Eunseo was so glad she didn’t forget her place. She knew Jihwan was only asking if she was interested in any specific sexual act, not about any romantic gesture.

Eunseo wondered what kind of face Jihwan would make if she asked him to kiss her like they were real lovers. She has never even held hands with a man, so she couldn’t help finding this situation odd.

Heesun replied, “Good, I’m glad. A lot of the time, things are sold out. Eunseo, your boyfriend is going to be so happy. Receiving a Hermes item for Christmas is a big deal.”

When Heesun teased her, Eunseo blushed and muttered, “I told you he’s not my boyfriend!”

“Sure, sure. By the way, did you eat lunch?”

“Not yet. I’m just coming back from the department store right now,” Eunseo answered.

“Why didn’t you eat something while you were waiting? You were too busy looking around, weren’t you?”

“Yes, there were so many pretty things, so time just flew by.”

“Did you get anything for yourself, Eunseo?”

“No, I was afraid I might not have enough money for the bracelet.”

“Gosh, I wish you would treat yourself from time to time!” Heesun narrowed her eyes before offering, “Okay, it’s too late to get to the cafeteria now, so… I have a sandwich I was going to eat as a snack later, so you need to eat that.”

Feeling frustrated, Jihwan loosened his tie angrily. He opened the window for some fresh air, but it didn’t help.

He couldn’t stop thinking about what he just saw.

“Eunseo, your boyfriend is going to be so happy. Receiving a Hermes item for Christmas is a big deal.”

Jihwan heard everything. He saw everything too. He saw how Kang Eunseo took out the orange shopping bag so happy to show it off to Heesun. Jihwan knew this brand very well.

“I told you he’s not my boyfriend!”

Jihwan knew exactly who that gift was for.

‘ It’s for that jerk Seo Hyunwoo.’
