The time for prayer was only half an hour. When the church bell rang, it meant the end of the prayer, and the believers began to gradually disperse.

A familiar voice rang out. Meryn's eyes narrowed slightly. The speaker was his sister, Mei Xue.

Mei Xue then walked up to the shield and playfully winked at Meryn. She took a deep breath, and her ample chest rose and fell, a sight that even made Anson stare.

A loud sound echoed as Mei Xue struck the shield with a force that was no less than Cardolong's. Meryn watched closely and saw a faint, intermittent flame on Mei Xue's hand.

The flame was very faint, like a small flickering flame, enveloping Mei Xue's fist. Like Cardolong, the small and delicate Mei Xue's hand was unharmed, as if she had not struck a hard iron shield.
