Afterword

To any first-time readers, it’s niceto meet you. And to the people who already know me, I’m reallyhappy that we got to meet again. I’m Ebisu Seiji.

Now then, what did you think about thefifth volume of ‘Ore Ga Suki Nano Wa Imouto Dakedo Imouto Janai’?I would be delighted if you liked it. And, to the people who startedwith the afterword, I hope that you like this volume.

This time as well, Yuu had to gothrough another round of suffering (?) with the help of Suzuka, butthe exchanges between these two siblings still haven’t changed alltoo much. Suzuka for her part still can’t be honest with herself,while Yuu seems to be moving forward at a very slow pace. But maybesomething will change in the next volume…? Even I am excited tofind out how they will move forward.

But there’s something even moreimportant that I have to announce here. Though it was alreadyofficially announced, I feel the need to scream it at the top of mylungs here as well.

The planning phase for the animeadaptation of ‘Ore Ga Suki Nano Wa Imouto Dakedo Imouto Janai’has started!!!

Even I didn’t expect that. When I gotthe news, I didn’t say “Really?! Yes!!!”, but just “…Excuseme?” because I couldn’t believe it. Because of that, I reallymissed my chance to celebrate it, and even though I’m writing aboutit in this afterword, I still feels like I’m in a trance. Thatbeing said, I’m still honored to receive this chance, so I swearright here that I will give it my best.

Concerning the anime production, I dohave some additional information. Speaking about mixed media, work onthe manga serialization has already started! You can find moreinformation about that in this month’s Dragon Age. The oneresponsible for the manga will be Narita Kou-san.

At first, I wondered “What is thisserialization thing going to look like?”, but as soon as I saw himin person, I understood immediately. He took the perfectillustrations from Gintarou-san, gave them a bit of his own flair,and made them even cuter! “Ahhh, this is nice~” is what I thoughtback then, but now I’m completely convinced.

It’s a weird feeling, seeing one’sown work getting turned into an anime like this. Somehow it feelslike it’s someone else’s work.

But even though this is purely my ownsubjective opinion, I would like to advertise a bit! Please watch it!I beg of you! I’m sure that you will like it!

…But, well, leaving that aside fornow, I still have to thank some people, right?

This time as well, Gintarou-san drewsome fantastic and overwhelmingly cute illustrations, which alwaysgives me a great boost of motivation!

And, lastly, I have to give my thanksto all the people who made it possible for me to publish this book.To the people who have stayed with this series from the first volume,to the people who took this fifth novel into their hands, I thank youfrom the bottom of my heart.
