The text on the underside of the bed board made Han Fei's scalp tingle, as he was now experiencing the same feeling.

Something had been watching him ever since he entered the room. He could feel its gaze but couldn't find its location.

To get to the bottom of it, Han Fei gripped the fruit knife in his hand and crawled under the bed.

Compared to the clean and tidy room, the space under the bed was like another world.

The wooden bed board was covered with streaks of blood, and someone had recorded the final moments of their life with a pen.

"That eye appeared again. As soon as I turn off the lights, it watches me. Damn it, what the hell is that thing!"

"I can't escape. No matter where I hide, it can see me. It's always following me!"

"I'm going crazy! It even started appearing in the bottom of my water glass and the gaps between the fridge's food. Why does it hate me so much? What does it want?"

"Not just one! There are multiple eyes! They're everywhere in this room!"

"Every time I open my eyes, I see it. No matter where I wake up, the first thing I see is it! It hides in the gaps of the wardrobe, behind the bookshelf, and even in the gaps of the bed board!"

"It's everywhere!"

"Ha ha ha ha! I finally found a way to make it disappear!"

"Why! Why! Why can I still see it even after I blinded myself? Did it get into my eye sockets?"

At the beginning, the writing was relatively neat, but it became extremely messy later on, as if the writer was in a state of madness and anxiety.

After he blinded himself, the amount of writing decreased significantly, and most of it was bloody marks made with his fingers.

He kept repeating the same sentence, giving the impression that he had completely gone mad.

"The room looks normal on the surface, but such terrifying information is hidden under a bed board..."

The eyes in the room were like ghosts or a curse. Once you were affected, even gouging out your eyes wouldn't help you escape.

Putting the pillow back in place, Han Fei lay on it and observed the room from under the bed. He wanted to experience what the previous occupant had gone through to better understand their mindset and recreate the initial terror, just as he would when playing a role.

Compared to the spacious room, the narrow space under the bed seemed more secure.

"Where will the eye that drove the previous occupant mad appear?" Han Fei held the knife in one hand and left the other free, ready to touch the eyeball when the opportunity arose.

The room was silent, and Han Fei didn't see the eyeball, but he could feel it watching him.

His pupils moved in his eye sockets as he carefully observed the room. He had memorized the positions of all the furniture, so he could quickly notice any changes.

"I found it!" Han Fei, hiding under the bed, saw a doll appear in the hallway. "Is the ghost in the room the doll, or is the ghost hiding inside the doll? Do I need to destroy all the dolls with the knife?"

Everything was unknown. The previous occupant had left little useful information, only spreading fear.

While Han Fei was thinking, the doll in the hallway suddenly fell over. It lay on the ground, its eyes staring straight at Han Fei under the bed.

In an instant, Han Fei had a very bad feeling. He instinctively turned his head and saw a blood-red eye staring at him through a gap in the bed board.

In extreme fear, Han Fei's brain immediately ordered him to slash with the knife. However, when he raised his hand, the eye had already disappeared, as if it were just a hallucination.

Taking a deep breath, Han Fei looked at the hallway again. The doll was gone.

"Seeing a 'spider' isn't scary; what's scary is seeing it and then having it disappear quickly."

Han Fei knew a doll had left the room, but he didn't know where it had gone.

"Is it also under the bed?"

The more he thought about it, the more unsettling it became. Han Fei lifted the bed board, realizing there was no safe place in the room.

No matter where he hid, the eyes would see him. The only way to break the deadlock was to quickly find useful clues.

Looking at the text on the bed board, Han Fei realized the previous occupant wasn't killed directly but was slowly driven to death by the eyeball.

"The ghost in Room 1084 has a deep grudge. Such a ghost is the most terrifying, but for me, it's barely good news."

If the ghost slowly tormented him, Han Fei would have enough time to find a way out. If it killed him on sight, Han Fei would have to leave the game to save his life.

"Don't panic, keep your composure." Han Fei stopped thinking about the eyeball and the doll and went to the bookshelf, searching for a long time before finding a drawing book.

Opening the drawing book, he saw a child's doodles, most of which were about family. Many of the drawings had crooked words and pinyin written next to them.

"We moved into a new home! It's much bigger than our old one, and it has a piano and lots of dolls."

"Dad is my dad, and Mom is my mom. I don't allow anyone to call them that!"

"This is my home now, and Dad, Mom, and all the dolls are mine!"

"Why does she always try to take things from me? She lost her dad and mom and wants to take mine."

"I need to trick her away. She can't see, so she won't find her way back!"

"How did she find her way back? I hate her! I hate everything about her! I wish she would disappear forever!"

"Hehe, she's a blind girl. As long as I don't speak, she won't know it was me who killed her."

The colorful and bright doodles in the drawing book were accompanied by chilling text.

"There was another little girl living in this house. She killed another child with eye problems?"

Han Fei vaguely guessed something and continued searching the room. Finally, he found a certificate in the bottom drawer of the desk.

Because Ying Yue's parents died in an accident, and she was too young and had a congenital eye disease, making her unable to take care of herself, she was temporarily being cared for by her father's sister.

Next to the certificate, Han Fei also found a house transfer contract, but since Ying Yue was too young, the contract was not legally binding.

"I think I understand. Ying Yue was a girl with an eye disease, and this house originally belonged to her. After her parents died in an accident, her father's sister's family moved in and started taking care of her."
