12 Divine Beasts.

The twelve divine animals that protect the East. These are the animals commonly known as the ‘zodiac signs,’ or the animals mentioned in the Chinese zodiac.

It is said that the 12 Divine Beasts, possessing mysterious powers, select suitable Awakeners to form contracts with, and that these ‘Contractors’ gain special skills or traits in addition to their unique abilities.

Among them, the one chosen as a ‘Divine Incarnation’ can either manifest the appearance of the Divine Beast through ‘Manifestation’ (現神化) or be granted the power of the Divine Beast, known as ‘Divine Authority,’ which is said to be a force beyond imagination.

However, it is said that forming a contract with a Divine Beast is even harder than winning the lottery. In fact, among Galaxy's acquaintances, there were only two contractors: the training camp commander and the assigned instructor.

Although they had not seen them in actual combat, it was evident in their daily lives that their physical abilities, such as stamina and strength, had significantly improved after forming a contract with a Divine Beast. Especially in the case of the assigned instructor, who could go three days without sleep and still function perfectly.

‘Definitely, if I form a contract with a Divine Beast, combat will be much easier than it is now.’

This was not a bad thing for Galaxy. However, there was one thing that bothered her.

Galaxy raised her head and stared at the yellow message box.

“The 12 Divine Beasts I know are 12 animals. As far as I know, there’s no cat among them.”

The Divine Beast ‘Wandering Cat of Darkness’ stiffened.

After a brief cough, it mumbled that there was a deep reason behind it.
