The firefighter laughingly let out an “ooh”.

The firefighter wasn’t a very old man. One could tell that he was only just over twenty, even a little younger than An Xingzhou.

Now that the little bunny had been rescued, that aura around him immediately disappeared, and he became a lively young man with a curiosity befitting of his age.

He watched that chubby little bunny’s fur suddenly stand on end with its round tail standing upright and as it threw itself straight into An Xingzhou’s embrace. He couldn’t help but feel his hand itch.

This rabbit’s butt was too round and so chubby. It looked like it would be so nice to poke.

The firefighter couldn’t help rubbing his chin with his index finger, asking An Xingzhou, “What happened? Why did its fur suddenly stand on end?”

Peng Ci didn’t know that there was someone currently coveting after its big chubby butt. It thought it had been exposed and that it was going to be taken away for biological experimenting and was currently busy arching its butt upwards and stuffing its head into An Xingzhou’s elbow, wanting to hide its little head.

It was unknown where little animals’ burrowing instinct came from. As if hiding its little head would keep it from getting caught, completely disregarding that its body and butt was still nakedly exposed.

Peng Ci was currently working hard to use its paws to push An Xingzhou’s elbows apart, stuffing its ears and head inside together. But just as it finished stuffing in this end, those two huge ears leapt out from the other end with a flutter

The firefighter was watching Peng Ci all along and was infatuated from the cuteness, but also felt very confused at the same time. It was only after he was confused for a while that he came to a realization: “Oh! So it was like that!”

An Xingzhou: “?”

So it was like what? I haven’t even thought of an explanation yet, and you just went and finished explaining it to yourself?

The firefighter wanted to rub the little bunny who was shaking its butt and burrowing its head, but was also afraid that he would scare it. So he could only control himself with difficulty.

“It was probably scared. After all, it’s so small and was stuck for so long…” The firefighter said with a tender and envious expression. “It really trusts you so much. It kept rubbing against your chest, just like it’s looking for its mommy to drink milk. Your relationship is really great!”

Peng Ci’s ears jumped out from inside An Xingzhou’s elbow with a “pew”, its tail not moving either.

Drinking milk?

The little bunny smacked its lips, its throat swallowing with a “gulp” and its ears straightening. Drink milky!

An Xingzhou calmly pushed back the head the little bunny wanted to raise, swiftly wedging it back under his elbow. He smiled while saying to the firefighter, “It’s possible it got scared and wanted to find someplace to burrow in. Sorry for the trouble today. You even had to run here specially for this matter.”

“No problem, no problem!” The firefighter waved his hands hurriedly, the tips of his ears a little red. “This is what we’re supposed to do. It’s just…um…can I rub—no, touch this little bunny?”

Peng Ci pulled its head out from under An Xingzhou’s elbow, telling the firefighter: “Squeak squeak!” You kwan’t!

The firefighter clapped his hands in surprise. “Is it talking to me?!”

“Yeah.” An Xingzhou still had that unchanging expression and grabbed Peng Ci, passing it forward. He told the firefighter, “It means ‘Yes. I’m very happy, touch me.’”

Peng Ci: “?!!”

Peng Ci crazily struggled in An Xingzhou’s hands, its little limbs kicking weakly in midair. “Squeak squeak! Squeak squeak! Coo coo! Sob——”

“Heh…heh heh…” The firefighter just extended his hand when it was kicked away by Peng Ci.

He rubbed the back of his palm where he had been kicked and looked at the screaming little bunny, saying in confusion “This is… Does this mean that it wanted to be touched so badly, it got too excited?”

An Xingzhou raised his eyebrows. Unexpectedly, this little fellow in front of him had a pretty strong imagination.

“It’s possible…” An Xingzhou asked, “Are you touching it?”

“Whatever.” The firefighter’s hand itched a bit, but upon remembering that the little bunny was a very weak little animal, it was better not to touch it.

“Okay.” An Xingzhou didn’t have any sympathetic expressions either. He took Peng Ci back and rubbed Peng Ci while he was at it.

Peng Ci was a little angry.

Right now it wasn’t sweet little bunny, it was fuming little bunny.

How could Wife give me to somebody else to touch! I only let Wife touch me!

Wife treated me badly, so I’m not going to even let Wife touch me!

I’m going to teach Wife a lesson and let him know that I’m also a temperamental little bunny bun!

But in the end Peng Ci hadn’t even thought about it for two seconds when it started snoring from An Xingzhou’s rubbing, its body trembling uncontrollably. It started grinding its teeth again.

Whatever.

I love Wife. A real man can’t argue with his wife.

“Squeak squeak——” Peng Ci started to rub against An Xingzhou’s hand in self-service, rubbing until An Xingzhou sent the firefighter off. It then immediately opened its mouth to talk. “Wife, I don’t blame you! I’m a reasonable man!”

An Xingzhou: “?”

What?

Because of the matter of Peng Ci getting caught in the storage shelf, they were held up for around two hours at home before they finally left according to plan.

An Xingzhou still couldn’t find a vegetable basket at the end.

But thinking about it, it made sense. Where would he, a single otaku, get a vegetable basket?

Peng Ci was a good bunny bun who loved its Wife. It wasn’t willing for Wife to be troubled over how to bring him outside and crouched in An Xingzhou’s embrace, saying, “You really don’t need to! I can crouch on Wife’s shoulder! Steadily!”

An Xingzhou acutely noticed that Peng Ci’s hind legs in his hand started to tense up again and hurriedly pinched Peng Ci’s nape, warning him: “Don’t jump! If you get stuck somewhere again, I’ll definitely throw you out!”

“Sigh——” Peng Ci released a long, sorrowful sigh and slowly crouched down. “Wife, I’m very amazing. Just now it was only a tiny mistake.”

“Mistake?” An Xingzhou walked back into the kitchen while carrying Peng Ci. He scooped it up and placed it on the cooking table, letting Peng Ci confront the tragic situation of the bowls and chopsticks. “You messed up all my dishes and didn’t even let the drinking cups off. Later, I’ll even have to spend money to replace these things again. And you’re saying…this is only a tiny mistake?”

Peng Ci felt that the cooking counter was hot.

Its little pawsies stomped on the cooking counter in small steps, turning around while stomping. As long as it couldn’t see it, the situation didn’t exist.

Idealistic little bunny.

“I’m not jumping anymore…” Peng Ci staggeringly stood up, one little paw placed in front of its chest, the other extending to push at An Xingzhou lightly. “Wife, huggies!”

“Hmph. You do the calculations yourself, how much money did you trick me into spending the first day you came into the house?” An Xingzhou laughed coldly as he picked up Peng Ci. After thinking it over, he brought the little bunny back to his room again, throwing Peng Ci onto the soft bed and opening the closet to look for something.

Peng Ci rolled from the edge of the bed to the middle interior of the bed and then placed its little legs on the wall, forcefully kicking off and rolling back. Then it pushed off of the edge, continuing to roll back and forth.

An Xingzhou was currently going through the closet and finally found the rose-patterned silk scarf his mom forgot to bring back with her the last time she came with difficulty.

He remembered Peng Ci getting wet from the rain and was afraid it would get a cold from the wind outside, so he wanted to find something to wrap around Peng Ci to bring him outside. But when he turned around, holding the silk scarf, he just happened to witness the scene of Peng Ci going overboard with kicking the wall and rolling straight off the bed.

An Xingzhou: “…”

Peng Ci fell under the bed with a smack. It laid on the floor like a corpse and stayed silent for a few seconds before crying with a “waah.”
