Chapter 8: Wife, hurry and help me take photos!

By the time Peng Ci finished admiring its beauty and acting coquettishly, ten minutes had passed.

An Xingzhou couldn’t stand Peng Ci’s pleading and whining. In the end, he lifted his phone and prepared to take photos of Peng Ci. But then Peng Ci got unhappy.

An Xingzhou was already numb.

He just directly put the phone on the shelf Peng Ci was crouching on, saying with his hands on his hips, “Do it yourself!”

Peng Ci didn’t have the slightest sense that it was being disdained and being annoying. Peng Ci had the front camera photo mode open and stuffed half of its rabbit face in front of the camera, reflecting itself, and then downloaded several filters in succession. It adjusted the beautification level to the highest and then used its paws to push the phone forward, turning towards An Xingzhou, who was leaning at the side in a daze, to say, “Wife, I’m done! Hurry and help me take photos!”

An Xingzhou walked over and speechlessly picked up the phone. But he didn’t think that Peng Ci had left the front camera mode open. He noticed himself appearing in the phone upon raising his eyes and was caught by surprise. An Xingzhou subconsciously frowned and tucked his chin in, keeping far away from the phone. He switched it to rear camera mode with the scrunched up expression of an old man looking at a phone in confusion and said after directing it at Peng Ci, “This is the… very popular BeautyCam you were talking about?”

“Yeah! Doesn’t it look good?!” Peng Ci jumped in place a few times and extended its paws to pull down one of its long ears, hiding half of its face and saying hesitatingly, “I’m ready! Wife, hurry and take photos!”

An Xingzhou looked at the rabbit, whose surroundings were full of rainbows and silently applied the next filter. The rainbows became green butterflies, just happening to land on the red roses on the silk scarf.

The scene was very beautiful, and An Xingzhou didn’t want to take photos anymore.

He couldn’t understand the aesthetic of this rabbit, who was currently shyly posing, at all. This might be the difference between the aesthetics of humans and rabbits or of humans and demons.

An Xingzhou quietly sighed. Seeing Peng Ci cup its cheeks with its little paws, in the end, he still pressed the camera button in humiliation.

Whatever, just let it be. It was just that he still didn’t understand one thing.

An Xingzhou watched Peng Ci’s rapid model-like pose switching/changing as he expressionlessly pressed the camera button with an explosive hand speed and asked, “It’s not as if this retouching feature can recognize rabbit faces. Is there any use in raising the beautification level so high?”

“Oh.” An Xingzhou finished taking the last photo expressionlessly and successfully finished work. Extremely scared that Peng Ci was going to make some ruckus in front of the mirror again, he quickly slipped his phone in his pants pockets and placed Peng Ci on his shoulder with a scoop, quickly leaving this trouble spot.

Peng Ci crouched on An Xingzhou’s shoulder obediently and followed An Xingzhou to the living room. Then it silently watched An Xingzhou wear his shoes, and when An Xingzhou pushed open the door, it suddenly asked, “What were we going to do again? Are we going to go outside and continue taking photos?”

“Mmph mmph——” Peng Ci flopped a few times in the pocket and squeezed its ears out first, then squeezed its little head out. It obediently used its paws to cling onto the edge of the pocket and sat in the pocket to look at the scenery… and of course, look at its Wife.
