Liu Biancheng said, "Indeed, this young fellow has been running on the Black Stone Road for five years. I have secretly observed him several times, and it is clear that he has already induced the primordial force to enter his body to temper his physical form. Although he has not yet reached the third stage of Body Cultivation, he is not far off. However, today, he seems to have encountered some trouble." He then briefly recounted what he had seen.
Xiao Mianchang frowned, "The Xiong family has indeed been acting too recklessly in recent years. If it weren't for their respectful attitude towards our Four Seasons Sect, I would have already taken action. As for Dong Lin, today's incident is his own fault, and he has no one to blame but himself."
"Brother, I also think so. This young fellow has only achieved his current status thanks to the legacy of our Master. Moreover, I happened to witness this event when I had just perfected my cultivation technique, which clearly indicates a special connection."
"Does the Sect Leader want to protect him?"
"What do you think, Brother?"
Xiao Mianchang thought for a moment, "It's fine."
Liu Biancheng nodded. He extended his hand, and a gentle breeze immediately rippled through the air, rustling the fallen leaves on the ground. His finger moved through the air, leaving a faint glow in its wake, and a command letter was completed. With a casual wave, the letter disappeared.

The Xiong family's group met Dong Lin at the southern city gate. Xiong Zhan and Xiong Feng, seated on their horses, quickly dismounted and bowed, "Brother Dong."
Dong Lin nodded slightly, "I have already heard about Xiong Tong. Please accept my condolences, Head of the Xiong family."
Xiong Zhan gritted his teeth, "This little bastard killed my son and crippled Dong Lin's arm. He deserves to die a thousand deaths! Given Brother Dong's special status, to avoid any controversy, we will take the Mo brothers back to the Xiong family compound and leave the rest to Brother Dong!"
Dong Lin replied, "Thank you, Brother Xiong." He then walked alongside Xiong Zhan and Xiong Feng into the southern city gate, with several Four Seasons Sect disciples and the Xiong family guards following closely behind, their auras intimidating.
"Brother, the scoundrel is here!" A Four Seasons Sect disciple pointed at the sign of the clinic. The street was empty, but many eyes were secretly watching.
A cold light flashed in Dong Lin's eyes, but suddenly his expression changed. The surrounding space suddenly stirred, and the primordial force converged to form a command letter, "End this matter today and return to the sect immediately."
A calm voice echoed, clearly coming from Liu Biancheng.
Dong Lin's eyes flashed with shock and reluctance, and he bowed, "I obey the Sect Leader's command!" He cast a deep glance at the clinic, his eyes filled with resentment and suspicion, but he did not delay and turned to leave. The Four Seasons Sect disciples, after their initial shock, looked at the clinic with newfound respect, their faces pale as they hurriedly followed Dong Lin.
Xiong Zhan and Xiong Feng exchanged glances, both seeing the fear in each other's eyes. The fact that the Sect Leader of the Four Seasons Sect had been alarmed suggested that the person in the clinic might have some connection to him. If so, Xiong Tong would have died in vain.
"Brother!" Xiong Feng whispered, shaking his head slowly.
Xiong Zhan's breathing grew rapid, and after a moment, he lowered his head in resignation, "Brother, I know the gravity of the situation. Let's go!" He spoke each word with great effort, almost grinding his teeth.
The Sect Leader's command, he dared not disobey!
Many hidden eyes showed shock, and when they looked at the clinic, they were filled with deep respect. They did not know what had happened, but the retreat of Dong Lin and the Xiong family spoke volumes!
Mo Yu's heart suddenly relaxed, and he realized he was covered in a layer of sweat, which had mixed with the dried blood, making him feel sticky and uncomfortable. He did not know why Dong Lin and the Xiong family had left, but he understood that his life might have been saved today. Without pausing to think, he hurried out of the clinic and quickly left amidst the respectful gazes.

Late at night, the Black Stone Road, already sparsely populated, was even more desolate. Occasionally, a thin beam of light from a window illuminated the fleeting black shadow that moved swiftly and silently, with a person on its back.
"Knock! Knock! Knock!"
The knocking sound echoed in the darkness, accompanied by a few barks. The light in the back room quickly turned on, and footsteps approached the door, "Who is it?" The voice was deliberately lowered, belonging to Aunt Lin.
The person outside said, "Aunt, it's me."
"Wait!" The sound of dismantling came from behind the door, and it creaked open. Aunt Lin was dressed neatly, showing no signs of sleep. The light from the hall illuminated the figure outside, which was Mo Yu, with Mo Liang, still unconscious, carefully carried on his back. Facing Aunt Lin's gaze, Mo Yu looked apologetic, "Aunt Lin, I'm sorry. I know coming here might cause you trouble, but Mo Liang needs someone to take care of him..."
Aunt Lin glared at him, "Do you think not coming here would keep us out of trouble? This is not the place to talk. Come in, and we'll discuss it. The room is already prepared."
"Okay!"
