Wang Ming chased after Tian Nina's figure to the underground parking lot. A few minutes later, Wang Ming clenched his fists, his eyes flashing with a piercing cold light, and looked at Tian Nina in disbelief. The truth was actually this!

"Why didn't you say it back then! Why are you saying it now?" Wang Ming shouted in pain.

Tian Nina gave a bitter smile. "Is there any point in saying these things now? I just couldn't bear to see you continue to sink like this. Wang Ming, you shouldn't bear this pain! I'm leaving, and I won't return to the country after this trip. I hope you will be happy in the future!"

Tian Nina turned and walked toward her car. Suddenly, she stopped, her body swaying. Wang Ming held her, gently laying her in his arms. A dagger was embedded in Tian Nina's back, and blood flowed from her back.

"You smile so beautifully! I love your smile!" Tian Nina whispered, her hand caressing Wang Ming's cheek, then falling weakly.

She never called for help, perhaps knowing it was too late, or perhaps unable to believe that the man she loved would treat her this way. Perhaps this was a kind of relief for her, or perhaps this was the result she had been waiting for all along.

Tears welled up in Wang Ming's eyes. He understood why Tian Nina did this. But she was unforgivable. It was she who had lured Guan Ying to the large classroom back then, and it was she who had chosen to cover up the truth of Guan Ying's death with those people, leaving Guan Ying to bear the injustice for twenty years.

Wang Ming leaned close to Tian Nina's ear. "I can forgive you for everything else, but not this. Why did you have to kill her! If she hadn't died, we might not be like this. Nina, don't be afraid, wait for me there. After I avenge Guan Ying, I'll come to find you soon!"

A few hours later, after arranging the aftermath, Wang Ming sat at a barbecue stall waiting for Yang Yang.

"What are you doing here so late at night! Why aren't you sleeping!" Yang Yang frowned as he sat down.

Wang Ming filled the wine glass on the table and raised a glass to Yang Yang.

Yang Yang frowned, picked up the glass, and drank it with Wang Ming. They drank three glasses in succession. These were the last three glasses of Wang Ming's life. After the drinks, it was time to act.

Putting down the glass, Wang Ming's expression suddenly changed, his eyes cold and ruthless, making Yang Yang feel like he was being stared at by a fierce tiger.

If at the alumni meeting, Wang Ming had exuded a sense of death, now he was radiating endless killing intent.

Yang Yang's face turned pale. "Wang Ming, why are you looking at me like that!"

Wang Ming sneered. "Don't you understand?"

"Understand what?" Yang Yang said unhappily.

"Tian Nina is dead! I just killed her!" Wang Ming said suddenly.

Yang Yang's face turned white, looking at Wang Ming in disbelief, his throat constricted, unable to speak. He knows? He knows? This thought circled in Yang Yang's mind.

"I don't know what you're talking about, you're drunk!" Yang Yang immediately chose to run. No one knew better than he did how terrifying Wang Ming could be when he went crazy!

Wang Ming had anticipated Yang Yang's reaction. In two steps, he was beside Yang Yang, grabbing his collar and whispering, "Don't move!"

Yang Yang didn't dare to move. In Wang Ming's other hand was a metal skewer from a meat串串, pressing against his waist. The pain reminded him that the dirty skewer was piercing his flesh, and if he moved, he would die there. The unhidden killing intent in Wang Ming's eyes made Yang Yang choose to obey.

At this moment, Yang Yang showed a calm side. "Wang Ming, do you know what you're doing? I'm the mayor, an official. The consequences of killing an official are much worse than killing an ordinary person!"

Wang Ming sneered. "Do you think I care? Come with me!"

Holding Yang Yang's shoulder, the metal skewer pressed firmly against Yang Yang's waist, they walked toward the car.

"Wang Ming, we can talk this out!" Yang Yang tried to persuade Wang Ming.

Wang Ming had no interest in talking. He walked to the car and gestured for Yang Yang to open the door. As soon as the door opened, Yang Yang's head was hit hard, and he fainted on the back seat.

When Yang Yang woke up, he found himself on the ground, facing a familiar face. The fat and large-featured man was the principal of Linji University, Gao Guo, one of the conspirators in Guan Ying's death. The ground was covered in blood, and the man was already dead. His hands were tied behind his back, leaving him powerless, and his heart sank to the bottom.

"You're awake!" Wang Ming's cold voice came.

"Are you really going to kill? You're crazy, this is a death sentence!" Yang Yang struggled to stand up, shouting at Wang Ming. The official authority he had cultivated over twenty years emerged, and he glared at Wang Ming with righteous indignation, trying to regain the upper hand.

"Is killing a death sentence? Is there such a law? I didn't know. Why don't you tell me, after Guan Ying's incident, why did you all live well, some becoming officials, some getting rich! I have a question for you, you're a smart man, you know how to answer, right!" Wang Ming kicked Yang Yang to the ground.

