3. Senior Gong VS Junior Shou (3)

Once Gu Jinlin was done putting on his clothes, he walked out the room and saw a few young men supporting the already fainted Chen out. The self-proclaimed senior who was wearing a suit hadn’t left yet and was standing outside...was he waiting for him?

As he had been putting on his clothes, Gu Jinlin had been talking to the system in his mind. He now knew that the owner of this body was called Shen Liyu.

After hearing this name, Gu Jinlin understood what was going on.

Gu Jinlin had just finished a broadcast in his apartment. He had been exhausted and decided to take a shower. Just as he had reached the door to his bathroom, he had heard the sound of the doorbell.

“Hello sir, I have an express delivery for you, please sign here.”

Gu Jinlin signed for the delivery, closed his door, and frowned as he looked at the box in his hands.

The box had been signed by it’s sender, “Lin Lin’s Number One Fan.”

It seemed that it was something sent to him by a fan of his live broadcast. Gu Jinlin walked over to the sofa and sat down. He opened the box and found a few books inside.

It was obvious from a glance that these books weren’t modest books. Their covers were images of two men hugging or kissing. They were BL novels with vulgar names written on their covers...they didn’t look like they were worth reading.

However, Gu Jinlin had still flipped through the first book he saw, ‘The Years When I was the School Grass1’.

The book had a very simple plot. It told the story of the Mary Sue2 main character, Li Chen, and how he had risen to popularity at school, started a harem, and finally reached the pinnacle of life. It was truly the most dogblooded of dogblood stories.

Gu Jinling had skimmed through the pages before throwing it aside. It would be a waste of time to read a book like that! He might as well take a nice, comfortable shower and go to bed.

As for Shen Liyu, his name had shown up at the beginning of the novel. He had fallen for the main character, Li Chen, over a trivial matter. Shen Liyu had been the first harem member to be conquered by the Mary Sue main character. Unfortunately, Gu Jinlin had just destroyed that plot point.

“Congratulations to the host for successfully accumulating a total of 20 scum abuse points. Please continue working hard.”

This was the prompt that had sounded in Gu Jinlin’s head when he had kicked Li Chen.

Gu Jinlin already knew that he had transmigrated. He also knew why he had transmigrated, it was because he was dead. That’s right, after putting down the book and falling asleep on the sofa, his neighbor’s gas had leaked, and after an open flame had touched the gas, the entire apartment floor had been instantly blown up.

Now, the only thing he could do was work with the system to complete his task of face-slapping and counter-attacking so that he could return to his original world the day before he died in order to save himself.

Maybe it was because Gu Jinlin had changed the plot of the story, but the senior, Song Qihan, who was originally supposed to appear in the hotel after Shen Liyu’s first time had been taken and everyone had left, had now appeared ahead of time.

The early appearance of Song Qihan seemed to have rescued Shen Liyu. But in reality, it had actually rescued Li Chen from receiving any more ‘harm’ from Gu Jinlin.

Gu Jinlin cursed inwardly, Li Chen’s main character aura was blatantly obvious...

Song Qihan turned around to look at Shen Liyu, who was wearing a wrinkled school uniform. Shen Liyu’s head was lowered and no one could tell what he was thinking as he pursed his thin lips.

Shen Liyu had always been a well-behaved and sensible junior in his eyes. How had he gotten mixed up with Li Chen’s group of delinquents? He had never expected this to happen. He was an adult and the situation in the room earlier had been obvious. How could he not know what Shen Liyu and Li Chen had just done…

But after seeing the injury on Shen Liyu’s shoulder, he believed that Shen Liyu had been forced. The eyes behind Song Qihan’s glasses deepened, and he pursed his lips slightly. He spoke to Shen Liyu, who was standing in front of him.

“You should spend the night at my place. Don’t be scared, I’ll protect you.”
