Ji Naitang wasn’t familiar with the neighborhood, so he asked a few passersby before he found a drugstore. As he was walking inside, he almost bumped into the person coming out.
He stopped and discovered that the person whom he almost hit was one of Fengqi’s artists. His name was Zhuo Xiaozhuo. He was new to the entertainment industry and wasn’t very famous.
Zhuo Xiaozhuo’s eyes were filled with contempt when he saw Ji Naitang. He snorted and left. Ji Naitang already knew that his attitude would be like that. Zhuo Xiaozhuo had climbed onto Yao Yuanjing’s bed, but he was dumped after a few days. So, Zhuo Xiaozhuo was hostile towards Ji Naitang who could stay beside Yao Yuanjing.
Ji Naitang walked into the drugstore with no expression. He went over to the counter and said, “Hello. Please give me some medicine for heatstroke.”
He started to go back after buying the medicine. He was worried about Cen Muqi so he started to run. After running for a few minutes, he seemed to see a few people surrounding someone in the front. But he couldn’t see clearly because the street lights were too dim.
“Give me my phone back!”
Ji Naitang paused. It was Zhuo Xiaozhuo’s voice. He slowly went over and saw that Zhuo Xiaozhuo was surrounded by six or seven thugs.
“Yo, he has a big temper. Search him and see if there’s anything valuable.”
“Let go. Don’t touch me……” Zhuo Xiaozhuo scolded. But he couldn’t break free because two thugs pressed down on his shoulders.
“Wu, there’s nothing else.”
“Motherf*cker. He dresses so brightly, but he’s actually so poor?”
“Yeah. He’s putting on airs, but he actually has no money.”
Wu leaned over and looked at Zhuo Xiaozhuo. He stroked his chin and smiled. “He looks pretty good.” He reached out to touch Zhuo Xiaozhuo’s face. Zhuo Xiaozhuo went crazy, but it was very quiet and there was no one around at all.
“Bring him back!” The men responded and started to pull Zhuo Xiaozhuo away. Zhuo Xiaozhuo struggled desperately and saw someone coming over from far away. He quickly shouted, “Help! Help!”
The thugs looked over and shouted at Ji Naitang, “Get out of here. Mind your own business.”
Ji Naitang kept going over like he didn’t hear them. Zhuo Xiaozhuo, who had shouted for help, felt despair when he saw Ji Naitang. Let’s not talk about how he had never treated Ji Naitang nicely, but the weak chicken Ji Naitang couldn’t help him at all.
Ji Naitang seemed very calm. “You’re in my way.”
“Are you still human, Ji Naitang? Can’t you f*cking call the police?!” Zhuo Xiaozhuo shouted angrily. Ji Naitang glanced at him and didn’t react.
“Kid, are you tired of living? You dare to say that I’m in your way? Do you know whose territory this is?” Wu walked over. A thug said, “Wu, this kid looks pretty good too. Why don’t we……”
Wu smiled. “I like those with a strong personality. I can’t get it up when this guy is like a rabbit. But I can give him as a reward to you guys.”
Three thugs surrounded Ji Naitang. Ji Naitang looked at the thugs and said, “Although there’s no one around, there are cameras everywhere. It’s best if you don’t mess around.”
Zhuo Xiaozhuo was about to collapse. What kind of weak warning was this? Ah, great. They were both going to die now.
The thugs smiled. “Little pretty boy, you’re really naïve. Do you think that we will pick a place with surveillance around?”
Ji Naitang sighed. “So there are no cameras here? That’s unfortunate.”
“Hahahaha. Are you scared now? Hand over your valuables. Then come back to play with us brothers. After we feel good, we won’t make things difficult for you.”
Ji Naitang tied up the bag holding the medicine. Then he stuffed the bag into his pocket. Fortunately, the pocket was large on his short-sleeve shirt. Otherwise, he would have nowhere to put it. After doing this, he slowly said, “Apologies. The ‘unfortunate’ I was referring to isn’t me. It’s you.”
