Chapter 36
Bai Tan interjected in a harsh tone, “Why didn’t you dodge?”
Wu Yanfu sighed again, “Master had sealed Ah-Chi’s acupuncture points, how could Ah-Chi dodge?”
“You were once that demon’s disciple, your “Cui Hua Zhe Zhi Shou” is at a higher skill than mine, what are you pretending for?”
“But if Ah-Chi dodges, is master going to abandon Ah-Chi?”
Bai Tan heard him say ‘Ah-Chi’ over and over while being all serious, he felt a bit embarrassed and couldn’t handle it. Before, he’d thought he really was dumb and that was why he’d given him such a nickname, but looking back at it, the dumb one was actually him.
Though the fact that that person really hadn’t wanted to dodge, was honestly beyond his expectations. If his palm had slammed down just now, even if Tian Su’s martial skill was above his, his skull would’ve still broken open from the shock. Even if it hadn’t killed him, it would’ve taken at least half of his life away.
Bai Tan retracted his fist and the knee that pressed onto Wu Yanfu’s chest sank down with a hard push, he spoke coldly, “The only reason why you didn’t dodge, was to make sure that I* wouldn’t actually kill you.”
“Master is so smart, so how could you not know, it’s a far better deal to keep me than kill me?”
When he’d finished, Wu Yanfu smiled, and Bai Tan instantly blanked out. This yao ren was always in a confused and dumb state, he had never seen him smile before. But, for some unknown reason, when this person smiled, it felt familiar to him.
The half-smile and playful look on him made it seem as if he had tricked everyone in the world and played them around in the palm of his hand.
An extremely strange feeling suddenly grew in him.
This person’s face, it seemed just like a piece of mask, and another person was hidden under that mask.
Thinking like that, Bai Tan was as shocked as a bird who had almost just been shot by an arrow, he quickly reached out a hand to rub the man’s face. From the root of his ear down to his chin, he diligently checked it all. He hadn’t found a single sign of a human skin mask, then finally let out a breath, he couldn’t help but laugh at himself, what was he thinking nonsense for? Why mistake the reflection of a bow in the cup for a snake[1]. That old demon had already died a long time ago, what had he needed to be afraid of?!
Wu Yanfu squinted his eyes and stared at him, “What does master plan on doing with Ah-Chi in the future?”
Bai Tan thought internally, even though this person couldn’t be counted as his lifesaver, but he’d still saved him from Si You in Loulan. Not only that, but he’d also cleaned up some of his moves, helped his skills to advance greatly, so he wouldn’t have been wanting to do harm to him.
Plus, he was his yao ren, he couldn’t do without his blood.
But this person obviously had a plan of his own, if he kept him by his side, then there was no way he wouldn’t be defensive.
“You’ve hidden by my* side for so long, what is it that you want?”
Wu Yanfu licked the corner of his lips, “Ah-Chi said before, I like you.”
Bai Tan felt numbness in his lower back and spoke in a vicious tone, “Shut up! I’ve* said it before, I don’t believe it!”
“That is one of the reasons.” Wu Yanfu knew that this little wolf cub wouldn’t be so easy to coax, so he went on, “To kill Fu Lu and rule over the Yue Yin Palace, that is the second reason. As for the third, it is for the treasure map that master holds.”
Bai Tan snickered, as expected, he had other goals.
But, to be this honest and forward, it made the person more trusting. But…he reached out his hand to grab at the air, yet felt no movements of the Huo Xin Curse and knew that the gu insect must’ve been removed by the other somehow.
Wu Yanfu spoke blankly, “Master doesn’t need to be afraid of me, if Ah-Chi wanted to harm you, I would’ve done so sooner.”
Bai Tan felt like a fishbone was stuck inside his throat then, and just gritted his teeth, “You sure can handle shame in place for your responsibilities, hiding your true powers this well.”
“Thanks a lot for master’s compliment.”
“You!” Bai Tan had never seen such a shameless person and was speechless for a moment. He felt like he just wasn’t able to get off of a tiger’s back, both going forward and back was a hard choice. At the same time, his thirst for blood became extremely strong and he swallowed his saliva down, it was unbearable.
