“Miss Ye, how do we deal with the two bitches?”
Ye Wanru heard the inquiry from the servant girl after making just a few steps forward, she turned around and shot a harsh glance at the servant girl Liu Yun and exclaimed angrily, “Bury them at once. Do you want others to see this and use it against us?”
Liu Yun bowed and apologized, “Yes, yes, Miss, Cui Meng and I are on it.”
“Stop asking stupid questions like this. If you couldn’t handle such trivial matters, you’re not qualified enough to serve me.”
Seeing that Miss Ye was venting her anger on Liu Yun, Cui Meng was gloating, however, what she didn’t expect was that Liu Yun would drag her in the mire. Now Liu Yun was on her way to the snow field, along with many other servant girls, full of groaning.
Out in the vast field, it was snowy and freezing cold. A woman was on her knees, prostrating herself like a bird stretching its wings; her head was kept down, buried deep in the snow, both of her arms, crisscrossed before her chest, trying her best to protect the person in her arms.
The snow kept falling on her in silence, hiding the scent of blood and covering the wound which was deep enough to expose her bones. Clad with the fallen snow, the woman looked less shabby in rags. She stayed calm and peaceful; her hair was a mess, clinging to her face, along with blood and snow.
Her thin and small body was covered with white snow, which made her look like an ice carving from afar.
No one would bear to seeing a woman like this. Whoever had done this to her must be brutal and outrageous.
“What a bitch, causing so much trouble even after death!” Cui Meng kicked the woman with her left leg angrily and the body of the woman fell sideways on the ground.
Cui Meng turned around and ordered the servant girls,” Carry the two bodies to the back mountain, the servants Liu Yun brought know how to bury them!”
“Why is it me who has to carry the ominous dead body while Liu Yun can simply go and ask other servants to do the dirty work.” Cui Meng complained in her heart.
Maybe because she was at the peak of her anger, Cui Meng didn’t realize that there’s someone missing on the snow field.
All other servant girls failed to notice that either, they fumbled around and went up to carry the woman’s body. Cui Meng turned around and walked towards the porch, where her Master was still waiting for her report on the completion of her task.
All of a sudden, Cui Meng felt a blow of chilly wind and it was all silence behind her back as she couldn’t even hear the heavy breathing of all the servant girls carrying the corpse.
What happened? These girls were slacking off again?
However, it was eerily tranquil in her back and Cui Meng couldn’t help but let out a shiver.
She made a heavy exhalation, forming a wisp of mist outside her mouth, which was as pale as her face. Just as she was about to turn around, she felt someone was strangling her as she could feel the cold from the hands on her neck.
She wanted to yell for help, but couldn’t make a sound with her mouth wide open.
“Stop struggling.”
Hearing the cruel warning from the one behind, Cui Meng was now filled with horror and her sweat kept oozing out all over her body. As Ye Wanru’s underling, she thought she had experienced all kinds of threats, but only this time, she was almost scared to death by the cold voice.
Because the voice Cui Meng heard was the same as her own voice!
“She only took two buns out of the kitchen because she couldn’t afford seeing her daughter starving, and you beat them to death because of that?”
The voice suddenly changed and sounded calmer and more indifferent, like an assassin who killed without mercy.
Cui Meng, however, still couldn’t talk. She looked straight into the far porch, her eyes wide open and her body deadly stiffened. She saw that Liu Yun had taken a bunch of servants coming to her, her black eyes shining with the hope of getting rescued.
But all of a sudden, like a lamp was rekindled, Cui Meng’s eyes dimmed again.
“Cui Meng, why are you still standing there? Where are the bodies? All carried to the back mountain?”
Liu Yun made a sly smile after hearing no response from Cui Meng. She then exclaimed towards the porch, “Cui Meng… you are being lazy again?”
Ye Wanru immediately came, roaring, “Cui Meng, you wicked girl, I am gonna kick your ass hard this time!”
Liu Yun turned to Cui Meng, smiling as she saw Ye Wanru coming towards here with a whip in her hand, only to realize that Cui Meng was different from who she used to be.
