Bright stars sprinkled across the night sky.

The Yu Clan was quiet.

Two figures silently landed on the ground.

They picked a place toward the backside of the clan, standing in the shadow of the buildings.

Yuan Lianyao closed her eyes and then opened.

Every time she opened her eyes, more and more confusion covered her sight.

Su Yan looked at the Mayoress as she back to her senses. “Both you and the Yu Clan seemed weird. There was a small earthquake.”

“Earthquake?” Yuan Lianyao was still not recovered.

“Yes. I am certain that I saw the houses in the Yu Clan tremble.” Su Yan said seriously.

“It shouldn’t be a surprise.” Yuan Lianyao rubbed her forehead, trying to keep herself more alert. “Our city has experienced several small earthquakes recently.”

“No, it’s not like that.” Su Yan explained. “The earthquake only impacted the Yu Clan and nowhere else.”

“What?” Yuan Lianyao finally realized the problem.

“I mean, the earthquake only occurred in the boundaries of the Yu Clan!” Su Yan emphasized.

“Really?”

“Why would I lie?”

“Only in the Yu Clan? A random earthquake? The glowing houses?” Yuan Lianyao muttered to herself.

She sensed that everyone was still asleep, and only one person woke up by the earthquake.

She immediately tracked where that person was.

“Yu Yuan!” Yuan Lianyao said.

She nodded to Su Yan. “Please keep this a secret.”

“Okay.” Su Yan said casually.

“I need to go see Yu Yuan.”

She flew off immediately as she said that.

“Hey, wait for me too.” Su Yan followed.

At the front gate of the Yu Clan.

Yu Yuan, who had been wandering around for a while, decided to go back to figure out what was going on.

His Soul of Heaven had already returned, and he felt better from the shock.