“Master?” Wu Yanfu saw his Adam’s apple bobbed without stop, then lured the other with a deep voice, “Does master want to drink blood again?”
“What, you like me* sucking your blood?” Just as he asked the question, Bai Tan suddenly realized something. Every time, after he finished drinking blood, he would always be dizzy for a while, who knew what that person did to him during those times.
Thinking so, he was extremely angered and reached his hand out to call Shiyue to his palm. He sliced open a bloody wound on the neck of the man below him, after feeding the hook with blood, he kicked the other down the bed. He was up against the wall himself, he held Shiyue in front of him, then lowered his head and carefully licked away the streaks of fresh blood that flowed down the hook blade.
After having had enough blood, the youth then hugged onto the hook in his embrace, closed his eyes, and he curled himself up into a cautious ball. There was still fresh blood on his chin and with his raven hair left loose, his chest heaved up and down, it made him appear both delicate and murderous.
It was as if, in the whole world, only that weapon was his support.
Wu Yanfu touched his neck covered in fresh blood, and lifted his eyes to look at the youth in that state, his eyes darkened a bit. His gaze traveled around his body for a while, then he saw the youth hadn’t taken off his footwear yet, he couldn’t help but laugh at him inside. He bent over and helped the other take off his footwear one by one. He held the pair of delicate, white jade-like feet in his palm, and slowly lowered his head and pecked at the tip of the youth’s feet. Not wanting to wake the other up in surprise, he kissed him extremely softly and carefully, he only just tried it out for a little, before he backed off. But the youth curled his toes a little and it lured him enough for his heart to be shaken, the corner of his mouth curved up unconsciously.
He knew it clear and well, even though the little one seemed to be full of sharp blades and spears, his personality was still a timid one.
It was like a tiger made out of paper, if one just used a slight bit more power on it, then it would be pierced through and broken. Yet he hadn’t known, the more ruthless and dominant the little one acted, the more alluring he was for others to want to stain him. Tsk, then for him, who was his shizun, how could he not be worried?
Thinking like that, Wu Yanfu cared and wanted to protect him, but his heart also tickled from excitement. He plucked on a bell of the foot bracelet on the youth’s ankle, held it within his hand and rubbed back and forth. Then, he felt an odd ripple that attacked through the air.
His heart leaped for a second, then he jumped out of the window, and quickly sealed the acupuncture points of the person in hiding.
He was able to see clearly who it was, with just one look, he could feel the other’s energy inside was all messed up and in a chaotic mess, it already had signs of him going insane. Wu Yanfu immediately grabbed onto his belt and crossed over the water surface like a fast wind, then leaped into the forest that touched the shore.
Just as they landed, the person within Wu Yanfu’s embrace spat out a huge mouthful of black blood.
Wu Yanfu furrowed his brows and with one hand, grabbed onto the belt of the person in his embrace, he took off his robe and turned him around. Few golden needles flew out from in between his fingers and in an instant, they’d pierced through many major points of the other’s eight extraordinary meridians. Then he folded his five fingers back into his palm, sucking all the gold needles out. Immediately, streaks of black blood flew out from all those needle holes like river streams.
Once the black blood was all drawn out, the half-conscious man in purple clothing finally slowly woke up, then he called out weakly, “Sect leader…”
“I’m* here.”
Wu Yanfu helped the person in his embrace put his robe back on and supported the other to sit up, but a scorching hot hand had grabbed onto his wrist. The man in purple clothing looked at him with his head up, his pair of eyes were as deep as the willow leaves that withered during late autumn, miserable and bleak.
“Sect leader, this subordinate does not have a long time left to live, could the sect leader agree to this subordinate’s one request?”
“What is it?”
Hearing the care that seeped through the other’s voice, Si You laid his head on the back of his hand, “A few months ago…in order to train the Sky of Six Desires, this subordinate learned the Tiannu Gouhun skills, and found someone to dual cultivate with. That person is someone from the righteous side of the Wu Lin, but this subordinate ended up harming him and made him lose all his martial skills, there is guilt in my heart and I wished that the sect leader could take this subordinate back to that person’s side.”