The eyes of Cui Meng who was now standing in front of her were full of greyness, like a walking dead.
Suddenly, Cui Meng made a leap, coming to the front of Liu Yun.
Liu Yun took a big surprise and thought Cui Meng was mad at her and intended to make her pay, “Hum, silly girl, you want to have a fight with me? Miss Ye is coming. She will skin you alive.”
As Liu Yun was only looking at Cui Meng’s face, she didn’t even notice that Cui Meng’s legs were dragged on the floor and her left leg was broken from the caput femoris below.
“Ye Wanru is coming? I am about to get her!”
“Who the heck do you think you are, Cui Meng? A humble servant like you is not allowed to call her ladyship’s name.”
Liu Yun slapped Cui Meng hard across the face, only to see that her head was turning 90 degree to one side, parallel to her shoulder.
“You, are you okay?” Liu Yun was freaked out as normal person would have already died if their head was twisted that way.
But Cui Meng’s head was returning to the previous position, leaving Liu Yun staring at her as motionless as a piece of wood, her eyes full of terror.
“I am fine.” Replied Cui Meng.
This voice belonging to Cui Meng’s without a doubt, however, what Liu Yun found is that Cui Meng’s mouth was completely shut when she uttered the words! She felt the person standing before her was like a puppet, a puppet controlled by others.
“Cui Meng, you wicked girl, being lazy again, huh?”
With Ye’s scolding comes the sound of a whip, a crisp and sharp one, breaking the snow with a clear cut as it fell.
It was a slash that left people’s skin split and their flesh broken forth at most, but Cui Meng’s body fell as she got flogged.
Cui Meng was already dead?
“Cui, Cui Meng!”
With no time to get Cui Meng up from the ground, Liu Yun took a few steps backwards, pointing at the person appearing at the back of Cui Meng. She exclaimed while shivering, “You, you! Ah… ghost!”
Ye Wanru also managed to get a clear view of the face behind Cui Meng as her body fell to one side and she was already shocked and speechless.
“Ye, Ye Lan!”
“Why is your face so pale, Miss Ye, aren’t you happy to see me again?” Hearing that she was still using Cui Meng’s voice, Liu Yun was so terrified that she even passed out.
Although her face was bloodless, Ye Wanru said with an aggressive and vicious voice, “Since you are lucky to be alive, I wouldn’t mind killing you one more time!”
She wielded her whip, thinking calmly in her mind: She is too good to deal with a helpless loser like Ye Lan.
Ye Lan smiled slightly, with a shred of coldness and determination, “Don’t be too complacent about yourself, lest your tongue got cut off…”
That sharp and arrogantvoice apparently belonged to Ye Wanru, but it was uttered casually by Ye Lan.
Ye Lan was very satisfied to see the horror on Ye Wanru’s face. Being the top special agent in the 21st century, Ye Lan could imitate virtually everyone on earth vividly, she didn’t earn her name as Qian Jibian (literally means change according to a thousand different situations) for nothing.
“Take her! Kill this bitch!”
Ye Lan threw a cold glance at those servants; her eyes were as sharp as blades, seeming to take their hearts away. The servants all hesitated and lowered their head to avoid direct eye contact with her.
“Useless crap, go kill her!” Ye Wanru grabbed two servants and threw them at Ye Lan.
Ye Lan, on the other hand, didn’t dodge but made a quick move. After a clear crisp crack, two of the servants were now on the floor, their vocal bones broken. They held their throats and were soon out of breath after some leg kicks.
Now all the servants, including the servant girls behind Ye Wanru, had been forced by her to charge against Ye Lan.
Ye Lan, at this moment, flashed through, only leaving behind a shadow of her quick movement. Nobody could see her clearly but only caught the sound of her fists and before they knew it, every one of them was on the floor.
She was now standing in the cold, alone, her rags blown by the wind, her hair hung before her stunningly beautiful face. Behind her, the snow was falling serenely.
