Chapter 54

His laptop for work, books and such, could be left in the room but his clothes and beddings would definitely have to be moved into the master’s bedroom. The bed had to be rearranged; changing the bed sheets and blanket into a brand new set, so that it would seem like no one had slept in that room for a long time.

When they were almost done, Jian Ci held his waist and sighed, “That old man sure knows how to choose the right day…”

After Father Zhou was discharged, his face was radiant, and he was vigorous and hearty. He did not look like someone who had just undergone a big surgery. “Seems like Xiao Bai has treated and fed you pretty well, you even gained some weight.”

“Mm, he treats me really well,” Jian Ci said, feeling shy.

Father Zhou inspected the couple’s home, and there were obvious signs of two people living under one roof. He was satisfied.

The dinner that Father Zhou brought was prepared by the lady chef. He had dietary restrictions, and his meals had to be in accordance with the dietitian’s instructions. Jian Ci flipped over and spread his limbs, laughing while talking, “That’s not it, I’m just not used to it.”