Yang Yang's body curled up, the kick to his abdomen causing intense pain. He forced a smile. "Wang Ming, I don't know where you heard this, there must be a misunderstanding! Ah, it hurts so much!"

Wang Ming was missing a metal skewer, which was now embedded in Yang Yang's thigh.

"Didn't you hear me? I ask, you answer!" Wang Ming said.

"You're a madman, let me go!" Yang Yang shouted.

Wang Ming grabbed a few more skewers and plunged them into Yang Yang's leg again, this time even more viciously. Afterward, he grabbed the skewers and stirred them wildly in Yang Yang's thigh. "Wrong answer!"

Yang Yang screamed, tears and snot streaming down his face. "Help! Someone! Help! Murder! It hurts so much!"

Wang Ming growled, "When Guan Ying was begging for help, why didn't you let her go!"

Yang Yang realized there was no way out and showed a sinister expression. "You know everything, why ask! Yes, it was in that classroom, I did it! She kept crying and begging, ha ha, she kept calling your name, so what, I did it! It was so—"

The word "enjoyable" didn't come out. Wang Ming grabbed a chair and smashed it into Yang Yang, again and again, making him roll on the ground, screaming in pain.

Yang Yang's laughter didn't stop but became even more疯狂. "Ha ha, do you know how Guan Ying died? I threw her down from here! I still remember, she kept begging me to see you one last time!"

Wang Ming finally stopped swinging the chair, looking coldly at Yang Yang on the ground, his eyes filled with mockery. "Guan Ying would never be humiliated by you, let alone beg you! Your words make me realize that she didn't suffer much back then!"

Yang Yang recalled that night, Guan Ying's final cold expression, and howled in pain. "Who said that! I did it, I still remember her smooth, silk-like skin!"

As soon as he finished speaking, a sharp scream echoed in the classroom, like a rooster being strangled. Wang Ming stepped on Yang Yang's groin, crushing it, and blood and urine soaked Yang Yang's pants.

Seeing the killing intent in Wang Ming's eyes, Yang Yang finally felt death approaching and begged, "Wang Ming, this is a misunderstanding, I didn't expect her to jump!"

Wang Ming said nothing, grabbing Yang Yang's hair and dragging him to the window.

"What are you going to do?" Yang Yang asked in fear.

"Don't be afraid, I'll throw you down and then tell you it's a misunderstanding!" Wang Ming sneered, pushing Yang Yang's upper body out the window.

Yang Yang struggled, grabbing the wall, the window, anything he could, and shouted, "Wang Ming, spare me, I'll give you money, okay?"

"Give me money? I killed the principal who helped you cover up the truth! I killed Tian Nina who lured Guan Ying to the large classroom! Do you think I want your money?" Wang Ming mocked.

"It's okay, I can fix it! Wang Ming, it's been twenty years, even if I killed her, it's past the statute of limitations, why argue over a dead person! The living are more important, if you kill me, you're finished too! I'll give you money, ten million, twenty million, no, thirty million, you can take it anytime, it's all cash at my house, spare me, Wang Ming, please spare me, I don't want to die!" Yang Yang begged desperately.

Yang Yang's shouts finally drew a crowd of students, some pointing up, some calling the police, and some running toward the large classroom. Yang Yang knew his chance had come; if he could hold on until the police arrived, he would survive.

Wang Ming knew if he delayed any longer, Yang Yang's reinforcements would arrive. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time to find the police who handled the case back then. But seeing the phone on the table, he smiled in satisfaction. With this evidence, he could expose Yang Yang and ensure the police involved would be held accountable.

Understanding this, Wang Ming suddenly pulled Yang Yang back, staring into his eyes.

Yang Yang thought his words had moved Wang Ming and gasped, "I'll give you money, I'll help you leave the country, even if it's discovered, you can live well abroad! Wang Ming, let's talk, we're good friends, good friends for over twenty years!"

"It seems you don't understand me!" Suddenly, Wang Ming clasped his hands, hugging Yang Yang tightly and dragging him to the window.

Yang Yang, realizing Wang Ming was dragging him to his death, shouted, "I don't want to die! You're a madman, there are more secrets about Guan Ying's death, I'll tell you everything! There was another big boss involved, someone we couldn't offend!"

The classroom door was kicked open, and numerous security guards shouted from outside, and the sound of sirens could be heard in the distance.

Wang Ming smiled at the people at the door. "Guan Ying, I have avenged you!"

With a loud, satisfying roar, Wang Ming hugged Yang Yang and jumped from the eighteenth floor. Yang Yang's eyes showed despair, while Wang Ming seemed to see a beautiful figure smiling at him from the sky.

A sharp screech of brakes jolted Wang Ming from his memories.
