The investigators slowed their attack upon hearing their colleague’s warning and surrounded Lin Fei.

Just as Lin Fei was feeling smug, a large fireball the size of a basin shot towards him at high speed.

Lin Fei noticed the anomaly, raised his right hand, and formed a flame shield.

The fireball collided with Lin Fei’s flame shield the moment it was completed. "Boom!" A loud explosion sent a wave of heat spreading in all directions, dispelling the cool night air and leaving only rolling heat.
