2. Senior Gong VS Junior Shou (2)

Just as Gu Jinlin was looking around the room for a weapon, he heard the ‘bang!’ of a door again. But this time, the sound came from far away, it didn’t belong to the door of the room that he was currently in.

“You guys weren’t in your dorms at this time, but you were here instead?! Don’t tell me you were going to study here! Study in a hotel room? Do you think that I, your senior, am an idiot?! I’m not that easy to fool! All of you go stand outside!”

A flurry of footsteps sounded and a deep, angry voice filtered through the door.

It was completely silent outside. None of the people who had previously been raucously laughing dared to talk back. Inside of the room, Gu Jinlin let out a sigh of relief. He could fight off one person, but if the others outside had joined in, he feared that it would turn into a fierce battle.

It wasn’t that he couldn’t do it. How could a man say that he couldn’t do it?! It was just that his current body, with its thin legs and arms, couldn’t.

At that moment, Gu Jinlin let out a soft hiss. He sucked in a breath and relaxed his muscles. His whole body ached with pain, someone had definitely beat him up! He knew this because he had reached up to touch his forehead and felt a large swollen bump on it.

He heard the sound of someone knocking on the door before the deep voice of the man sounded again. “Is anyone still in there? Get out right now.”

Gu Jinlin had yet to make a move before the man surnamed Chen rolled down the bed and struggled to crawl towards the door. As he reached out to unlock the door, he strained out the words, “Senior...save me…”

It was just that his voice was as quiet as a mosquito, no one else could hear what he had said. Even the sound of the door unlocking was louder than him!

The ‘ka-cha’ of the door unlocking sounded. The man outside didn’t wait for Chen to react before kicking the door open with a ‘bang!’.

He was safe now. Chen, whose lower half was still in agony, had yet to wipe off the pained expression on his face before he was hit in the face by the door. A stream of hot liquid immediately squirted out of his nose. This time it hurt so much that he couldn’t even cry...

Gu Jinlin instinctively pulled the quilt next to him over his body. The next second, a ‘click’ sounded as the room’s lights were turned on.

Gu Jinlin’s eyes hadn’t adapted to the blinding light, he ducked his head down and squinted. His eyebrows furrowed into a frown.

“Senior...quickly send me to the hospital, it hurts so much…” Chen, who was lying on the ground, felt like he was dying.

Gu Jinlin raised his head after hearing this. He found himself face to face with the tall man who had just broken through the door.

The man’s side-part haircut1 revealed his smooth, white forehead. A pair of deep eyes rested under his sword eyebrows, and gold-framed glasses sat perched on the tall bridge of his nose. His beautiful lips were currently pursed up tightly and it was very obvious that he wasn’t happy.

He wore a darkly colored suit that tightly covered his entire body, it accentuated the man's slender physique and exposed a part of his white neck.

When his gaze returned to the man’s face, Gu Jinlin saw that the man’s line of sight had been momentarily resting on his shoulder. Gu Jinlin looked down, and with a swish, he tugged the quilt over his shoulders.

He looked up at the man standing in front of him and narrowed his beautiful peach eyes as he coldly asked, “Senior, have you seen enough?”
