Thinking about the note from Shen Yue, Su Chen saw that it was almost nine o'clock and decided to go up to the 18th floor of the building, Shuiyue Pavilion.
There is no love or hate without a reason.
"Shen Yue coming to find me is certainly not because of my youthful good looks; she must have some plan. This is not important. Since she said she can help me, I'll go and see."
Su Chen muttered to himself.
Although he acted as if he didn't care about Iron Wolf in front of Heizi, he didn't really think that way.
Iron Wolf's whip kick could break the air and produce a sonic boom, and he really couldn't think of a way to deal with it.
Blocking with hands would break hands, blocking with legs would break legs. He couldn't block, so he could only dodge.
Even if Iron Wolf's speed wasn't slow, in such a small ring, how many moves could he dodge?
The 18th floor was completely different from the 1st and 2nd floors. It wasn't a place for practice or competition but a residence for the upper echelons.
Tianwu Group was a large and powerful company, and the status determined the living quarters. Just by looking at which floor someone lived on, one could tell their rank.
Su Chen looked at the ancient-style floor, which resembled an ancient residence, and was stunned for a moment before regaining his senses.
He never imagined that in such a highly modernized building, someone would design it to look like an ancient courtyard.
A gentle breeze blew, and a gravel path wound its way through the area, with carved beams and painted pillars everywhere.
More absurdly, there was a small garden in the middle of the floor, even a rockery, and a fountain beside it, with fish swimming in the pond.
"Kid, did you come to the wrong place? You can't just barge into the 18th floor. Be careful, or you might get your legs broken and thrown out."
A young man walked up, staring at Su Chen, sizing him up from head to toe, with a half-smile.
This young man was dressed in a pure white silk dragon-patterned practice suit, with a tall and straight posture, and a proud look in his eyes.
Su Chen knew what his gaze meant. Compared to his own cheap sportswear, which cost less than 100 yuan, he looked overly plain.
"Doctor Shen called me to come see her."
Su Chen felt a chill and quickly replied.
This young man looked like a playboy, with a strong and tall build, but his attitude was unpleasant. However, his movements were extraordinary.
When Su Chen first came upstairs, he saw this young man watching fish by the pond. In just a few breaths, he was in front of him, covering a distance of fifty meters without running, just walking normally.
This agility made Su Chen's pride in his own speed seem like a joke.
Su Chen quietly activated the scan and saw a white flame rising a foot and three inches from the young man's body, exuding a powerful pressure.
This playboy-like young man was actually an expert, which surprised Su Chen.
He had scanned Heizi and Iron Wolf before, and understood the significance of the white flame. Heizi's body only emitted a faint light, while Iron Wolf's white light extended about six to seven inches outside his body, far inferior to the young man.
"Doctor Shen?" The young man was taken aback, his eyes becoming sharp, as if he was about to get angry. He looked at Su Chen and then smiled. "You're here at the behest of Senior Sister Shen. Alright, I'll take you there. By the way, I'm Hongquan Lin Guofei. Which school are you from?"
Su Chen was a bit puzzled. The sign for Shuiyue Pavilion was right there, so why did he need to be guided?
What was Hongquan? Was there still a school system in modern times?
"I'm not from any school. I'm a sparring partner from the 1st floor, Su Chen."
Su Chen said calmly.
Although Lin Guofei said he would guide him, he clearly didn't take him seriously, as evident from the slight disdain in his eyes.
Not knowing his intentions, Su Chen didn't object.
He noticed that as Lin Guofei approached, two black-clad men, who were likely armed, retreated into the shadows.
"Isn't Shen Yue just a small doctor? How did she become such a big shot, with bodyguards at her residence?"
Su Chen thought to himself, following Lin Guofei to the door of Shuiyue Pavilion.
Lin Guofei knocked on the redwood carved door, smiling brightly, and called out loudly, "Senior Sister Shen, Senior Sister Shen, I've brought a guest for you, his name is Su..."
"Su Chen!"
Su Chen rolled his eyes and replied irritably.
He had just introduced himself, and Lin Guofei already forgot his name. What kind of person was this?
He also realized that Lin Guofei just wanted to see Shen Yue and was looking for any excuse to come up.
"It's Brother Su Chen. What did Senior Sister ask him to do? I can do it better."
"Let him come in by himself. You don't need to come in. Go back and tell Uncle that I'll visit him later."
