Chapter 10: I’m just an innocent bunny bun

An Xingzhou was rendered speechless by Peng Ci’s imaginative ability.

If you were to say that its brain worked well, it actually was dimwitted. There wasn’t any rabbit with a functioning brain that could get its head stuck in the storage shelf.

But if you were to say that its head didn’t work well, its storytelling ability was actually top-tier, making something out of nothing. It thought it out well. It could sing praises of true love just by relying on its imagination.

An Xingzhou sometimes thought that Peng Ci was cute, but other times he thought Peng Ci was annoying. The one human and one rabbit hadn’t even interacted for more than 24 hours, yet An Xingzhou had already jumped a countless number of times over the thin line between love and hate.

An Xingzhou and Peng Ci froze at the same time. The human and rabbit quietly glanced at each other, and Peng Ci immediately closed its eyes, playing dead.

An Xingzhou looked at the unmoving Peng Ci and turned around stiffly, a plan forming in his mind amidst his panic. He smiled at the rapidly approaching store employee and raised the rabbit he was clutching in his hand, saying, “It’s a misunderstanding. This is my toy.”

“Toy?” The store employee was a middle aged man of around forty or fifty years. After hearing what An Xingzhou said, he looked at An Xingzhou suspiciously and then looked at the completely silent rabbit in his hand, asking, “Such a realistic toy?”

“Yeah, yeah. Life-like rabbit toys are very popular abroad.” An Xingzhou held Peng Ci with his hands and tossed Peng Ci from side to side, showing the store employee. “Even its fur is made from real rabbit fur. Isn’t it amazing?!”

The store employee clearly didn’t believe it either, opening his mouth to say, “Then does your rabbit also know how to eat, poop, and pee, sir?”

An Xingzhou: “…”
