Qin Fang’s bucket of glue was not in vain, since that night, he received a text from an unknown sender: “You bitch.”

Qin Fang only raised his eyebrow slightly as his fingers slowly typed out a reply, “Bitch, you’re bitchier than me.”

This type of conversation was, of course, idiotic, so Qin Fang could only bring himself to reply once. Good thing was, the opposing person also didn’t reply, since they really were both stupid then, if they started arguing over text.

Originally, Qin Fang thought that he might have to wait a few days for a response, but apparently, the other wasn’t as calm as he was, finding him the next day.

Right then, Qin Fang had just finished his classes in the morning, and was heading to the school cafe for something to eat. Hua Tong had already gotten there, waiting for him, but at the entrance to the cafe, Qin Fang saw Zhou Siming. He was alone though, contrary to Qin Fang’s expectation, since he had thought that he should be wary of several people ganging up on him by Zhou Siming’s orders.

Although they had already exchanged two buckets of liquids between the two, this was their first time actually meeting. Qin Fang, seeing Zhou Siming walking over with no expression, actually wanted to extend a greeting, but obviously, the other didn’t feel like it. When he was three meters away from Qin Fang, he immediately extended a fist and barrelled towards him.

Qin Fang reacted very quickly and avoided the fist.

It seemed like Zhou Siming didn’t want to talk with Qin Fang at all, instead preferring to let his fists do the talking. All of a sudden, their surroundings were crowded by a bunch of people wanting to catch a glimpse, which annoyed Qin Fang. He didn’t like fighting with a crowd around them.

Qin Fang avoided a few of Zhou Siming’s, but as the fight wore on, he didn’t want to keep on avoiding. He had a bunch of pent up feelings that he needed to get rid of too. Qin Fang, of course, wasn’t afraid even when he was up against two student athletes, much less Zhou Siming. However, it was also clear that Zhou Siming wasn’t bad, since Qin Fang didn’t have any advantage just now.

Hua Tong, who had been waiting in the cafe, saw people hurrying to the entrance, saying that there were people starting to fight. Hearing that, he muttered, “Well, fuck,” and also pushed the door open to run outside.

When he ran outside and saw the commotion Zhou Siming was wiping the corner of his mouth, with Qin Fang standing to the side, saying, “You tell me, what the hell did I do to you such that you’ve come to find me like a mad dog? I’ve always thought that you’ve got the wrong person.”

But the other seemed to really dislike him, since his eyes were full of contempt for Qin Fang, as he opened his mouth he only spit out one word, “Motherfucker.”

“….” That word made Hua Tong enraged, as he cursed, “Arrogant trash.”

Qin Fang at least had the patience to continue asking, “And where did that come from?”

Zhou Siming grit his teeth as he rebutted, “You like the color I choose for you? Suits you perfectly.”

“When I ask you something you should respond directly, don’t twist the question to something else that makes you seem like you’re more educated or something,” Qin Fang frowned, impatience growing on his facial features. “If you really don’t want to say then we don’t have to waste time here talking, since if you want to continue being a mad dog, I can just close my eyes and punch a mad dog.”

“You’re a dog, bitch,” Zhou Siming growled from between his teeth as he heaved towards him again. Hua Tong was just about to reach a fist out when Qin Fang stopped him, he didn’t want to turn this into a two vs one.

But Qin Fang really didn’t want to be spectated like a monkey fighting another monkey, nor did he want videos of it being uploaded to anywhere, so he turned and ran into the second floor of the cafe. Zhou Siming followed him, while Hua Tong and their other friends in the store blocked the entrance, preventing people from getting in.

The manager of the cafe was their friend, and asked Hua Tong if they needed any help.

Hua Tong shook his head, and told the manager, “Whatever we break we’ll deal with later.”

The manager waved their hand, “Don’t worry about those things.”

Now that there weren’t any people spectating for fun, the rest left in and around the cafe were all of Qin Fang’s friends. Some were there before, and some had just come, and although they all stayed to the side and didn’t participate. Whenever Qin Fang was at a disadvantage they would start preparing.

