A cold wind blew, and Ye Huang, standing in the hall, couldn't help but shiver, his mind returning from his reverie.

"Damn, I've seen the world, and even when I had a beauty in my arms, I never lost my head. Today, for the first time, I actually did. But, you know what, if I could really get a beauty like Xie Chenyang, life would really be damn good." With a chuckle, Ye Huang picked up his suitcase and went upstairs.

Choosing a room near the stairs as his bedroom, Ye Huang lay down on the bed. After so many years, he had never felt as relaxed as he did today.

Seventeen years of begging and eight years as a killer had made him experience the warmth and cold of the world, and the rise and fall of life. Having a home of his own meant a lot to Ye Huang.

Even if this home was just for him alone, Ye Huang felt a sense of belonging, at least he wouldn't drift like a weed in a world without family as he had for the past twenty years.

Ye Huang was an orphan, a fact he knew from the moment he could understand. He didn't know why his parents abandoned him or who they were. He only knew that the old beggar had found him in a trash pile in Yanjing on a snowy day. For the first fourteen years, he was just a nameless little beggar following the old beggar around the country.

When the old beggar returned to his hometown, Yucheng, he smiled and left this cold world. He said it was called returning to where he came from, even a beggar should have a place to return to. Ye Huang didn't understand but nodded seriously. The old beggar then smiled and left.

Later, the little beggar was found by the old man and entered an orphanage, thus gaining his current name. Then, the old man heartlessly sent Ye Huang to a killer training camp, where he underwent three years of dark and brutal training, eventually becoming a cold-blooded killer.

Although this wasn't Ye Huang's original intention, he still felt a bit grateful to the old man, who, despite his hypocritical appearance, had taught him that a person who feels inferior can live a good life through their own efforts and strength, even if that life is filled with blood and killing.

Compared to other orphans who wished their parents had never given birth to them rather than let them suffer, Ye Huang didn't blame his parents much.

To be precise, in Ye Huang's dictionary, the word "parents" was just an unexplained term, empty and meaningless. So, even though he had the ability to find his biological parents over the years, he never did.

He had been abandoned by them at birth, and seeking comfort now would be pointless. Their world had no place for him after they abandoned him.

Reaching for his suitcase, Ye Huang opened it and took out a photo frame. Inside was a young girl with long hair, long lashes, and a smile as pure as an angel.

"Fengling, from now on, this will be our home. Look, it's quite big, isn't it?" Gently caressing the face in the photo, Ye Huang's expression became solemn, a stark contrast to his earlier interactions with Xiao Lin and Xie Chenyang.

"I'm sorry, Fengling. I still can't let go of some things, so forgive me for not following our agreement to find them. Maybe I am just an extra to them."

"If they really remember me, they would come looking for me, wouldn't they?"

Staring at the girl in the photo, Ye Huang was lost in thought for a long time before reluctantly putting it down and leaving the room. After eating a quick meal downstairs, he returned to his room to sleep.

The past two days of travel had left Ye Huang somewhat tired, and he soon fell into a deep sleep.

At three in the afternoon, Ye Huang woke up from a dream. It was a spring dream, but just as he was about to enter the climax, he woke up.

Although annoyed, Ye Huang knew that even if he closed his eyes again, he wouldn't be able to continue the dream.

After washing his face, Ye Huang sat in the empty hall, feeling a bit uneasy. In fact, Ye Huang wasn't a person who liked noise; on the contrary, this silence was a very good atmosphere for him. But for some reason, looking at the empty house, his former calmness was gone, replaced by anxiety and irritability.

"Damn, giving up the killing business has even changed my habits. It seems I need to change my plan of staying at home. What should I do?"

Scratching his head, Ye Huang felt restless. Initially, he hadn't planned to work after returning to the country, but now, just one day at home had made him uncomfortable, so he had to find something to pass the time.

After a while, the images of the beautiful Xie Chenyang and the young policewoman Xiao Lin, with her almost bursting uniform, flashed in his mind.

"Damn, have I really become a pervert? Why am I thinking about them?" Ye Huang scolded himself, but a moment later, his eyes lit up.

"Wait, one is a university teacher, and the other is a police officer. Both have good jobs, but I prefer being a university teacher. Fewer classes, more leisure, and plenty of beauties to date."

Thinking of the fashionable and innocent beauties in the university, Ye Huang almost instantly decided on his future profession.

"Damn, I wonder if the recruitment officer at Yucheng University is corrupt. If he asks for too much money, I'll be in big trouble!" Looking at the suitcase on the table, Ye Huang wasn't sure how much money to take.

In the end, the domineering Ye Huang simply carried the entire suitcase of dollars out the door. This time, he was determined to become a teacher, no matter what.
