Chapter 10

"Any combat is nothing more than a combination of strength and technique!"

Shen Yue didn’t delay, sweeping away her previous cheerful demeanor. She stood tall, her eyes sharp, exuding a commanding presence that hinted at a grand master’s aura.

Su Chen also listened attentively, of course, with the chip’s scanning function already activated.

This wasn’t because he doubted his memory, but because the chip’s scanning was far more meticulous than his human eyes.

A 360-degree, no-blind-spot scan was no joke, surpassing any video recording equipment.

"Recommend activating Level 2 synchronized scanning, consuming 0.1 points of the host’s mental energy per minute."

"Activate!"

Su Chen thought Level 2 must be more powerful than Level 1, allowing him to see more clearly and learn more. With his mental energy at 1.2, according to the chip’s calculations, he could sustain it for ten minutes.

Curious about what Level 2 scanning was like, he had just the thought when he felt a warmth in his nose, almost spitting out blood.

Shen Yue was demonstrating the method of generating power for a punch. According to her, to break through the Iron Wolf’s external body training, one must learn to use penetrating force and double force.

In simple terms, it meant striking the internal organs through the skin.

In his mind, Shen Yue stood in a one-legged horse stance, exerting force with her feet, slightly twisting her waist, and then her extended right arm’s fist vibrated, producing a "snap" sound in the air.

Without bending her arm, she generated power through the vibration of her muscles and bones, bursting the air. This technique left Su Chen in awe, his heart racing with excitement.

However, the reason his nose almost bled wasn’t because of this.

In the Level 2 scan, Shen Yue’s clothes had completely disappeared, revealing her body’s muscles and bones in intricate detail...

Seeing that luminous body, Su Chen felt the impact was too great, almost losing his composure.

"Cough... cough."

Su Chen’s breathing became labored, and he coughed, touching his nose to find no blood, which reassured him.

Even so, he felt his face burning, feeling extremely embarrassed.

"Pay attention, watch carefully, I will only teach this three times. Power comes from the ground, the waist is the pivot. This punch uses a thrusting force, and when the second force is applied, the waist twists and the arm vibrates, using a jarring force..."

Shen Yue demonstrated three times, her expression solemn and focused.

Su Chen, feeling ashamed, quickly gathered his thoughts and carefully felt the subtleties of the technique, gradually gaining some understanding.

However, many aspects were still unclear, and without practice, he didn’t know how to ask for guidance. He decided to ponder it further after returning.

As for the perfect body in his mind’s scan, he didn’t dare to look at it again, fearing he might embarrass himself.

He would study the muscle and bone structure in detail later.

His mental fortitude was lacking!

He had heard that some wealthy young masters received training from a young age to resist the enemy’s "beauty trap."

His family was poor, and he had never experienced such training, so it was normal that he couldn’t resist.

Suppressing his wandering thoughts, Su Chen tried the technique several times but couldn’t grasp the key.

Shen Yue’s eyes showed some disappointment, thinking he probably couldn’t learn it.

For a young man who had only practiced free fighting as a sparring partner and had no experience with traditional martial arts or Wing Chun, this "double force" seemed too advanced.

It wasn’t his fault; he could only hope for the best.

It was just a side plan; whether he learned it or not, it was up to fate.

"Practice this move at home. I see that you have a good sense of opportunity. If you can grasp the basics, you can break through the Iron Wolf’s defense. If you can’t, it’s fine."

"Next, I’ll teach you a footwork technique. Pay attention to my waist."

Shen Yue didn’t care if Su Chen understood, demonstrating offensive, defensive, and evasive footwork on her own.

Su Chen found this footwork technique not particularly complex. It involved maintaining a stance without moving, and then Shen Yue’s figure slid around within a two-meter radius.

He couldn’t see her lifting her feet, only her figure moving left, right, forward, and backward.

She walked through it slowly twice, explaining the key points, and then stopped, not asking Su Chen to try it.

"Did you remember?"

Shen Yue put on her coat, picked up the black-framed glasses from the table, and put them on, asking indifferently.

"I remember."

Su Chen wasn’t sure if it was his imagination, but he felt Shen Yue seemed a bit colder, her voice tinged with disappointment.