The two had similar skills in terms of fighting, so they were quite evenly matched. Just when Hua Tong was about to join in and end this fight, someone else went up the stairs.

Just then, Qin Fang had finally locked Zhou Siming in a grip with his knee on Zhou Siming’s abdomen, hand in his hair, and another on his arm, pinning him to the floor, and it was difficult to get out. Just when Qin Fang was about to speak, someone from behind pushed him on shoulders. Whoever pushed him had quite the hand strength, so Qin Fang, being hurt and naturally withdrawing into a more defensive position, was pushed off, and Zhou Siming kicked him in the stomach before Qin Fang’s friends could react.

Qin Fang, unprepared for this kick, was really hurt, his face immediately turning white.

His friends around didn’t react fast enough, since they had thought that it was just a 1 vs 1, otherwise it would be a little unfair for either side. But this person who had just rushed up and pushed Qin Fang off just made everyone enraged, and the situation would have spiraled out of control if not the manager of the cafe quickly stood between them.

“Let’s talk about it nicely.” The manager said while they were preventing another fight from breaking out.

Hua Tong also spoke out, frowning at the two people opposing them, but he spoke with some reason, “Everyone stop, if this doesn’t involve you, then don’t find trouble for yourself.”

Although the tables and chairs upstairs were all messed up, Qin Fang pulled over a chair to sit on, and Hua Tong walked over to him, asking, “You good?”

Qin Fang’s face was still quite white, but he replied, “I’m fine.”

“You really have no tact,” Hua Tong said to the boy who just got there, “We have so many people, and you’re not the only one with hands.”

The guy looked at him, and then glanced at Qin Fang, seemingly making sure that he was okay. He just stood there and flatly stated, “Sorry.”

As soon as he said that the people around them started berating the guy, that tone was just flaunting it, and he said it with quite the calm face. This was the guy Qin Fang bumped into yesterday at the Chemistry male dorms, the one that Qin Fang made a statement to and left straight after. He didn’t expect to meet him so soon.

Zhou Siming continued to spew curses from his mouth, but through so many curses there was nothing to be known. Qin Fang didn’t bother with him anymore, instead asking that new guy, “Give me a direct answer, I need to know where my quarrel with you guys comes from. If I really did wrong you guys, then this can pass. If I don’t accept your reason, then let’s give it another go, and I will need to return that kick.”

That guy was much more direct than Zhou Siming, as he opened his mouth and stated directly, “Gong Qi is my pal’s girlfriend.”

As soon as he said it, Hua Tong made a “tsk” sound while the others just looked at each other and kept their mouths shut.

“Who is your pal,” Qin Fang pointed at Zhou Siming, “Him?”

The other didn’t feel like explaining, but he immediately took out his phone and flipped to a specific picture, and then threw the phone to Qin Fang.

Qin Fang caught it and looked at the picture. There were quite a few faces in it, but in the middle, someone had his arm around Gong Qi, smiling a warm smile. The guy was in the picture, and Zhou Siming was there as well.

Qin Fang raised his gaze from the phone and looked towards that guy again, asking, “Was this from before or now?”

The guy looked at him and stated, “They haven’t parted.”

“What are you pretending for,” Zhou Siming continued to curse, “You are the bastard and yet you don’t admit it? Coward.”

Qin Fang fell silent for a while, and no one at the scene spoke anymore, other than Zhou Siming, who would spout a couple of curses now and then. Finally, Qin Fang stood up, but as his stomach still hurt he clutched it, and then he told that guy, “If what you are saying is real then I’ll admit it, but if not… we would have some unfinished business.”

The other didn’t reply, nor did he look at Qin Fang.

Before Qin Fang left, he turned back and looked at that guy again, and their gazes met, still staring at each other, with no one backing down.

Finally, Qin Fang asked, “Handsome lad, you are?”

The other gave him two words, face cold, “Xing Yan.”

“Ok.” Qin Fang smirked, then turned around and left.

If they don’t fight, they wouldn’t have met each other…
