Qiping felt that things were going well now. Although it seemed busy, for Qiping, this was for better harvests to come. After all, no pain, no gain. It was only right to be a bit busier now; to promote the better development of the forest farm, more effort should be put in now.

Jingang stood foolishly to one side, the little guy now needed to carry a small cloth bag on his back. Qiping thought that if someone who didn't know the situation saw this, they would definitely misunderstand, thinking he was mistreating Jingang.

This little guy now ate a lot of snacks every day, especially fruits. Qiping wasn't worried about the cost of the fruits; the key was that Jingang's stomach seemed bottomless, always looking hungry, always needing some fruit. So now, whenever they went out, he would put a pear, an apple, and two bananas in a small backpack for him, just to barely satisfy this glutton.

Of course, the large milk bottle was a separate matter; it was Jingang's main food.

"You're doing a great job maintaining your figure. You've eaten so much but haven't gained a bit of fat. You should feel happy about that." Laughing, Qiping planted the soybeans, watching as Jingang sat on the grass and started drinking milk. He found it amusing; he patted Jingang's little belly, which wasn't yet round, indicating that Jingang still hadn't eaten enough.

Impatiently pushing Qiping's hand away, Jingang clearly wasn't happy with his unscrupulous big brother disturbing his meal. Now that the fruits were all gone, he could only drink milk. It had been a long time, and if it weren't for Dong, Nan, Xi, and Bei who could still play games with him, it would be so boring.

Laughing, Qiping picked up Jingang and whistled loudly. In response, barking sounds came from all directions. Dong, Nan, Xi, and Bei were now more mature, though not fully grown. With good food, good drinks, and the nourishment of sufficient qi, they were gradually becoming more majestic, like large dogs.

Although they were no longer as cute and round as when they were little, as excellent herding dogs, their physiques were outstanding. These guys were gradually becoming excellent herding dogs.

Feeling satisfied, Qiping had been busy these past few days, but it was filled with a sense of accomplishment. He had basically managed the vegetable garden on his own, without needing much help from others. Moreover, Qiping found it interesting to operate some modern tools of the forest farm, like the rotary tiller and the seeder attached to the large tractor. It was quite fun.

"Mr. Qi, the fruit trees you need will be delivered tomorrow. They are all the best quality selected according to your requirements." After taking a shower, Qiping felt refreshed and clear-headed. At this moment, he received a call, one that made him very satisfied.

"That's great. I'll be at the forest farm tomorrow to receive them. Don't worry, I don't think the current season is bad. These fruit trees have a different meaning to me." Qiping understood the fruit tree seller's concerns. After all, planting tree seedlings in the middle of summer did seem inappropriate.

The fruit tree seller, of course, didn't say anything. Although Qiping's choice of time was indeed not ideal, as long as he got paid, it was fine. He could even think more darkly, that the survival rate of this batch of seedlings might not be high, and this ignorant and capricious Chinese guy might have to spend more money to buy seedlings again.

Qiping, of course, didn't care about these things. For him, planting fruit trees this time was a must. As for the survival rate, Qiping wasn't worried at all because he had made thorough preparations. As long as the quality of the fruit trees was good, he believed this batch of seedlings would grow well.

Qiping was busy preparing dinner. For him, doing it himself meant being self-sufficient. Living in a remote forest farm, going out to eat wasn't very convenient, so it was better to do it himself. Even after being in the U.S. for almost half a year, one's eating habits weren't easily changed.

Qiping thought his cooking skills were pretty good. In fact, he had learned some when he was young. In the past, when his parents were busy with farm work, Qiping would often make simple meals. That was when he was a child. Poor children grow up fast, sometimes out of necessity.

After starting work, even though his income was decent and he was considered a white-collar worker, cooking for himself was still better. It saved money and was more reassuring. As for how delicious it was, that was a matter of personal taste. Qiping thought his home-cooked dishes were quite acceptable, at least not bad.

"Brother Rich, what are you up to?" Luo Yi called, sounding very cheerful.

"Cooking. I plan to make braised pork tonight. I wanted to make braised fish, but I haven't had time to go to town these past two days, so I'll have to wait." Qiping was a bit regretful. Living so far away had its downsides.

"You're doing well. Americans don't really like freshwater fish. Fish like carp and bream are too earthy and have too many bones. They don't know how to eat them." Luo Yi chuckled, but he was telling the truth.

"Get to the point. I know you don't call unless you have something to say." Qiping knew Luo Yi's character well. Good friends didn't need to be so formal.

Although Luo Yi repeatedly claimed he was being wronged, he did have something to say. He was very busy and didn't have much time to chat with Qiping. Most importantly, two grown men chatting on the phone was too sappy, even Qiping couldn't stand it.

"A family wants to visit your farm. They are our major clients." Luo Yi got straight to the point, combining business with a vacation.

"Sure, bring them over." Qiping nodded, understanding the situation. This wasn't about being particularly hospitable; it was a practical matter. Although the vegetables from the forest farm were increasingly recognized, some things required consideration of human relationships. Many people wanted to see the source of these high-quality vegetables, and as long as the conditions allowed, Qiping wouldn't refuse. It was part of his business.

Jingang was doing well, sitting on a specially raised chair, enjoying his meal. Although milk was his main food and fruit his favorite, he always sat at the table for three meals a day, even if it was just some simple home-cooked dishes. He insisted on staying at the table.

As for Dong, Nan, Xi, and Bei, their lives were also very comfortable. They basically had meat at every meal, beef soup with rice, which was their main food. As for dog food, it was nowhere near as delicious.

"Hello! Hello!"

This was Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai making noise. The two noisy guys were now standing on the sofa, and they were starting to learn some words.

At first, Qiping planned to teach them Chinese, but it was impossible. Although he believed they were very smart, even macaws had limited intelligence. So English was a bit better, as they were living in the U.S. Even if they were very smart, they could only learn a limited number of words.

After taking care of these things, Qiping gave Dong, Nan, Xi, Bei, and Jingang a bath, watching them return to their rooms to sleep obediently. Qiping was relieved; they wouldn't continue to make noise. Of course, he still needed to check on Heitan, who should be sleeping in the stable, standing up, as horses sleep standing.

Although the day seemed ordinary, for Qiping, it was very fulfilling and interesting. He could sleep well, and he had always had good sleep quality. People without worries sleep well.