Wu Yanfu looked at him with drooping eyes, snickered, “Idiot, if you go back, would that person let you off the hook easily?”
“Dying by his hand can be counted as Si You’s punishment for those actions…dying is still better than living with the guilt.” While he spoke, the man started to cough lightly. There were even more blood veins on his cheeks now, they looked as if they were about to leak blood, “So, could the sect leader agree to help this subordinate?”
“Looks like the situation within the room earlier, you’ve seen it all…causing you to say such stupid things.” Wu Yanfu snatched his own hand out of his grip, and grabbed onto his wrist instead, two of his fingers pressed onto his life meridian to balance his breathing inside, “Si You…it’s not like you don’t know the reason for me* searching for a rao ren in place of you being a concubine ming, don’t be too delusional.”
The purple clothed man suddenly became energetic upon hearing those words, and the color of his face looked to be a lot better, “Then, has the sect leader been healed now?”
As he finished, he reached out a hand to go check the area below the other’s abdomen, but was stopped halfway by a few ghost vines.
One hand on his chin lifted his head up and he met the deep and dark eyes of the man, they were enough to pierce through his heart and soul.
“You sure have some guts, Si You.”
Si You pulled his hand back and bent over to kneel down in front of him.
“Sect leader…Si You knows he doesn’t have the power to help the sect leader finish his training, so I don’t desire for too much. But I do wish for the sect leader to complete one last wish of Si You’s, upon remembering that Si You had followed the sect leader for dozens of years, is that fine?”
Wu Yanfu lifted his chin, “As long as it is something I* can help out with, I’ll* do my best.”
Si You lifted his head, “Sect leader…could you end this subordinate’s life with your own hands?”
Wu Yanfu stared at him; the corner of his mouth tightened slightly.
“The sect leader must understand it more than this subordinate. For a martial artist, to die from qi deviation, their death states are the worst. This subordinate, as two generations of hu fa for the Fu Tu Sect, is willing to die within the sect leader’s hand, only then is it a proud death.”
Wu Yanfu rubbed his face and kept silent for a while, his hand slipped down to his neck and finally said, “You are someone who has been by my* side enough to see the glories and shames, the successes and failures of mine*, if you die, then in this world, I* wouldn’t have anyone else to understand me.”
Si You closed his eyes, “With this one sentence from the sect leader…Si You has no regrets for this life.”
“It is good if there are no regrets.”
Wu Yanfu clenched his fingers inch by inch, but saw the blood veins on Si You’s cheeks had suddenly burst open. The corner of his lips curved up and instantly, his expression was like a demon’s, seductive and also psychotic. A pair of arms suddenly reached out and wrapped around his neck.
“How could there be no regrets?” A string of light laughter flew out of the man’s lips and entered Wu Yanfu’s ears. Each sound intruded upon his heart and the pair of arms wrapped around him were stuck to his body, he was actually unable to shake the other off in one go.
Knowing that the other had already been controlled by his inner demon and lost consciousness, Wu Yanfu flipped his hands and got up. Strong wind exploded around his whole body, and it flung the person who hung onto him away, he fell into the water. He then flew over to fish him up from the water and placed him down by a tree. But just as he wanted to go and check how the other was, he felt a fire burning up from below his abdomen.
Wu Yanfu’s pupils shrunk and he realized that he’d been affected by the Youfu move, it dragged out his sexual desire.
The move that Si You had just used on him was the most powerful skill of “Tiannu Gouhun”, the Art of Youfu. Just as the literal words meant, if one was completely caught off guard, even if they were a buddha, it would be hard for them to settle down. So even for him, being affected, he would also need to find a place with no other people around, meditate for a whole day and have his eight extraordinary meridians flow smoothly in order to break it. Just then, he couldn’t care about anything else and turned around and walked quickly towards the deep parts of the forest. But then, he heard a sound from behind him, somewhere nearby.