Mo Yu entered, and Aunt Lin cautiously looked around outside before closing the door. She quickly assembled a powerful crossbow, with a sharp arrow already loaded, and a thin rope tied to the trigger. If someone broke in, they would be met with a swift and deadly arrow. At this distance, even a third-stage Body Cultivator would likely be killed on the spot if caught off guard.
"Is it Little Mo? Come in quickly." Grandma Lin's voice came from behind the door, filled with concern.
"Grandma Lin, it's me. I'm sorry to trouble you and Aunt Lin." Mo Yu saw the blind old lady waiting there, and a warm feeling welled up in his heart.
"These past years, your aunt and I have relied on your care. It's only right to return the favor."
Aunt Lin said, "Grandma, Mo Liang is injured. Let's take him to his room first. It's too late for you to stay up. Go to bed and rest. We'll talk about it tomorrow."
"Alright, I'll go to bed. If anything happens, we'll discuss it tomorrow. Little Mo, since you're here, rest well. Get a good night's sleep to regain your strength." Grandma Lin got up, already familiar with the placement of every piece of furniture in the house, and went to bed without further ado.
Mo Yu followed Aunt Lin, carefully placing Mo Liang on the bed and checking his injuries, feeling a bit relieved.
"It's good that he doesn't have a fever. Mo Liang's injuries have stabilized. You don't need to worry too much." Aunt Lin said, "I've heard about today's events. The Xiong family has always been tyrannical. Why did they let you go today? And Dong Lin, who has a brother in the Four Seasons Sect, also let it go?"
Mo Yu shook his head, "There might be some hidden reasons, but I'm not sure of the details." The events of the day had left him exhausted, both physically and mentally. He rubbed his temples, which caused his arm to ache, making him wince.
Aunt Lin's face showed concern, "You're injured? Where? How serious?"
"Just some superficial injuries, nothing serious. I'll be fine after a few days of rest."
"I heard Xiong Tong was a third-stage Body Cultivator. You were lucky to kill him, but how could you be unharmed? Fortunately, your injuries are not severe. We have some ointments for bruises and injuries, passed down through our family. They are very effective for superficial injuries. I'll go prepare a hot bath for you. Take a good bath and apply the ointment to avoid any hidden injuries."
Half an hour later, the bathroom was filled with steam. Mo Yu leaned against the wooden tub, his hands resting on the edge. He closed his eyes slightly, his mind reflecting on the events of the day. He did not regret crippling Dong Lin or killing Xiong Tong. Even if the events were to repeat, he would still do the same. However, he could not understand why Dong Lin and the Xiong family had suddenly backed off. After pondering for a while, he still had no clue, so he slowly pushed the thought aside. Just then, the door opened, and Mo Yu's body tensed. Recognizing the familiar footsteps, he relaxed and quickly said, "Aunt Lin, I'm not done yet, wait a moment!"
"Little Mo Yu, you're shy now? What happened to the courage you and Mo Liang had when you peeked at me bathing?" Aunt Lin closed the door behind her and walked in, her eyes landing on his bare upper body. Her face quickly turned red, perhaps due to the high temperature and steam in the bathroom.
"Aunt Lin, that was a misunderstanding. How can you still remember it?"
"Stop talking nonsense. I brought the ointment. Apply it while your skin is relaxed and the blood flow is faster." Aunt Lin walked to the tub without hesitation, holding a box of ointment.
Mo Yu paused for a moment, then slowly sat up.
Aunt Lin did not say much, opened the ointment, and took some with her white fingers, applying it to the bruised areas on his body. When her fingers touched him, Mo Yu's body stiffened, his muscles tensing. After a while, he gradually relaxed. Aunt Lin's touch was gentle, and her fingertips were soft, like a cat's tongue lightly licking his skin, causing no pain. The faint fragrance from behind, a mix of the ointment and Aunt Lin's scent, which he had already noticed on the towel earlier, made his heart beat faster and his breathing deeper. He tried to control his thoughts, but the low breaths behind him, Aunt Lin's breath on his neck, seemed to have a catalytic effect, threatening to shatter his rationality.
She leaned forward, her hand moving down his chest, her hair brushing against his face, and her chest pressing against his back. The soft and elastic sensation proved that her clothes were very thin, and there was nothing else beneath them. Mo Yu knew that if he wanted to, he could easily pull the mature and beautiful woman behind him into his arms and enjoy her, a realization he had come to two years ago.
But Mo Yu had never taken that step, because he had to keep his promise...
Five years ago, in the cold winter, snow fell heavily outside the Four Seasons City. Two thin and injured young boys arrived, the older one carrying the younger, who was unconscious, as they slowly crawled into the city.
A blind old lady at the city gate saved them.
After eating and resting, the older boy knelt before the old lady, listening to her say, "I saved you out of compassion, but I am a blind old woman living with my widowed daughter-in-law. I cannot take you in. If you want to stay, you must swear to treat her only as your sister-in-law and never do anything to betray the memory of the deceased!" At the time, he did not understand the meaning of her words, but thinking of his unconscious and feverish brother, he bowed and agreed.
Mo Yu suddenly came to his senses, his strong hand gripping the delicate hand that had reached his abdomen, and he whispered, "Aunt Lin!"
