"Get out of my way." Ymir reached out, trying to push aside the red-haired man who was blocking the pool table, but the red-haired man, who had been listless, suddenly perked up as if he had been injected with hormones. His eyes coldly fell on Ymir, and he grinned menacingly: "Hahaha, little thing, do you know who you're talking to?"
He said magnanimously, "Now, kneel down and kowtow to me, and say you're sorry. I might let you live to see tomorrow. Otherwise, I'll kill you right now!"
The red-haired man, as if by magic, reached behind his waist and pulled out a gun.
"Uh, what are you saying?" Ymir looked at the red-haired man, his face showing that he thought the other was either not awake or had a fever: "I think I might not have heard you clearly."
"Turn around and look, your protector, that damn blind man, has already left. Little thing, you've been abandoned." The red-haired man waved the gun, not taking Ymir seriously at all: "Kneel down yourself, don't make me do it, or you'll suffer even more!"
"Ah, where is Mr. Matt?" Ymir turned around and indeed, Matt had left the pool bar at some point.
Ymir pouted, feeling that this Nightwatcher wasn't as reliable as he thought.
The red-haired man's face twitched slightly, and he stared at Ymir, but to his disappointment, he saw no fear on Ymir's face, only dissatisfaction and a bit of pique.
This attitude was not what the red-haired man liked to see. He put his finger on the trigger and aimed at Ymir: "Poor little thing, do you have anything else to say now?"
Ymir, with a gun pointed at him, scratched his head innocently and thought for a moment before saying, "How about we finish this game first?"
He had already planned out the route of the balls in his mind and was eager to win his first bet in this world.
"Sure, no, what did you say?" The red-haired man didn't understand what Ymir was saying at first, thinking Ymir had given in and was begging for mercy.
He was about to put away the gun when he suddenly realized something was wrong. The red-haired man's eyes bulged, and a surge of uncontrollable anger rose in his chest. He couldn't believe a poor student would dare to mock him!
"I told you to play pool, damn it!"
The red-haired man, a top enforcer under the Hell's Kitchen boss, Mr. Ferren, put his hand under the pool table and, with a mighty effort, flipped it upside down.
He had never hated pool so much, almost losing his right hand in the process.
"You, bastard..." Ymir still held the pool cue, looking pitifully at the overturned table. His eyes slowly emitted a ghostly green light, and ghostly flames began to burn.
Ymir threw away the pool cue, looked up, and shook his head at the red-haired man: "Why rush to your death? According to the bet, if I win, I just need one of your arms. But now, you've broken the rules of the game, and I judge you guilty!"
The red-haired man and his gang were about to surround Ymir and teach him a lesson, but they soon saw the green ghostly light flickering in Ymir's eyes: "Your eyes..."
He had heard many legends about superheroes, supervillains, and mutants while following Boss Ferren.
In the past, the red-haired man had always thought these were just urban legends, but now, seeing Ymir's strange appearance, he broke out in a cold sweat and his hair stood on end.
"You, you must be a devil!" The red-haired man could beat up ordinary people and even tussle with the Nightwatcher Matt, but he was also afraid of such supernatural beings.
He and his gang shivered and backed away.
On the other hand, the other customers and the owner, Jeff, only felt the temperature in the pool bar drop sharply, without noticing any other abnormalities.
Ymir felt the intense fear and resentment emanating from the red-haired man and his gang, took a deep breath, and pointed at them, enjoying it: "You, you have broken the rules of the game. Now, I judge you all guilty, and let the darkness bring you fear!"
The ghostly flames in his eyes burned fiercely, and a terrifying, imperceptible dark force spread from Ymir's body.
This dark force quickly filled the entire pool bar like a tide. Except for the owner, Jeff, who hugged his arms and shivered but stayed, the other onlookers fled.
This coldness brought by the dark force was so intense that even the thickest clothing couldn't protect against it. Ymir was surprised that the pool bar owner could endure the bone-chilling cold and stay.
The red-haired man's gang also wanted to escape, but countless gray-black withered claws emerged from the ground.
These skeletal claws, wrapped in flesh, grabbed the legs of the red-haired man and his gang. There were so many of them that they looked like a field of gray-black flowers on the floor of the pool bar.
This was Ymir's cursed land, different from the real world. Although the pool bar owner, Jeff, was also caught in it, Ymir deliberately controlled it so that he wasn't attacked.
However, even without Ymir's attack, the sight was enough to give an ordinary person nightmares for days.
Speaking of nightmares, Ymir's attack didn't stop there. He treated the red-haired man and his gang like lab rats to test his abilities.
Fear appeared on the red-haired man's face: "No, no, boss, listen to me..."
It seemed that in the red-haired man's mind, the most terrifying thing wasn't ghosts or gods, but his boss. It was unclear what these Ferren's men encountered in the illusionary world Ymir led them into, but they were so terrified that their faces turned blue and purple.
The red-haired man knelt on the ground, his hands futilely grabbing at the air: "Boss Ferren, I didn't mean to anger the big boss, please help me. I beg you..."
"Hmm!" Ymir was shocked. In his view, Ferren, one of the underground bosses of Hell's Kitchen, was already a formidable villain.
Could there be another big boss behind Ferren?
Curiosity overcame him, and his body turned into a wisp of smoke and entered the red-haired man's illusion. Everything in the illusion was formed by the red-haired man's own impressions, so it wasn't like a dream that Ymir could control.
