

The cake was only the size of half a palm, with meticulous drawn frosting and delicate design; Close up, it’s even possible to smell the thick flavor of milk.

To the side, the round ball of ice cream was drizzled with a layer of strawberry sauce and finished off with a plump, full fresh strawberry on top.

Nalun has been hungry for a while already. He picked up the small spoon and immediately started eating.

The taste of the cake was very exquisite. He could practically feel the flavor melt on the tip of his tongue.

“How’s the taste?” Sirius stared engrossed at him eating the cake.

Nalun maintained his reserved manner and slowed down his pace, saying coolly: “It’s alright.”

A minute later, the half palm sized cake instantly disappeared. The little round ice cream ball also didn’t last long. An adult man could decimate it in a few bites.

Staring at the completely empty plates, the Honored Prince, who wasn’t even half full, fell silent.

Were the portions here kiddy portions?

No. Even kids might not eat their fill!

He narrowed his eyes and calculated for a moment, feeling like even if he ate 10 pieces of the cake, there’d still be plenty of room to spare in his stomach.

However, this clearly didn’t suit his image.

— He definitely didn’t want to achieve the glorious accomplishment of “10 portions in one meal” in front of Sirius.

Sirius said: “Looks pretty good. I also want a piece.”

Nalun said: “…… up to you.”

Half a moment later, the waiter carried over another round plate. On the plate were numerous, already cut, half palm sized cakes. They were arranged neatly into the shape of a big round cake.

Why did Sirius get that many?

Nalun’s expression blanked.

Sirius looked in amusement at the Honored Prince’s change in emotions. If it were before, he would only feel that the other was in a pretty bad mood and not suitable for further interactions. However right now, he seemed to have gotten better at understanding the source of displeasure for this colleague. Moreover, he discovered that it wasn’t hard to make the prince happy again.

He stated distressingly: “I never thought it’d be this much. Share some with me?”

Nalun raised his eyes to look at him, his gloomy eyes seemed to brighten up briefly.

Outside of the private booth, Diya was still completely focused in gossipping with Jeff. Andrew, however, continued to stare in a certain direction while diverting his attention to listen to the two’s conversation.

“Mask? Was he also wearing a dark, long outer coat and wearing a hat and sunglasses?”

Jeff looked towards Andrew in astonishment: “That’s right!”

Andrew: “……”

He only asked casually. Who would have imagined that the person Jeff chatted up was actually the Metal-devouring bug’s accomplice.

“Although he declined my invitation and refused to take down the mask, I am convinced he’s definitely very beautiful.” Jeff’s expression was very careful: “Unfortunately, he didn’t have a very good temper.”

Outside came the clear voice of a young girl.

“Grandpa, this shop has extremely tasty cakes! Buy me ten pieces, alright?”

Jeff looked over and saw it was a grandfather and his granddaughter. They looked like they had wandered over leisurely after a meal. The little lolita was dressed in a pink puffy dress and was hopping and skipping while dragging her grandfather over to the shop. Even with a pigtail pointing upwards, Jeff had no choice but to admit that she was very cute.

He exclaimed sincerely: “I very rarely see this kind of group inside this shop. But even the grandfather and granddaughter pair are very pleasing to the eye.”

This time Diya didn’t reply to him, because he recognized that it was the Honored Prince Charvey Sr. and his granddaughter Ilia.

Dragged inside the shop by his granddaughter, the Honored Prince Sr. solemnly examined the shop’s interior environment. In the end, his gaze landed on Diya and Andrew.

Although Diya and Co didn’t associate very harmoniously with Nalun, in front of the Honored Prince Sr, they were all cowering and trembling youngsters. Andrew already stood up. He greeted the other with a head nod, behaving extremely respectfully.

Ilia also saw the two people. She immediately let go of her grandpa, lifted the hem of her dress, and ran over.

Andrew: “……”

The pink human-shaped bullet collided into his arms with a whoosh.

“Mister Andrew! Did you accompany Mister Sirius here to do work?”

Her little eyes blinked as she looked around in anticipation: “Where’s Mister Sirius?”

Andrew opened his mouth, but he didn’t know how to answer.

— He wasn’t here to do work with the Admiral, however, the Admiral was indeed in this shop.

The adult world is very complicated.

The stumped Andrew felt his impoverished vocabulary wasn’t enough to form an answer for this question. After all, he was too proper to use lies to trick a child.

Good thing Diya stepped forth just in time. He had long heard about the incident Ilia had at the onsen clubhouse. However, he just happened to miss Ilia on that day.

Today, he finally had the chance to meet the child of the Charvey family at close distance. He had no choice but to admit that this family’s genes did good work for their outer appearance.

“So you’re Ilia?”

Ilia raised her head and smiled very sweetly: “That’s right.”

To the side, Jeff instantly felt like he wanted to cup a heart with his hands.

–A little devil who was good at pretending, can really be quite deceptive sometimes.

Andrew exclaimed secretly.

Diya said: “Sirius often mentions you to us, saying how adorable and well behaved you are.”

Ilia’s eyes lit up. In an instant, she forgot her question completely. With a red flushed face, she asked bashfully: “Really?”

Diya firmly nodded his head.

“Of course.”

Andrew: “……” How come he’s never heard this before.

With the scene of Ilia ‘molesting’ Sirius still vivid in his mind, Andrew dared to bet on his own precious integrity that Sirius didn’t actually think this.