"Putting on glasses turns you into an ice queen, or are you disappointed that I didn’t learn it? It’s not a big deal now. I have the chip’s scan, and I can learn it by force. With the learning chip, there’s nothing I can’t learn."

Su Chen wasn’t disheartened.

Understanding this footwork and punch technique made his heart burn with excitement, as if he had seen a new world.

The so-called techniques of borrowing and unloading force he had learned from two years of sparring were just child’s play, not worth mentioning.

Unfortunately, Shen Yue didn’t know this. She didn’t think Su Chen could learn advanced techniques in a short time just by watching a few times.

Her decision to teach him the technique was a last-ditch effort, hoping it would be useful for a certain matter.

If it failed, it was just a failed attempt, with no real loss.

"Come with me. I’ll take you to my uncle, and he’ll give you some benefits. There might be a surprise."

Shen Yue quickly put aside her disappointment and smiled.

Su Chen, confused, followed her into the elevator and up to the 21st floor, entering an office as large as a basketball court, where he saw a man with gray hair sitting in a boss’s chair.

He was looking down at the bustling city below, as if surveying his subjects.

"Uncle, the ‘Rising Dragon’ plan we agreed on has started. What about the benefits you promised?"

Shen Yue’s clear, bell-like voice sounded almost playful.

Su Chen was greatly surprised, thinking this woman had a girlish side, just as Aunt Gu had said, women were natural actresses.

"I haven’t forgotten, Moon. I only promised one benefit. Have you thought it through? This young man doesn’t seem to have good bones. Are you sure you want to give it to him?" The gray-haired man turned his chair, his face devoid of any smile, and glanced at Su Chen.

Shen Yue hesitated, looking at the bewildered Su Chen, and finally nodded: "I’ve decided. Give it to him. Don’t judge a book by its cover; he might be capable."

"Ah! You’re too hasty. We still have three years. Fine, I’ll do it for you. Who else would I give it to? I can only help you this once."

Shen Yue bit her lip, her eyes determined: "Then please fulfill your promise, Uncle."

The gray-haired man didn’t take her stubbornness seriously. He opened a drawer, took out a small white jade box, glanced at it, and flicked his finger.

The jade box shot towards Su Chen’s chest, moving extremely fast. Su Chen was startled, hearing a rumbling sound, though he wasn’t sure if it was real.

He focused his mind, reaching out as if to catch a punch during his sparring sessions, ready to neutralize the force on the jade box.

Though his strength wasn’t great, his eyes were sharp, a result of his experience in sparring.

Judging by the speed of the jade box and the rumbling sound, he knew the impact would be powerful.

He could have caught it forcefully, but he knew jade wasn’t a sturdy material. What if it broke?

Seeing how much Shen Yue had insisted on getting this, he knew it was precious. He couldn’t catch it forcefully; he had to neutralize the force to protect the contents.

Su Chen’s blood rushed, his face turning red as he prepared to catch the jade box.

The moment his right hand touched the jade box, he was surprised. The jade box suddenly stopped in mid-air.

The arrow-like speed and the rumbling sound vanished.

Su Chen, expecting a powerful impact, found himself catching nothing. The jade box landed lightly in his palm.

He stumbled forward, almost crushing the jade box. The wrong use of force left him feeling nauseous, and he had to cough a few times to recover.

Looking up at the old man with gray hair, Su Chen’s eyes were full of shock.

The old man’s technique was too subtle; he couldn’t fathom it. If he were to fight him, he might not even last one move.

Sometimes as heavy as a mountain, sometimes as light as a feather, how could he block such a punch?

"Ha ha..."

The old man laughed: "Moon, this young man can barely beat a C-level boxer. How can he compete? You’ve made a mistake."

"Uncle, the choice of person is my business. I think he’s suitable. Since that’s the case, I won’t disturb you further."

"Why not, ha ha!" The old man laughed mockingly, not looking at Su Chen again.

Shen Yue’s face darkened, giving Su Chen a fierce glare, and pulled him out of the room.

Just before leaving, Su Chen activated the scan and saw a white light enveloping the old man, nearly two feet high, with a faint yellow hue.
