Before he could recover, she ordered. "Your punishment is to carry me on your back and take me to see all your favorite places here!" She commanded.

"Mm.. But you need to get down first." She was still clinging onto him, leaving him no way to give her a piggy back. She must first get off in order for him to do so.

The scene changed to a different setting. A young boy whose eyes glowed like a warm sun and a deep handsome, structured face stood among the select few who made it to the preliminary round.

The captain of the military guard was about to give out the instruction for the next battle test when the first princess descended from her throne.

All the guards knelt and greeted her appearance. The general spoke, "First princess, what brings your presence here?"

"This selection was originally requested by me. I have the right to choose who I want to serve by my side."

"What does first princess want to do?"

"I want a duel."

"Duel?" whispers were heard among the guards.

"The First Princess wants to fight in a duel?"

"The First Princess had been meek and quiet since the passing of her mother. She rarely ever made appearances anywhere."

No one had saw her fight, but only seen her used the basic skills.

The general replied with concerns, "Princess, you've rarely ever practiced swordsmanship. I can't let you."

She gave a cold look at the captain and answer coldly. "Hoki, the final guard must be chosen by me. It was I who requested this."

In her hand was a sword that was once wielded by her mother. Since her mother fell into the Amnesiac Abyss, it was rumored that the sword had gone missing, but now it reappeared in her hand. Had the Kronos Sabre Sword been in her hand all these times? There was once a legend that that the person who held the Kronos Sabre Sword held the multidimensional realms in their hand. The reappearance of it could incite power imbalance.

The princess pointed her sword at a man, pretending to meet him for the first time. "Introduce yourself."

A smile appeared in his eyes. "Your highness, the name is Azuric."

The corner of her lips curved, trying to hold down her happiness. She ordered. "You have the best auras. Fight me. If you win, you shall serve beside me." She didn't say you shall serve me, but serve beside me. For those who are meticulous, they would be able to catch on, that she was not looking for someone to serve her but be by her side.

A corner of his mouth lifted into a curve. Azuric took out a blade and it extended into a sword. "As your highness wish."

The general and guards were about to intervene when the fight started. Azuric released an inner energy wind, strong enough to blow off those on the platform away.

The princess released an energy wind, powerful enough to hold back the guards. On the stage, was just them two, staring at each other.

The two gazed deeply at each other, letting their eyes and face communicate. They have spent a century together. They could read each other's mind just by the facial expressions. They fought and trained together in all these years. This stage was just a show for her to dominate the final selection so she could personally hand pick him to be next to her.

Soon, they flew inward towards each other and the sound of swords clashed, vibrating the entire stadium.

The princess wielded her sword upward in an attempt to push back the sword, as the same time twirled her body along with it. She brought the sword back down and blocked her back as it's now facing him.

She let go of the sword as it can fight on its own by mind control of its owner. She skidded around and grabbed onto Azuric's collar and her lips turned into a crescent shape.

His mind wobbled. 'What is she doing? How could she still be so playful in front of many eyes?'

With a hand, he pulled his collar back, jerking him closer to him, only a couple inches away from his face. This startled him even though she threw herself in his arms numerous times in the past. The two peered at each other for a few seconds.

In this time, the guards and observers somehow felt like this wasn't a competition duel, but a confession fight between two people?

Azuric pulled in the blade and swiped it between her arms and his collars. She let go and retreated a distance. Her sword flew back into her hand and she sped forward to attack again. He defended, and sometimes he accompanied her movements. She flew and he followed. She attacked and he defended. This whole time he has yet to attack her at all. Somehow it felt like he was guiding her instead of fighting her.

In the audience, the guards and observer felt that this didn't feel like a fight but a play of two people who were familiar to each other.

The speed of their movement increased until it was barely visible and their figure became like energy wind. The two landed back onto the platform and their sword pointing at each other, making it a tie.

The guards roared in excitement. They didn't know their first princess could fight this well. She had been low key since the passing of her mother. They didn't know she wielded the Kronos Sabre and fight on par with a person who made it to the preliminary round for a high-ranking guard position.

The princess pointed her swords towards Azuric and announced, "Hoki, I choose him to be my personal guard."

Hoki spoke, "First princess, there are two more. Shouldn't we test them too?

"No, he's enough. Find other positions for them."

Azuric was about to get down on one knee to bow his acceptance, but the princess stopped him by the point of the sword tip onto his chest. "You shall serve me, swear your loyalty to me and only me. If you keep your oath, you shall have my divine protection." A white light rushed from her hand, traveled through the sword to the tip and entered Azuric's chest. The light swiveled throughout his body.