Wu Yanfu’s heart jumped, could that little wolf cub have heard the noise? He turned his head back to look and, as expected, he saw a person’s figure leaping on the ship above the lake. In the blink of an eye, he passed through the trees and landed in front of him.
Bai Tan landed within the grass and stared at him coldly, “What are you doing here secretly, in the middle of the night by yourself?”
Tsk, the little wolf cub sure hadn’t woken up at a convenient time. Wu Yanfu hadn’t answered and just used qinggong to leap further into the forest. Bai Tan saw him running away only upon seeing him, so of course, he wasn’t going let it go. With a tap at the tip of his feet, he immediately chased after.”
“What are you running for? I* want you to stop!”
Right now, the pair of master and disciple were both using “Wu Feng Nong Yue.” With one ahead and one behind, they jumped and passed through many trees and branches within the forest, but no big distance was made between them. As Wu Yanfu’s steps in front got worse, Bai Tan chased after him, with even more power.
Unknowingly, the two had both entered the deep part of Zanglongdao. Wu Yanfu saw the looming shapes of stone figures ahead in one look, and knew that if they went any further in, they would enter the “Liudao Lunhui” array. They would have intruded into the battle stage of the Great Assembly of Wu Lin officially. Inside there were many different traps, countless powerful material artists and dangers all around. He couldn’t help it but led Bai Tan in another direction for a while. He only stopped after arriving in front of a well-hidden stone temple, and immediately sat down crossed-legged.
Bai Tan saw him sitting down without a single word to mediate and was greatly puzzled inside. Then he also remembered that he’d seen another person falling into the water within the darkness, it seemed like he’d been hurt by this person? The more he thought about it, the more suspicions and questions built up inside him. “What’s up with you? Why did you run so fast just then? Are you hurrying to reincarnate? Who was the person that fought with you?”
Wu Yanfu had his eyes closed and hearing his oppressing and bright voice, it just felt like there were countless little claws scratching at his eardrum. His two hands were held together and he mumbled out a spell to cleanse his heart and clear his mind, but the fire below his abdomen only burned greater and greater.
“Hey, I’m* asking you questions!”
Bai Tan wasn’t going to give up until he got his answers, he carried Shiyue and walked up to the front of Wu Yanfu, then lifted the other’s chin with the hook blade.
The green-blue veins at Wu Yanfu’s temple jumped chaotically, and as he slowly opened his eyes, blood veins even crawled around the white of his eyes. His sight landed on the delicate skin exposed by the opened robe of the youth in front of him, then, as if he was sucked in, he couldn’t move his eyes away at all. The fire burst within him, and almost burned him through, from the inside to the outside, those monstrous sexual desires of his were about to break through.
It wasn’t that he didn’t want this little wolf cub, but instead, he didn’t want to take the other in such an unbearable situation. To be affected by a ferocious move such as “Tiannu Gouhun,” it was hard for him to control himself and he didn’t know what he might’ve ended up doing.
Bai Tan saw him staring straight at his chest and was instantly angered from embarrassment, “What are you looking at?”
Wu Yanfu swallowed down a mouthful of saliva and with an ugly hoarse voice, he said, “…Leave quickly.”
“Why? I’ll* go wherever I want.”
Bai Tan furrowed his brows and when he saw the oddness within his appearance; sweating all over, he decided to put away Shiyue and go up and see.
Translator’s comments: I was honestly intrigued about the story of Si You and the man he dual cultivated with, since he did feel guilty enough wanting to die in the other’s hand. But in just a few paragraphs, that person was like tossed out of the window inside Si You’s head?? Then my pity for their story was also thrown out of the window in like five seconds??? (and the way he just went and tried to grab Wu Yanfu’s dick lmao)
Grumpy: Hahahaha
Xiao’s Comments: I thought at first Si You was in love with Wu Yanfu…but I’m also interested in that guy he dual cultivated with…also, are we going to get some sexy actions between Wu Yanfu and Bai Tan’s next chapter?!
