"Thank you for the favorite registration and the rating!"

"What do you mean by 'disappeared'...?"

Silas asked with a stern expression. Alan ran his hand through his hair and shook his head.

"I only heard a brief account, so I'm not sure yet. But, according to the waiter, when they knocked on Princess Florenzia's door to check on her meal, there was no response. They thought it was strange and called a female staff member to check. They then discovered a guard and a maid lying unconscious in the room."

"Lying unconscious...!"

"It's okay. They had no external injuries and were breathing. They've been moved to another room and are lying down. They haven't regained consciousness yet, but the hotel staff called a doctor, so he should arrive soon. We won't know the details until they wake up, but Princess Florenzia was not in the room. Also, there's no sign of Legion, her head guard."

Silas's expression stiffened.

"Wait a minute... You don't think she's been involved in some kind of incident, do you?"

"That's why we don't know anything yet."

Alan sighed repeatedly, shaking one knee. If the princess of a neighboring country had been involved in some kind of incident and gone missing, it would be very bad. Not to mention the issue with the gold smuggling. Even if it's a friendly country, they don't want to cause any more trouble with Levanor.

(But why...)

Olivia's hands were damp with sweat from her anxiety. Before anything else, Princess Florenzia is a shy and delicate princess. If she's been involved in some kind of incident, she must be feeling very alone. And—

(Could something terrible have happened...?)

Because she didn't know anything, Olivia couldn't help but think the worst and shook her head.

Alan and Silas's guards were currently searching Princess Florenzia's room for any suspicious points or dangers. They were waiting in Alan's room until the search was complete. The hotel staff, considerate of Olivia and the others who had left their dinner, brought light snacks, but they couldn't bring themselves to eat calmly.

After a while, Colin, one of Silas's guards, entered the room. Colin and the other guards had been checking Princess Florenzia's room. Colin reported that there were no suspicious points in the room.

"There were no signs of forced entry or struggle. The room was clean."

"Then why were the princess's guard and maid lying unconscious?"

"I don't know. The doctor has arrived and is checking on them, but they haven't regained consciousness yet. They have no external injuries and their breathing is stable, so it seems they were given some kind of sleeping drug."

"Sleeping drug? Was there any sign of it in the room?"

When Silas asked, Colin shook his head.

"No, there was nothing like that."

This was too mysterious. It was inconceivable that the maid and the guard would lose consciousness simultaneously without any reason.

(And what's concerning is that Legion, the head guard, is also missing. If they were involved in some kind of incident and kidnapped along with the princess, there should be signs of a struggle. As a guard, he would have tried to protect the princess and wouldn't have shown mercy to the kidnappers. There should be some trace of a struggle...)

Something didn't add up. This hotel is the most secure in town, and it would be extremely difficult for someone to sneak in from the outside. Moreover, there are always guards in the princess's room. What's most concerning is that there was no noise or screams when the guard and maid were found unconscious.

"Can I go into Princess Florenzia's room?"

When Olivia asked, Alan tilted his head.

"What are you going to do in there?"

"I want to see the room with my own eyes."

"Colin, you said there were no dangerous points in the room, right?"

When Silas asked, Colin nodded slightly.

"Yes, I checked even the closet and under the bed. It seems to be safe."

"Is that so, brother? Is it okay?"

Alan let out a big sigh.

"Here we go with Olivia's curiosity again. Fine, I can't stop you."

While saying this, Alan reluctantly nodded.
