was born, I knew about you guys. That’s it. If Tokimori had never

been born, I would have never gotten involved with you all.”

“So,

it has to be Tokimori no matter what?”

“I have no interest

in anyone other than Tokimori. While we’re at it, I’ll tell you this,

head of household. Once Tokimori graduates from college, we’ll be

moving away from the family, and living happily ever after, just the

two of us. Since we’ve been working like you want until now, don’t

get in our way.”

“That’s not going to happen.”

“What

was that?”

Yato tried to sound threatening, but Masanori

didn’t flinch.

“Tokimori, stand.”

“Y-Yes.”

Tokimori,

whose legs had gone out, gathered strength to his shaky limbs, and

stood up. Yato quietly held out his hand, but he didn’t intend on

taking it. His long claws weren’t exposed, but he was scared. Such a

large hand didn’t belong to Yato .

“You know of the Yase

family traditions. Whoever employs the strongest demon will take

their place as head of the Yase household. Among the current demon

servants employed, I have no doubt your demon is the strongest. I’m

also getting older. Once I retire, you will become head of

household.”
