Tokimori was unable to answer the head of household’s

question. Nor could his mind actually grasp what was happening. As

soon as he calmed down to think, he still couldn’t understand.

Tokimori always believed Yato was a weak, small demon.

“Don’t

pick on Tokimori!”

Yato cut through the heavy

atmosphere.

“Hey, Yase head of household. Don’t

misunderstand. Tokimori didn’t know a thing. I wanted him. I decided

I wanted to become Tokimori’s demon, and to be with him always. Since

being this big scared him, and made him cry, I just made myself more

small and compact. It’s nothing to make a big deal out of.”

Yato

shrugged with his arms out, palms facing up. His behavior was as if

he couldn’t believe they were dumb enough not to know. The head of

household didn’t fall for his provoking, and responded coldly.

“You

even went as far as changing the amount of fingers you show.”

“That

doesn’t fit in with a small demon, right? If even the smallest thing

is off, you guys from the main household will butt in. Like you are

now. If the main household goes into an uproar, my cute Tokimori will

panic. Unlike you all, he’s sensitive. I have to protect him.”

“You

know quite a lot about the Yase family. You demons must talk among

yourselves about us.”