A clear voice came from inside, accompanied by the sound of raindrops on banana leaves.
"Uh..."
Lin Guofei was stunned, glared at Su Chen, and then left.
Su Chen shook his head, not taking it to heart.
This Lin Guofei was strange, not daring to offend Shen Yue in the slightest, yet threatening him. What was he thinking?
Su Chen pushed the door open and saw Shen Yue standing with her legs slightly bent in a strange posture, bathed in the soft sunlight coming through the window.
In front of her stood a wooden dummy with four protruding wooden poles. Her arms moved in a blur, striking the poles with a "pitter-patter" sound, like raindrops, endlessly.
Su Chen was stunned, his eyes wide, unable to see the shadow of Shen Yue's strikes and kicks. His heart was filled with excitement.
Iron Wolf's "blade kick" was already very powerful and fast, but compared to Shen Yue's strikes, it was nothing.
He imagined a confrontation between the two and was certain that with just one kick from Iron Wolf, Shen Yue could land five or six punches. They were not in the same league.
"Beep, detected wooden dummy training method, recorded and scanned."
The chip had its own judgment and automatically worked on anything that could enhance the host's strength, which Su Chen found very satisfying.
After a minute, Shen Yue finally stopped, retracted her fists, and took a deep breath.
The air flowed like a sharp sword, leaving a long white trail in the scattered sunlight. Su Chen saw the one-foot-eight-inch white flame around Shen Yue's body and was inwardly shocked.
Compared to Lin Guofei, this woman's blood and qi were much stronger, her vitality extremely robust, contrary to her gentle and weak appearance.
"You're here! Sit down."
Shen Yue removed her black-rimmed glasses, and Su Chen noticed her eyes were particularly striking, with long, arched eyebrows and slightly upturned eyes.
Even with a serious face, she seemed to be full of affection, making it hard to look away.
"No wonder she always wears those old-fashioned black-rimmed glasses. I thought it was to look scholarly, but it was to hide these eyes."
Su Chen instantly understood Lin Guofei's mindset and felt a bit wronged. All men who approached Shen Yue would be resented by him.
"Do you know who your opponent is for this boxing match?" Shen Yue asked with a slight smile.
"It's Iron Wolf."
Su Chen's face turned a bit bitter. Seeing Shen Yue's strength and her living quarters, he didn't hide his thoughts.
Pretending to be strong and saying he could win was basically useless.
His strength was far inferior to Iron Wolf, and it couldn't be hidden from an expert.
"Iron Wolf is a graduate of the Death Training Camp with excellent grades. He practices external body-strengthening techniques, and both his offense and defense are much stronger than yours. Normally, you wouldn't stand a chance against him."
A faint pity flashed in Shen Yue's eyes.
"But, there is still a glimmer of hope."
She reached up to adjust her hair, sitting gracefully on a redwood chair, not caring about the large expanse of white skin revealed by her tight, off-shoulder top.
"What can I do to help you?"
Su Chen ignored Shen Yue's alluring appearance. Compared to his life, everything else was trivial.
To gain something, one must pay a price. He was always reasonable and wouldn't expect free help from others.
This was related to his early life, where he had to take on the responsibility of supporting his family, seeing the coldness of the world.
Su Chen's mother passed away when he was twelve, and he and his younger sister, Su Ling'er, relied on each other. It's easy to imagine the hardships they endured.
Especially Su Chen, who had to protect his sister, which led to his habit of reading people's intentions.
Seeing Su Chen's calm face, Shen Yue was moved and spoke more sincerely.
She knew the young man in front of her was a sensible person, so she didn't need to say more. She said seriously, "I'll make a deal with you. I'll teach you boxing, and you'll help me with something."
"What is it?"
"I'll tell you after the first match, if you're still alive."
Shen Yue smiled seductively, looking almost playful.
Su Chen also smiled, saying sarcastically, "That's true. If I'm dead in three days, I won't be able to do anything."
"But, Doctor Shen, are you so confident that I can defeat Iron Wolf in just three days?"
"It depends on your insight. I believe in you. When you were sparring with Mad Dog, your punch strength was only a little over 300 pounds, barely qualifying. But in the end, you killed him. Now, you should be at the D-level boxer stage. If you can tap into your potential, you have a chance to beat Iron Wolf."
Su Chen was greatly surprised. Did someone record his punch strength
